The Collector’s Office is responsible for collecting monies due to the city including but not limited to Real Estate Tax, Personal Property Tax, Motor Vehicle Excise Tax, Boat Excise Tax, Parking Ticket Fines, Water and Sewer Bills, Trash Bills, and Passports. Parking Ticket Appeals are now handled by the Parking Department. Appeals must be sent in by email within 21 days of the date of the ticket to TicketHearings@salem.com
