Back to some cowboys!!! I love me some of them 🥵🥵🥵. And Emmitt was sorta cowboy before he went back home he was a solider but with injuries and ending that part of his life he's back home taking care of the Ranch he never wanted but family stuff comes first.

And it starts rough for him and Aspen since he did accuse her of wanting his land since their families have always been rivals about land and all that but our man is smitten but still cautious about Aspen. As for her she's just trying to keep her family ranch afloat since her dead beat father left her mother and them with the ranch. The sexual tension is high between Emm and her but there still some secerts between them and trust that finally is earned.

We do see mentioned past couple from different series ;)

No ow drama tiny om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, tiny drama, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhor*

3.5 stars.
So freaking sweet, and sexy.
We had already seen a glimpse of these two from this authors previous book with Alister and his girl that he found ashore his lighthouse.
Getting the full picture and seeing them find happiness together was so satisfying.

The plot was super simple. The drama was very, very low. The sex was steamy and passionate and totally hot. And the relationship was an insta-love. Quick, but sugary sweet.

I had a really good time getting to know these two.
I just wish we got a few more details about a couple things.
Emmitt’s discharge from the SEALs, and Aspen’s mother.
I mean they aren’t super important to the story. I’m just a nosy bitch who likes to know everything. Lol

I’m glad I picked it up.
Books like this always seem to reset me and keep me out of slumps.

Emmitt is on leave from the SEALs and comes back to his family's abandoned farm. He meets Aspen and is instantly bewitched... But she is a Sutherland and the Hunters and Sutherland's hated each other since forever.😉 Their attraction and connection is instant and nothing can stop Emmitt from getting his woman. A few hurdles on the way but a HEA 😍😍 Instalove, sweet, steamy, romantic and safe with a sweet HEA and no real drama😍😍😍

Sweet, sexy and with a lot of heat. Some feud gets in the way of Emmitt and Aspen but it all works out. I only wish I would have known what happens with her mom in the end.

My fourth SEAL Team Romeo book is by Cameron Hart. I enjoyed this latest edition to the series.

Cameron's story is sweet and had a touch of enemies-to-lovers theme based on an old family feud but the two characters never knew each other so it wasn't a past personal hate.

Like the others, this isn't linked but from little drops from the author, it seems like there are links to possibly her other series or maybe even another SEAL member.

I enjoyed Cameron's writing and wouldn't mind reading more from her.
.
.
.
Emmitt is returning to his family ranch in Texas while on leave. His parents passed a couple of years ago and he didn't know what to do with the place. He isn't sure that he wants it for himself but he couldn't bear selling something his parents worked so hard for.

Aspen is home from college helping her mother on their ranch. Since her father up and left after cheating on her mother for years she hasn't been coping. Aspen had tried to juggle college and the ranch but it become obvious she had to choose and unlike her father, she chose her mother.

Emmitt's first moment back on the ranch is lassoing a runaway horse but it's the owner that has him off balance.

When Aspen trips right into Emmitt's arms she feels safe and less alone than she has for a long time. It's clear though that he is not looking for a new friend so she heads back home.

With the old family feud always in the back of Emmitt's mind, he doesn't know what to make of Aspen but he can't stop thinking about her. She has wormed her way into his mind and it seems his heart but he has no idea what to do with that. Somehow she comforts him and eases all the troubles he struggles with.

Will the past their families share be something they can get over or will it break them apart.

'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right. Only, Aspen doesn't feel like an enemy. She feels like... home.'

Happy Reading.

This gave me serious enemies to lovers romance vibes. I loved how both main characters met, and the tension between them at first but then it became a heated tension when the male finally realised that the female was meant to be his "one" I loved how protective the male became when the female was in danger and how he was there for her when she needed him (and when she didn't know she needed him) and then also how she knew that he needed her. This was a sweet but hot romance that had all the feels. The author did an amazing job at dealing with the issues both main characters had, the females family history and her mothers depression over her father and the males trauma from his time in the military and also the distance between him and his parents, she allowed them to still be sensitive but also brave enough to still live their new lives. I really enjoyed the rivalry between their ancestors and how it made them react to each other at first, with him almost holding a grudge and even though she was aware of their families rivalry she decided that she wasn't going to be like her family and slowly her sweetness melted him until he forgot about it too and then instead of spending his time resisting her, he decided to go all in and became very protective and showed his true alpha side. I really enjoyed watching their romance come alive on the pages and I was very happy with their happy ending and I wanted even more epilogues!!!

This book is a part of the SEAL Team Romeo series and focuses on Emmitt and Aspen. Emmitt and Aspen grew up on neighboring ranches that had a huge rivalry for many decades, mostly stemming from property lines. After the death of both his parents, Emmitt didn’t know what he wanted to do with the land so he just had it sit for a couple of years until he could figure it out. When he comes home to try and make some plans for the land, he meets Aspen. He is immediately knocked off his feet by his reaction to her but he is still holding on to the rivalry and is suspicious of her and all of her actions. Aspen is just trying to make it through each day taking care of the ranch after the way her dad up and left his whole family behind for someone else and trying to help her mom deal with her depression. She doesn’t care about the rivalry and never had. They both fall hard for each other but they do have old insecurities pop up and threaten to destroy what they had built. This was a great story and a great addition to this series!

°Virgin heroine
°H celibate for almost a decade
°Dual POV
°Insta love/lust
°He's 34, she's 20
°No OW drama
°Unwanted attention from OM
°Alpha hero
°I found the heroine immature and very annoying
°There was a scene that I didn't like (it's a pet peeve of mine so I'm sure it won't bother anyone else but I'm still going to mention it) the h went to the H's house and when he opened the door she let herself in and started cooking for him, who tf does that? who enters a house without being invited? and she did that the day after meeting him, she didn't even know if he was single! -he obviously was but that's not the point- I hate heroines who act overfamiliar, it's not cute, the H even thought "I should find it annoying and intrusive" well, he didn't but I did
°Least favorite line: "I press her legs wide open for me again and stare at the most perfect, juicy c*nt I've ever tasted", hell will freeze over before Cameron Hart stops writing stupid useless comparisons between the h and OW 😒
°No cheating or scenes with OP
°Epilogue: around 10 years later -married with 2 kids

Another excellent read by Cameron Hart 👏 ! Emmitt Hunter is on leave from the SEALs and returns home to his family ranch in Texas, he inherited from his parents when they passed away. He has to decide if it's worth it to get it running again. Aspen Southerland left college to return to her family ranch to help her mother when her father runs off to L.A. The day Emmitt arrives at the ranch he find Aspen looking for her escaped horse. They are attracted to each other right away but the Hunter family and the Southerland family have been feuding for years. Aspen makes dinner and takes it over to Emmitt's to thank him for his help with her escaped horse. Aspen doesn't care about the feud but Emmitt thinks she came over to find out information to take over his family ranch. The next day Emmitt catches a ranch hand getting physical with Aspen and he steps in to save her. That's when things change between the two. After some secrets are revealed and some mending the two get their HEA. Definitely read this if you are in the mood for a light easy read with ❤.

Emmet returns home to find a woman checking out his land. Now, this would be concerning no matter who it was, but when it was Aspen Southerland? Not okay. After all, her family has been trying to get his family’s land for, well forever it seems. So, Emmet decides that the best thing to do is to find out any and everything about Aspen. But the more he learns about Aspen and the more time he spends near her (with and without her knowledge 😉), the more he realizes that there might be more to his obsession than just keeping his land out of the Southerland’s hands.

Goodness do I love me an age-gap! Especially when it comes from the mind of Cameron Hart. This story was cute, funny, and hot! The chemistry between Emmet and Aspen was amazing and Emmet’s little stalking habit? Just makes him all the hotter to me. Seriously, give this one a read!

Cameron Hart joins the cool new multi-author SEAL Team Romeo series with the sexy Crossing Enemy Lines. An enemies-to-lovers romance, Emmitt and Aspen's families have been at odds for years, feuding over property lines that separate their ranches. When SEAL Emmitt returns to the ranch years after his parents' deaths, trying to figure out what to do with it, he encounters the young, curvy Aspen, who has been running her family ranch since her father took off over a year ago. Initially still embroiled in the feud, Emmitt is not overly friendly with the gorgeous Aspen - but before long, the sparks between them are catch fire and both find themselves crossing enemy lines.

A high heat, entertaining, swoon-worthy romance that is a wonderful addition to this awesome new series!

Absolutely loved this story! Emmitt was on leave from the military and went home to his family ranch to decide what to do with it now his parents had passed away. He literally runs in to Apsen on his first day. It’s love at first sight but she is a Southerland and their families had been enemies for hundreds of years. Aspen didn’t care about family feuds, she just wanted Emmitt. Emmitt watches Aspen, protects her and loves her. He convinces himself he stalking her for her own protection. Their chemistry is explosive and their love true and deep. When his stalking and her fathers actions come out into the open harsh words are said and mistakes made. Emmitt won’t give Aspen up so easily, he is determined to make her his forever. Wonderfully written romance with a fantastic HEA.

Crossing Enemy Lines is a unique twist of enemies to lover take where the feud is generations.

Emmitt has retired from the SEALS and has returned to home he never wanted but could never give it away. With the family ranch suffering he needs to turn it around, he also wondered about the family next door.

Aspen grew up on the ranch, when she went away to college her father moves to LA and left her mother with everything hanging on by a thread. When her horse gets out, she finds him with a handsome man she has never seen before.

I love the tension between Emmitt and Aspen - the old family feud, the heat and passionate chemistry, the secrets and needs that will singe your fingers with each turn of the pages. Their story takes turn that I was not expecting and wrapped around my heart.

Returning to your roots may lead to love.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable and sweet. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Eric deserved what he got and then some. I really wanted some kind of comeuppance for Aspen’s dad but oh well. Emmitt wasn’t prepared for the feelings his return home would bring, let alone his reaction to Aspen. Aspen was a bit stunned by the way she felt when she ran into Emmitt. Both of them had a lot going on in their lives but that didn’t stand in their way (too much!). The way that they were able to comfort each other was very touching. I loved their happily ever after and I recommend reading this book.

That was a good, fast read! We get a grumpy alpha male that is damaged from his time in the military (SEAL) he meets his cute and quirky neighbor the day he returns home. There is an instant connection. These two were so good together! Emmitt was super sweet and protective toward Aspen. Aspen is working hard to keep the ranch going and she is very caring toward the people she cares about. There were some hot smut scenes, a little bit of drama and plenty of sweet moments.

Safety: safe. No OW drama (H celibate for almost a decade, h is a virgin), no OM drama. No cheating. Slight physical abuse (but H safes h before it goes to far), PTSD mentioned and on page. Mentions depression.

scorching Hot 🔥🔥🔥

This is the second consecutive Cameron Hart book in which she has written my most favorite type of Hero.
Grumpy ✔️
(Slightly) Damaged ✔️
Military Hero ✔️
Protective, Obsessed, Infatuated ✔️✔️✔️

Emmitt was all of these and more and I adored him because he fell in instalove for Aspen, his bright, sunshiny girl next door.
This couple made magic together with their opposites-attract, white-hot chemistry and dealing with their families’ awkward hatred for one another.

Definitely a must-read!

I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. Emmitt Hunter returns on home on leave from the Seals to decide the fate of his family ranch. The Hunters and the Southerlands have had a longstanding feud over the land, so when Aspen Southerland shows up Emmitt is immediately on guard regarding his family's home. What he should have been guardian was his heart. Aspen is fiery redhead with the weight of the world on her young shoulders. She wants to trust the chiseled beast that is Emmitt, but he needs to get over the stupid feud of the past. Secrets come close to tearing these two apart, but true love always gets its happily ever after.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I really enjoyed Emmitt and Aspen's love story. Their families always had issues with each other and it seems that it's continuing to their generation also. He and Aspen both have to make some decisions about the their futures. When they meet up there is no stopping the attraction between them. Emmett will realize that Aspen deserves his trust but he fights it. She doesn't care about the fued but she does about him. Their story is sweet with some drama and plenty of heat.

Emmett and his family have loved next to the Southerland all his life. During the ti.e his father was alive they're was a fied over property lines. When he comes home on leave he discovers the daughter snooping along the lines. What is she hp to? He begins obsessing over her and her actions. His obsession turns into need and before you know it their attraction for each other takes over. What will happen? Is the rivalry still front and center or will they be able to come to a truce? Intriguing enemy to lovers story.

Emmitt heads back to the family ranch while on leave from the Seals to decide what to do with the ranch when he spies Aspen checking out the property and the stalking begins. Aspen and Emmitt's families have been feuding for years so stalking her is okay because he needs to know what the enemy is doing right? This is a fun, unique storyline with likable characters and a steamy love story. I loved the way the author brought Emmitt and Aspen together. The writing is well done and the ending is perfect. Crossing Enemy Lines is part of the multi-author SEAL Team Romeo series and so far I am loving all of the books in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Long standing rivalry
Emmett returns to his home after many years. He is recovering from injuries endured as a Seal, physical and mental hurt. His homestead has been neglected but he refuses to sell. His first encounter with Aspen is due to her horse trampling over the fence dividing their properties and the neighbouring family is the land stealing scheming enemy.
Each need help in their own way and they are both troubled but the attraction is undeniable. She is kind and soothing, habits protective and wary. They compliment each other and putting the past behind them is the beginning for them together.

I liked this one. I don't really think it was a stalker romance. Aspen was my favorite, Emmitt had to grow on me. I think he was gruff and struggling with his feelings for Aspen. Their family has been feuding for a long time and his feelings were colored by that when they met. She was a little more open and dismissive of the feud. She was struggling to take care of the ranch and her mother, he comes home to figure out what to do with his family ranch but ultimately they realize they need each other.

This book was so exciting! I loved Emmit and Aspen. Emmit was a SEAL, but due to injuries, ends up at the family ranch. He comes home to a snooping neighbor! There is bad blood between the neighbors, but Aspen is hard for him to resist. Emmit memorizes Aspen’s schedule to be sure to watch and talk with her.
Will the feud end with them? Cameron Hart has a unique talent that I’m so glad she has chosen to share with us! This series shows some serious potential as a MUST READ!!!.

Another good love story in this series

Enjoyed reading the love story between Emmitt and Aspen, it was kind of like the Hatfields and McCoys. Their ranches are next to each other, throughout the generations they have fought property line issues. Emmitt could careless, he left and became a Seal returning home after an injury. His parents were gone, the ranch was his. He meets Aspen and knows his life has changed. They both have things that should be said but find out the wrong way. This creates problems. Read what they go through,it's a good story. Written by Cindy :)

A fun, sweet, hot, steam story between Aspen and Emitt. Emitt is back home, on the family ranch, on leave from the military. After seeing Aspen again he is instantly in love with Aspen. They don't care about the feud between their families that's been going on for years. Their chemistry is so very hot. When your heart finds it's soulmate it doesn't care about feuds. I love the story and the epilogue just adds to the book.

Aspen and Emmit

Emmit is home after years away in the navy. His father never understood why he preferred to be a SEAL instead of staying and work the land as all the previous ancestors. The last thing he expected was to find the most beautiful woman trespassing on his land or that she was his family rival gor generations. Those two were so cute and sweet. When Emmit lashout after finding out something about her family he was definitely out of line but the way he begged and gravelled was so heartwarming. Highly recommended

Emmit comes home to the family ranch to find Aspen on his property, she comes from the ranch next door and her family have been after his land for years. Aspens home life has been tough of late when her father upt and left. Emmit convinces himself stalking her is purely to find out what's she's doing but he finds a hard working, lonely soul, kindred to his own. But do old rivalries die hard? Well written steamy short navey SEAL, rancher romance, with hot scenes, protective H and more!

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was a great instalove enemies to lovers romance. I loved Emmitt, he was just my favorite kind of hero, gruff, possessive and a little bit flawed. The chemistry between him and Aspen was amazing and I loved how they just couldn’t stay way from each other. The storyline was entertaining and I couldn’t put it down.

Emmit and Aspen.
Grumpy and sunshine.
Age gap.
Well, our military man is a little paranoid and standoffish, but our lady can bring him to the right side of the path to happiness. And I absolutely love the way they are together, so compasive, so thoughtful, so utterly loved.
