Raising Cane's Dairy-Free Menu Guide & Allergen Notes (2024)

Updated February 2024! Raising Cane’s started in Louisiana, but has since expanded into hundreds of locations across the United States. Their menu is small, with their classic Chicken Fingers taking center stage. And unfortunately, there are very few dairy-free options aside from basic beverages. But Raising Cane’s does have a couple sides and one “secret menu” option that has made many dairy-free and gluten-free customers happy.

Vegan Options: This is not a haven for vegans! Stick with the fries and ketchup or hot sauce packets at Raising Cane’s if you don’t have any other restaurant choices.

Chicken

  • Naked Chicken Fingers (secret menu)
  • Naked Chicken Sandwich (secret menu)(ask on other allergens in store)

Heads Up! On request, at most locations, the staff will make unbreaded chicken fingers. The “naked” Chicken Fingers do not contain gluten, dairy, or other top allergens. However, they are still cooked in the same fryer as Raising Cane’s classic Chicken Fingers, which do contain milk, egg, and wheat. Their buns do not contain milk, so you can order a “naked” chicken tender sandwich without milk. But if you have other allergen concerns, check on the bun ingredients in store.

Sides

  • Crinkle Cut Fries (see Heads Up below)
  • Coleslaw(contains egg)

Heads Up! Their allergen chart is confusing, but Raising Cane’s fries do not contain any top allergens. However, like with many restaurants, they are cooked in a shared fryer. They do make their Chicken Fingers (which contain milk) in the same fryer. The Texas Toast does contain milk.

Sauces

  • Cane’s Sauce (contains egg, fish, soy)
  • Ketchup
  • Louisiana Hot Sauce Packets
  • Mayonnaise (contains egg)

Heads Up! The Honey Mustard at Cane’s does contain milk.
