This vineyard, Landry Vineyards LLC, is an excellent choice for accommodation. The entrance is easily accessible for large vehicles and can be missed if one isn't paying attention. Staying overnight was pleasant as the option to use a generator instead of hookups was available and accepted by the staff. The wine tasting experience was enjoyable, with a particular recommendation for their exceptional Zinfandel. Sitting outside and admiring the sunset while overlooking the vineyards added to the overall charm of this place.

Great Harvest Host visit at Landry's.What a beautiful property and the building is set up fantastic for tastings or enjoying a glass of your favorite Landry's wine.Jennalee did a fantastic job with the tasting and knows the wine detail backwards and forwards.Great place to stop for a Harvest Host visit or a glass (or bottle) of wine.

Hey All We arrived at the Landry Vineyards LLC for the love run walk in Louisiana. Very well organized they had plenty of parking even though it was a rainy morning it turned out to be a beautiful day got started with the walk run the rain kind of slowed down the cloud parted and turned out to be a wonderful day lotta participation from various people the sheriff are the state patrol showed up to help guide traffic and help people across the street which I thought was very helpful. They did a very fine job, and after the race everybody received a glass of wine to sample they do have bed-and-breakfast facilities there you can rent them. I don’t know the prices, but that they are very nice. We will be coming back next year.

This was a great place to stay. Entrance comes quick when you driving a big rig and not paying attention. lol. It was nice to stay overnight. We didn’t do hookups so we ran generator and they were fine with that. (not all night we ran a fan inside rig). We went in for wine tasting and purchased a few bottles. They have a great Zinfandel. MUST HAVE. We sat outside and watched the sun come down while checking out the vineyards. Highly recommend this place if your in the area and if not , make a trip to the area. Its a worthwhile venture.

Beautiful Vineyard and friendly staff! We are visiting from Canada and came here for the vineyard tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned a lot. Wine tasting was only $5 for 6 different wines. The staff was very knowledgeable and explained each one in detail. Would highly recommend taking time to see this place. Thanks for everything!!Rick & Katelyn Buhler

Hello, we thought we did a review. Sorry about that! Anyway, we absolutely loved our stay at Landry Vineyards as HH members. The wines, views, the quiet, and darkness and the friendly staff. Sites are large and leveled, easy access into the vineyard. We met another couple who were HH members and shared some wine together. We definitely will be back some day.

Beautiful property and winery. We opted to buy a couple bottles. One Rose and one Sweet Red. The Rose was not the best I’ve ever had but it was still good. The vineyards are beautiful and well taken care of.

We came to Landry through Harvest Host and utilized the full hookups and was very pleased with it. We have a 40ft motorhome and was able to park it with zero issues. My wife loved the wine and my son loved the big field around the full hookup area. It looked like alot of room on the dry hookup area also. Will go back when passing through. Scenery was beautiful.

WOW! What an amazing stay here in one of the cabins. We enjoyed our stay here. The young lady at the tasting room was very knowledgeable on every wine we tasted (like all of them) from where the grapes came from to how they were grown and all. This was my first get away after losing my mom. She always wanted to go here but we never made it. It was well needed. Didn't get to meet Jeff nor Libby but my brother and sister went to school with them. Maybe next time. Thanks Landrys for an all around wonderful experience.

We found out about Landry Vineyard's through out Harvest Host membership spending the night overlooking the beautiful vineyard from our trailer. We really enjoyed our visit, tasting a wine varietal we had never heard of before. We had a lot of fun tasting new wines and came away with several bottles to enjoy on our trip. The server was knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly. The server was knowledgeable and friendly.

Beautiful vineyard setting. Lovely staff. Many wines to taste, so lots of options. I didn’t find a wine that I enjoyed enough to buy but that is just personal taste. I would recommend checking this spot out if you like to go to different vineyards.

This locally-owned museum dedicated to Bonnie & Clyde features exhibits & artifacts.

LOTS of stuff to see and read and a small gift shop. Museum was Cafe where Bonnie and Clyde ate their last meal. Ambush site is 7 miles up the road. There are 2 markers at the spot. If you go stay on Hwy 154 so make sure and turn right at the light about 2.5 from the museum. The marker is another 5 Mike's or so. It's worth a look!

Jim S — Google review

It's neat enough I guess if you are a fan but don't expect some nice museum. It's quite the old & musty smelling place. Lots of artifacts and articles to rummage through. In tired of it quite quickly but my wife enjoyed it.

Samuel P — Google review

Interesting. I've always been fascinated by this infamous couple and thought I knew a lot about them. However, I learned so much more. Worth the visit.

Maria G — Google review

It's been my bfs dream to go to this museum!! We were greeted by a furry doorbell that barked upon our arrival plus a sassy feline decoration that followed us throughout the entryway. When you first walk in its an extensive gift shop. It costs $7 for adults and obviously is not kid friendly since there was blood crimes and murder involved. You would have to call to see what she is allowed did see a teenager there. The museum is decent sized plus has a documentary about the crime spree and capture all throughout. Tons of newspaper clippings, the ACTUAL car that was shot, the museum is the place they ate at before getting shot 10 minutes later. Definitely worth a look!! You can see a sign right from Highway 20 its worth every penny for somebody into crime!

The owner of Bonnie and cCyde Ambush Museum , Perry Carver, was awesome, and we enjoyed talking to him. Thank you, MR. Carver. If you haven't been, it is a must-see. We enjoyed learning things we never knew about Bonnie and Clyde and also facts and artifacts on some of the most notorious gangsters as well. Nice gift shop as well. We will be going back cause we want to eat at the cafe where they brought their last meal. It is all in one place. Look at more of the artifacts and drive down the road to where they were ambushed. We had to get to the doctor's appointment. So take a drive, you won't be disappointed and learn some history as well.

Pen H — Google review

Very informative museum depicting accurate and objective historical documents such as articles, descriptions and reading materials for the visitors. I was impressed as I did don think the museum would have such a large collection.

Mark T — Google review

Small town atmosphere very nice very laid-back. Museum was very interesting, lot to see lot to learn just being able to see the car makes it worth the trip!

Jim J — Google review

Cool little museum with lots of pictures, newspaper clippings and reproduction memorabilia with a few actual artifacts. There is also a 12 minute looping video to watch. The actual ambush site with memorial is 7.5 miles away, which they will be happy to give directions to. All in all an interesting stop.

Russell T — Google review

It's a great historic spot to visit, less than two miles from I-20. A lot of posters and news items about two people who victims of their own violent reputation. The actual ambush site is located about eight miles from the museum. Many of the items on display in the museum, like the bullet-ridden car the pair were in when they were ambushed by the law, are graphic and bloody. Discretion is advised.

Randy M — Google review

Interesting information, lots of memorabilia. There is a lot of redundant info throughout the museum tho.

Dave P — Google review

Def worth visiting if passing through or a diehard fan. They have just about everything to offer for a neat site.

Patrick L — Google review

Lot's of stuff from those days. Newspaper and police reports.Types of weapons used by the outlaws and law enforcement.Worth the visit.

Randy D — Google review

Very pricey and more of a roadside attraction . They have a few interesting items, and everything else just feels like a bunch of items that have the names of Bonnie and Clyde and thrown in cases. It smelt like cigarettes inside and I’m not sure because the owner smokes in there or if it’s just attached to the walls. If you’re looking for a roadside attraction then this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a museum with quality exhibits then skip this and save your money. On a side note, the staff are very friendly and kind. They also have a sandwich joint attached to the building in case you get hungry. Food options in the area are very limited.

Jason B — Google review

Amazing! There is so much stuff there to see.

Lea B — Google review

Site where Bonnie and Clyde ate their last meal and is a little museum now. Owner is nice and the museum cat follows you around. Only cost $8 to walk thru and has a little gift shop. The actual car is not in there but they do have a replica.

Diane R — Google review

Real interesting place. The curator’s passion for Bonnie & Clyde knowledge and truth was amazing. He shared so much extra information with us. We learned a great deal and very much enjoyed it all!

Horse Tracks

The casino Louisiana Downs is a popular horse racing track and casino in Bossier City, Louisiana. With 1,300 slot machines placed throughout the facility, it is one of the most popular places to gamble in the area. The Casino also features a restaurant and bar as well as free co*cktails and coffee for visitors.

I've been going to the Downs for 5 or more Summers now, I really enjoy it and can hit about every race now too. It does not take long to figure out how to bet, when and on what horse! Try it out, you won't be sorry. There are a wide selection of eateries as well beer and mixed drinks at the bars too. Enjoy!

Deneen F — Google review

Casinos are not my thing but the horse racing section was cool to look at. Heavy smell of cigarettes, even when going very early and not many people there, if they had a no smoking gaming section I might have stayed longer but after 30 minutes the smell was killing me :-(

Dad O — Google review

This casino's business model is clear, Pay absolutely nothing out at all costs, That explains why on a Friday night they have 50 people playing. I was told it was a "busy" night 🤣😅 Save your money go on to far nicer casinos just to the west. To the "New" owners (So they said) loosen up your machines , people who can at least play for a while have fun and comeback.

Donnie G — Google review

Their new restaurant, The Inside Rail, was very good. The 'Touchdown Platter' appetizer was 9 out of 10 only because the meat pies were more on the bland side. The boudin egg rolls were good, and the chicken tenders were amazing and seasoned to perfection! Of course, one has to try the wings, so we ordered the sweet and sour wings. The sauce was really good. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was good, but I would get extra sauce next time. The burger was good as well. For dessert, I opted for the bread pudding, something I don't normally eat, but it was really good as I ate half of it, lol. Overall, I will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu. I had a gift certificate for my birthday and spent every penny of the $75.

Christina H — Google review

They really don't have enough help to keep the place clean the machines were dirty and the bathrooms were dirty you really couldn't win much on the machines at the low side of the betting play. I did see some folk win. But there no food court at night after 11pm and drinks are hard to get. But I had a good time

Pat E — Google review

Very beautiful horse racing track it was my first time attending Louisiana Downs very Beautiful Inside and no shortage of Automatic betting machine's..

Kenneth K — Google review

Racing is fun. Drinks are cheap. It's never too packed. Food is great for the price. Best to go on smaller race days...easier to hit the triffectas. Payout is smaller but you won't leave broke. Easy to get in and out. Parking is well laid out. Customer service is A1. Gambling at casino is not worth it unless you're playing with a good bankroll. Good luck and enjoy your day!

David J — Google review

Was here for the Red River Balloon Rally 2023, very nice venue. Had alot of fun.

Lisa M — Google review

This place was amazing 👏 We had a blast. The Restaurant and Bar were exceptional. The slots were fun. Will definitely be back again!

Betsy R — Google review

This place is horrible, the comps are next to none, they don't have a bar, they hardly have any one serving drinks, you might as well throw you money in the trash can if you decide to gamble here. And to top it off they closed the truck parking, which is a very big no no ,truck drivers are the backbone of America why would you not offer them a place to rest and maybe have a little fun. I don't advise anyone to go here, it would be best to let this place die away,IT,,,IS,,,,HORRIBLE.

Jarrious C — Google review

We had a fantastic day at the races. This was the first time for my wife & daughter @ Louisiana Downs. I had visited about 2 years ago & talk about upgrades! I love that Fudrucker's is still alive and well inside & of course they added a casino. We came for the exotic animal races - a Memorial Day weekend tradition. Great fun and we even won a little.

Jody W — Google review

Nice but not enough action. It was dead. But the waitress was great. The cleaning staff was very nice. The restroom was clean and smelled good.

Bridget M — Google review

Went in to play a few slots, watch some football, eat, and drink some beers. Well the slots went OK but the machine that cashes your ticket out doesn't dispense coins, that's old fashioned. Sat down at the sportsbar. Cassandra brought me a beer and a menu. Football starts and I can view 8 televisions so I should have many game options. Nope! They only have 1 game available to watch. I was shocked. This place is a casino, horse racing track, a sportsbook, but they only have access to 1 football game. Unbelievable! Ordered food which was alright. Cassandra was awesome but the management needs to figure things out.

Mark S — Google review

Food options are minimal, prices were decent, restrooms were in disarray to put it kindly. But track and ease of betting earned it some points. March 8 during the Futurity Trails. first floor entrance RR and second Floor stands RR.

Gantz — Google review

Enjoy watching the races. Would be better if there were more horses competing. At times there have been only 5 or 6. In the past there has been more live entertainment on weekends. Also. LAD had fireworks for New Years and the 4th of July. These have been abandoned. They are under new management and they have plans to add more services that will improve the experience

Bill S — Google review

This casino is a slum . Service is a joke . Machines are always broken. Food is so low quality but at 5star prices. Spend thousands a week but never receive any promotions . They give free coffee as your reward but coffee shop is never opened. It's not safe shady looking men will follow you to every machine and security does not care to ask them to leave clearly they aren't playing. They have one co*cktail server on weekends cash machines are always out of cash. The employees are beyond rude. Not all some are great. The owner is a slumlord because he won't try to improve this casino. He took a decent place an made it a trashy lowgrade unsafe casino. Security is geriatric some use actual walkers . Stay away from here at night It's not worth being followed by schetchy people . Should be a law that police have to be employed at casino at night .I've been gambling there for many many years . And your casino doesn't give anyone anything no freeplay but maybe 2-4 times a month if you're lucky an then it's 5 bucks. I play highlimits 10 a spin most times . I never get anything from casino so I don't bother with a card anymore it's not worth using it anymore. Food is a joke I watched them throw a customers foor back in fried after customer had it at table health hazard 100%. Employees most are unfriendly, just rude. I know and have good relationships with the friendly ones. Bathroom attendees are hiding in there on phone and bathrooms are out of paper ,dirty sad.and the shady men following women around never playing any machine . Waiting to snatch something. Heck 2 security bosses are amazing one is the lady who has since been changed back to her normal shift. And the man who's been security at casinos since day one in 94 /96 . Small Frame always saying hello helping customers . The rest are a joke pretty much. So don't blow smoke . You don't give 2 cents about casino you've been there what 3 maybe 4 times only because gaming board had issues. You play no music it's quiet people want music fun, energy being a dealer since 96 customers want friendly service. They are giving hard earned money and want to be treated like they pay your bills . After all they do to a point. Comp your loyal customers. And when u have drawings it's always the people who don't gamble just drink an wait to win drawing and it's always one not the actual gamblers . We go to a good casino now where they show thanks

The Horseshoe Bossier City hotel is one of three casino resorts on the Bossier City Riverfront. The property offers a range of dining options and an outdoor pool club.

Great experience. Had a blast with my wife. Got a room and spent the night enjoying all the amenities they had to offer. From the table games to the video poker. The restaurant that offered a variety of food to quench any appetite. To the comfortable sleeping arrangements and the above and beyond customer service. As for this parishioners opinion five out of five stars. I will be there again......

I stayed for my Birthday Weekend. I know nothing is free, buttt I didn’t receive anything complimentary what so ever. Since it was a weekend, the room was over 200$ for one night. Their was a fake eyelash just laying in the open, like come on, they HAD to see that if they Actually cleaned it. The ladies serving drinks were so rude. Me being the kind of person I am, I always tip. One lady even poked a whole in the bottom of my cup, and it leaked All over me. The only people at the Hotel/Casino were pretty much the cleaning people. They were so nice, and friendly, very helpful when I did need something brought to my Room!!! The lady that checks your ID at the Casino Entrance, is the Rudest of them All!!! I honestly will never be back there because of her look and attitude. It cost nothing to smile and be nice. So yeah they need help here!

Sarah W — Google review

The first thing we encountered when pulling up to the Valet area was an overflowing trash can with trash on the ground beside it. Not a great first impression.Check in was good but it took them 3 tries (with me going up to the room and back down) to get my key cards correct. Our room was fine - just dated. Could use some upgrading. The gaming floor was O.K., beverage service was slow because they are understaffed. There were a lot of people sitting in the chairs in front of slot machines not gambling. Just taking up space.Lots of newer slot machines - we actually came home with money. The broken escalators put a strain on the one elevator. The band playing Saturday night, The Crowd, was fantastic. All in all, a great trip.

I wish 0 stars was an option… considering we weren’t even able to stay here! We were basically kicked out with NO HELP & blatant disrespect from the front desk guy. It was 1AM and the room was paid for in advance over the phone with the reservations department. The lady told us there would be a hold on the card we used to pay, but never once mentioned that we would need to present this card at check in with an ID that matches & that person had to physically be there. My husband and I are aware of protocols, however, we were using my mom’s card for our hotel & we did have a picture of her ID. It would’ve been nice if we were told this before we drove 7 hrs to stay here. It also would’ve been nice if the guy at the front desk could’ve offered us options and helped us out, but we were given absolutely no information. We had to ask him if we were going to be refunded and his response was “Yep”. ABSOLUTELY no respect. We had to continue driving an hour to a hotel in TX, while exhausted from driving all day. The hotel in TX saved us and went above and beyond to offer ways for my mom to send in a credit card authorization form + a picture of her ID. It was as simple as that. I guess everything really is bigger + better in TX… employee’s respect toward customers + going above and beyond to help others out goes a long way! I DON’T RECOMMEND HORSESHOE HOTEL AT ALL!!

Taylor T — Google review

The hotel room was nice. We got a complimentary upgrade to a suite when we checked-in. All of the staff we talked with were extremely friendly. There is a pizza place that has the best brick oven pizza. The slot machines don't pay out if you are looking to win. We ended up going to another casino to play and won money there. It is a nice hotel but next time I will be staying at a different casino, so I can experience all of them in that area.

Molly B — Google review

I was impressed. The casino was immaculate, the drinks (alcohol included) were free, the restaurants were awesome, the rooms were impeccable!! I can't believe how nice it was. My stay at the Horseshoe felt GRAND! The decor in this place is impressive! A beautiful experience! Will definitely be back!

A real mix. Rooms are very tired. Steakhouse is exceptional. Seafood restaurant is unforgivably bad serving raw or overcooked but never right. Cooks are rude. Ashley is the one shining star. Customer facing employees like dealers and front desk staff are loud, dismissive, rude, and inattentive but cleaning and security staff are very nice. Overall it's not worth visiting if you have other options. And let's not talk about the daily resort fee. For what?? This isn't a resort by any stretch and what they do have you must pay for, so again, for what?

Allan L — Google review

Roulette dealer Carla knows how to ruin the fun. We correct her because she pulls our winning bet off the table we correct her and she said I know. If you knew why did you remove it. But then they change the limit higher and doesn’t say anything and takes the bet away after it wins rather than let us know before spinning that it doesn’t meet the table min. Other than this great trip. Byron was a good dealer and enjoyable. There were others too just had a good time on his blackjack table, even with craps. Rooms are nice and big just need to be renovated. Big fridge and like all caesars lacking with towels.Update: gaming manager reached out and spoke to me about this trip. He was nice and helpful. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.

I went here New Years Eve. I had a BBQ pork grilled cheese sandwich with fries and a couple of Bud Lights at the grill and bar across the corridor from the noodle place. It was spectacular! And the waitress was very nice and took great care of me. I left her a big tip and then went straight to the casino! I wandered around for about an hour before landing at a high card flush table. I was new to this game, but it was very easy to learn. After a couple of hours of playing the dealer dealt me a hand of 6 clubs out of the 7 cards I was dealt! That landed me $550!! Later in the evening I found a $1 slot machine i wanted to try. And BAM!! Another $180!! I walked out of the Horseshoe that night with a little over $700!! Happy New Years To Me!!

Place was really clean and smelt good. The rooms were better than expected. Even the hallways to the rooms were nice. The casino was pretty good. Our dealer Timothy was the best! Hands down!! If you have a chance please eat at binon's steakhouse. That place is so freaking good. Little expensive, but well worth it.

Southern M — Google review

As someone from the Shreveport-Bossier area I’ve always heard this place was really nice, but I am so disappointed after my stay. The hotel part has definitely gone downhill. The casino part itself is nice and fun with lots of drinks and also restaurants, but the rooms were so bad. They were just gross. The carpet was so sticky in some spots that our shoes would get stuck. There were crumbs and items from the last guests left on the floor. The bathtub was huge and looked so nice.. but had yellow gunk on the rim. It wasn’t staining, it was some sticky liquid that I could wipe off that they obviously didn’t clean. I’ve stayed in beaten up motels off the interstate that had better standards of cleaning than this place. Not worth the price and I would not pay for lodging here again.

Pj H — Google review

Trailer park clientele with chandeliers and marble floors ambience. If you like the smell of cigarette smoke and lukewarm showers, you’ll love the room accommodations. “Round the clock Complimentary” valet provided, unfortunately, I don’t have any compliments there either, due to the fact I had a 7am flight and there was no service at 5:30am, bc the valet slept in…or something. We won’t be returning.

Come in to cool off and play. Played $200 in an hour. Had to chase wait staff around to get a drink. Out of 4 waitress on the 3rd and 1st floor. They were extremely rude. I'll take my money to a bar and get more for it. And I was tipping $4. It was an act of congress to get even 2 drinks. Standing at ATM going to play some more. When the 3rd waitress was extremely rude again and I just left. Thank you for saving me more money

Still no buffets in casinos here, dang! However, this casino is amazing! We had actually booked our room at Margaritaville for Thanksgiving for 3 nights. What a mistake. We ended up coming here during the day. Horseshoe has great morale, and great music! You can feel a difference in the air. Slots were great. They had 3 floors of slots. A real bar, and great restaurants. I’d recommend this for visitors for sure.

Kendra P — Google review

For our very first, and fortunately for us, our last stay at this location, our visit was all but pathetic from start to finish. Upon arrival, our reservation was not shown in the system. We were told that we had to show a confirmation. We showed it and were given a room. We parked in the parking garage and carried and pulled all of our items to the elevator. We were informed that there were no carts for people to use for luggage. Immediately upon arriving at the elevator, we were overwhelmed with the odor of marijuana. We went up to our room and were met with a slightly run down appearance of a room. We then noticed no microwave and no coffee pot and a refrigerator that wasn’t working. Maintenance came and fixed the refrigerator. We unpacked and went to the elevator and again was overwhelmed with the odor of marijuana. We went to the casino and was met with several individuals that appeared to not want to be there. The first was the bartender on the second level. I walked up and was looking around. He and four other coworkers were talking and cutting up. I was asked “is there something you need?” I asked if there was anything frozen. He said “it’s right here” and pointed at the daiquiri machine. I asked if I could have a daiquiri. Without another word, he made one pushed it toward me and turned around and walked away and started talking with the co workers again. We went to play on the machines. We played for over an hour and a half and no one walked around to serve any drinks. The server was one of those at the the bar talking. I went back and asked if I could get another drink. The bartender once again acted as if I was bothering him, stated “no, you need to wait and get served at the machine.” I told him no one was coming and he said “you need to wait.” I walked away. I asked to speak to the supervisor and told her about what was going on. She said she was sorry about what was happening and would have to look at the cameras to confirm my story. After playing, we went back to the elevator and once again was overwhelmed with the odor of marijuana. Every single time during our stay, the elevators and immediate areas smelled very strongly of marijuana. Very sickening. Not once, not twice but every single time. Staff cared less about it as we told them and they said they knew and we were told that nothing could be done. I advised that it was nauseating smelling it. We were told to pick different elevator cars if it bothered us too much. We were here for three days and experienced issues everyday. On top of the ridiculous cost for what you get for staying here, they tack on a $20 per day resort fee. A WHAT? FOR WHAT? Never again will we stay at this location. It did not live up to the name it carries. It was bad!

Be careful they will double charge, and say they don't see the charge, but I just got off the phone with my bank and they have charged $530 extra (i had 2 separate charges). And can't get ahold of anyone who can fix it.Other than spending $1,169 for 3 nights and a scooter rental. It was great. I hope we can get our money back.

We stayed here two separate times. Affordable rooms, free drinks as long as you gambling, parking is convenient. We enjoyed the 8oz burger restaurant. Fried green tomatoes were delicious. Hotel has all the amenities. Highly recommend anyone traveling through to visit here.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Horseshoe last night for our three year anniversary! We had the most amazing night! Our room was perfect and our view was beautiful. Our bed was comfortable, though we weren’t in the room long. The bath tub was huge and the water was nice and hot. We also loved the casino! We spent almost all night down there. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and helpful(staff and guests)! Thank y’all for the absolute wonderful stay! We can’t wait to come back!!

It's sad when you can visually see the effects of the pandemic even in December of 2022 stores closed, venues not being used. This place should be hopping with liveliness and excitement. I hope you make a comeback. If the machines and tables are full with players then the other parts should have exude the appeal

The room was spacious, and the tub was huge! The water pressure was great! Our room was clean and in good repair. My only complaint was that you could only add two devices to the wifi and the wifi was just so-so. One of the best rooms I've stayed in at this price point.

On the plus side most of the staff are as friendly as ever. However, the accommodations and amenities have gone downhill over the last many years that I have been visiting this place. Although Covid restrictions are long gone in most sane places, the toll it has taken on this establishment are long lasting. Coffee machines in rooms are still absent and rooms no longer receive maid service every day. The buffet is long gone. And many restaurants are only open on Friday and Saturday. In the rooms stains accumulate and age has taken its toll. The slot machines don't seem to be changed out as much, many of the buttons don't work and their variety has been reduced. And to top it off I and others have noticed that the slots aren't as loose as they used to be. A lot of the enjoyment is lost with play after play with no payout at all, fewer bonuses and free spins and smaller payouts on the infrequent bonuses/free spins.

My stay was horrible. I did not even stay the whole night. Rooms are dated and there is a stale smell in the hallway and rooms. The bathrooms shower was not clean. Asked for another room. Tub had hair in it.Used to stay here years ago and it was a beautiful upscale Caesar's property. Now, looks like a ghost town.

We arrived around 10pm and went to the Casino. The service was absolutely the worst! We tipped our bar girl 20.00 twice and we got 5 beers and she disappeared. When I one a jackpot it took 30 minutes for someone to come take care of me. We then went to get a room and the lady at the desk was RUDE!! We explained our situation with the casino and she told us it was not her problem and we would have to take it up with the casino manager. We get to our room and hear water running and it was the toilet. We had to fix it ourselves. Also the bathroom floor was sticky and the cabinet had not been cleaned! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Entire hotel smells like a mix of cigar and weed smoke. Even a non-smoking room smells of smoke bad. Room was not clean. Hair all over the floor and in shower. Simply a nasty place to stay. Never again for me. 🤮

All I can say is, I used to love this Hotel and casino. It used to be the Gold standard when it came to guest service and quality. Especially when it came to cleanliness of rooms. The room was dusty, the water bucket smelled like old beer and it was wet underneath, the room obviously had not been cleaned. The house keeping staff that I came in contact with were sweet but be prepared to use Google Translate. The photos here are just some of the things that have not been fixed in years, I know for sure that escalator has been broken for at least 2. The elevators were out of service and the machines were down which forced everyone to have to stand in line for the cage cashier. I will say I will continue to stay at other Caesars properties in the future, but as far as this one it’s a no for me.

We had a great time we actually should have stayed at the casino and ate instead of leaving everything we needed was there. We ate at all restaurants and they weer awesome especially Port and company. We actually initially booked because we heard about the jacuzzi tub and it did not disappoint. The catch is that you have to book a premium room but it was worth every penny. The only issue we had was that they still smoke everywhere. We stank and actually needed the tub. I think Shreveport Casinos are non smoking now we just assumed that bossier was the same. Overall it was a great experience. Maintenance was also awesome they came to fix the stopper on our tub at 3 am.

I've always loved the Horseshoe. The staff is laid back and they let you enjoy yourself without being too visible. Drinks are free while you're gambling so that's a big plus. Parking is easy too. You can win a little if you know what you're doing. Bossier City has a lot to offer you if you just want to have some fun.

This hotel/casino is located right off the highway and super easy to get to. They offer complimentary valet parking for guests of the hotel. The staff are all really nice and helped us with not only things related to the hotel but also with things around town. There’s karaoke on Thursday nights and on the weekends they have a club, and all kinds of things. We ate at the 8 oz Burger restaurant and it was DELICIOUS! The rooms are clean, SPACIOUS, smell nice, have beautiful views of the river, and the beds are super comfy! Definitely recommend this hotel.

So, this was my first time at this hotel. I will definitely be coming back real soon. The service was top notch. The rooms were nice, the servers were excellent. It was an all around awesome experience for me. The food was ok, could have been better but it was ok. It's a definite must go back again for me.

SHANTEE B — Google review

Rooms were very nice. Spacious, clean, quiet. Huge tub and spacious bathroom. Lots of food options in house but being a casino expect $20+ per person. We had the 8oz burger bar that was excellent. Didn't spend much time in the casino side. It van be a bit of a sensory nightmare with the smells, the loud music, and all the things going on but if that doesn't bother you it's a nice place to stay right off i20.

Chris B — Google review

Honestly, I avoid this place at all cost. The first and ONLY TIME that I went to Horseshoe, while playing slots, I was approached by three different people asking if "I could put them in the game." It's my personal preference not to have people asking me for money while I am at a casino trying to relax and enjoy myself... but that's just me. The location is convenient and close to the Boardwalk, and on the way out, my wife had a waffle cone and I had a bowl of ice cream, from the shop located inside. I LOVE ICE CREAM, so that alone gained a star back in the service area. Also, the million-dollar-wall made out of 10000 actual one hundred dollar bills was quite impressive.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The check in was great we upgraded to a jacuzzi room for only 16.00$ more. I thought that was a great price. Our room was huge, clean, and bed was comfy. The jacuzzi was AWESOME. All the staff were extremely helpful and nice. The burger place on the first floor was awesome. The band in the bar was awesome. Thank you Horseshoes staff. We had a fabulous time and will be staying here again.

Great place! I'll always return to play in casino or book a room. Three floors of gambling machines and games. Plenty of places to eat there and comfy rooms. Customer service has always been great!

Andrea O — Google review

Have stayed here twice. The place has seen some years. It could desperately use some renovating. And that's the good part. Two years running I've constantly felt like I've inconvenienced staff by asking them to do their job.I walked in the sports book at 9PM (they closed at 10), and the bartender wouldn't make eye contact. It was apparently too close to closing to give me a beer. They don't open the sports book until 10 AM regardless of events like March Madness. And then when they do, the staff is totally overwhelmed by the people to the point of annoyance at customers. And more than half of the betting machines were broken. And yes, the sports book will definitely be closed when games are still playing. So then you end up cashing out via the casino floor cages. Just hope your ticket scans, because the staff will require a pit Boss, a floor manager and a midnight call to the director of the sports book to get them to key in the ticket manually. Yes, that definitely happened to me. All to the chorus I've "I don't do that, I just scan it".This place made me sympathetic to the plight of Boomers and Karens everywhere.

We made this the last stop of our Louisiana adventure. Awesome, welcoming staff, nice hotel, beautiful view out our riverview room, and ended up hitting a slot for $500 off of $20. Not a bad way to end the trip at all. Can't remember the name of the restaurant we went to but the buger I had was one of the best I've ever had. My only complaint of the entire experience was the smell of the room. I realize it was a smoking room but it literally smelled like they rounded up every ashtray off the casino floor, placed them all in a damp trash bag, and then hid them somewhere in the room. We went out and grabbed air freshener just to attempt to mask the smell a little.

Had a great experience! I didn't win big but I won often. Service was good ,if I needed anything I was taken care of within 5 minutes.Casino was clean and organized,. Even though you can smoke( good thing) I wasn't overpowered but smell of smoke. Plenty of machines & good parking .

Clean everywhere (parking garage, lobby area, gaming area, hotel room,etc.). Staff members were polite & helpful when needed. Large room & comfortable bed. We will stay here when we come back to town.

My wife ordered our room online. We paid around$80+. We Horseshoe was our choice as we had stayed there before. This time, we were extremely disappointed. The living area was OK, but she needs an update. The bed!!! Ugh. The mattress has been on the bed for so long that there are body cavities on each side of the bed. I woke up as sore as if I had worked out. The linens were old, with stains and holes in them. I had a very early Dr. appointment at the v.a; so I showered the night before. The bathroom was gross. It did not appear as though it had been thoroughly cleaned in a while. I observed what looked to be tiny mold spots on the grout lines. I rubbed one with a wash cloth, and the spot came off. I hope it wasn't mold. The bathroom floor simply was not clean. I made a towel walkway so my wife could walk to the bathroom. She refused to shower in the tub. I could easily deal with most of the issues but cannot deal with unclean.

Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets is an outdoor mall located near the Red River in Shreveport, Louisiana. It features a variety of retailers, including Bass Pro Shops and other informal restaurants, as well as a cinema.

It was absolutely beautiful here, I came here one in the day and once in the night. During the night, the lights of Shreveport reflected onto the Red River and it was absolutely stunning. I went to this cool soda shop and got a Ramune soda, my favorite part had to be the bridge going over the outlets, it was very pretty. Next time I’m the Bossier/Shreveport area I will be visiting again. There were string lights, plants, and a beautiful fountain in the center of the boardwalk’s attention.

Super sight to see. Quite beautiful at night. Easy assess to popular restaurants. Margaritaville casino is at the end of the board walk. Every shop we went into, the people was friendly and helpful. All in all not a bad place to chill! There was hardly any foot traffic. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

This is my second time visiting this place, while traveling cross country, and I can tell you that the first time I was here I enjoyed it much more than this trip. There was much more enjoyment, and there was more people in the boardwalk. I actually didn’t wanna leave, however well visiting this trip I felt like I was the only one in the boardwalk, the streets and stores were empty and there was only a few a few stores open And out of those few stores that are opened the majority of them were racist towards me and they also lacked the variety of options or so. The employees told me that they didn’t have anything available.

I absolutely enjoyed my time at the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets! The area is beautiful and there is plenty to do with shopping, eating, and entertainment options. The movie theater and casino are within walking distance, and there are a few restaurants nearby. I definitely recommend visiting this spot if you're in the area!

Kevin A — Google review

I enjoy the beautiful views at night while walking, I just wish they had better parking. There is plenty of retailers to choose from, but I suggest the candy shop (great selection of saltwater taffy and various flavored sodas, including a wide variety of not-so-common rootbeers). Bass Pro Shop is always awesome- stop by and check out the live alligators directly in front of the store. (Yes, they are in an enclosure). Not to worry, if you find yourself getting hungry- Saltgrass is stationed on the point, overlooking the Red River along with other choice dining options availableas well. Got an itch for some gaming? Margaritaville Resort and Casino hosts this entire compex- located on the the same property. You will discover breath-taking views from the casino resort rooms, along with plenty of fun and dining options located on the ground floor. (The shrimp pasta and short rib are my personal favorites at Dragos). I definitely recommend visiting, whether you're a local, or an out-of-towner. It's just good fun, with something for the whole family.

Joshua D — Google review

It was nice to walk around but not much else to do. Not many stores.

CJ A — Google review

I really liked going to the Boardwalk when my family and I had the chance to go to Bossier as we live in Texas. I remember going to this place back in 2017. The experience there was absolutely incredible. The amount of good stores, restaurants, and fun activities you can do during the day. It's 2024, and needless to say, I'm disappointed that a good amount of stores have closed during and after the pandemic. Rue 21 and Express are the stores that are expected to close soon. Sad to see all of my favorite stores close down, and I'll miss them everyday. It's been a year since we've last shopped in this place. I really hope y'all can solve this situation as I heard it's been a ghost town, but this could be no bueno if there is not an idea to resolve.

Place is nice to have a walk, most stores were closed early. Missing energy. The view of the River/Bridge is nice, but nothing else to do. For a small city, it's ok. There are bunch of restaurants but nothing special. Hooters, 3 Amigos and other local businesses. Sushi restaurant was surprisingly good. Good place for Sushi

Interesting place to see. Great number of shops to visit. You can also take trolly. We didn't see it, but the tracks are there. You can also see the river. It is connected to Bass Pro Shop. It is near all the casinos.

I love to just go there and take pictures and see the river and just chill out n look at all the neat buildings on both sides of the river.

Crystal ( — Google review

Nice little area with shops, food and close to casinos. I was warned not to be out passed 10pm/dusk as crime can be a problem. The area is in need of more shops and I was told that the shops the come typically do not stay long. If you are in the area looking for something it is worth the trip to go down to the boardwalk. My favorite store was Bass Pro Shops which was having some good sale items at the time.

Josh — Google review

I was excited to arrive during my first visit. Firstly, the alligators caught my attention, followed by the restaurants. There were a lot of cars in parking spaces, but I didn't see a lot of foot traffic. Secondly, several stores were vacant. Therefore, outlet very good for walking, but not enough stores for shopping.

The Margaritaville Resort Casino is a casino hotel with an island vibe located on the north side of the Louisiana Boardwalk. It offers gaming, sportsbook, and dining options.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your room. This website will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't regret it.I had the absolute best time. I loved the room. The river walk was my favorite part, it's so beautiful. The casino itself is beautiful. Well definitely stay again.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you will love it I'm sure!I loved it here! Reminded so much of when I went to Vegas. Very friendly staff and very clean. Great view of the Red River and Shreveport's Lighted Bridge. It has great restaurants to choose from and a Boardwalk to walk by the river. Great place to take pictures.

Only for nose blind folks!!! WARNING to asthmatics!!! Both of us got lung issues walking through. Absolutely gagged walking through the main floor. Disappointed that the restaurant we went to a year ago has been replaced with a different one. (Not our style). I've been here before and that experience was NOTHING like today's. Simply horrendously smelly and disappointing.

Nomadic S — Google review

I base my reviews on value. I didn't see it here. The room had trash still in it when we arrived. It smelled of weed and smoke. Several furnishings were ripped or broken. The bed was comfortable, but at $300 a night plus a resort fee..... shabby. The service was abysmal. I was ignored twice at the poolside bar, each time for 20 minutes without even a glance. I didn't even have a chance to get the bartenders attention. She was very focused on one group of 6 and had no time for the other side of the bar. I did enjoy the over 21 after 6 pool experience. The casino didn't offer anything special, just the same games that can be found at the other 5 local options. It was nice to have them all on one level, but the surly doormen and floor attendants quickly killed any good vibes. I might return for the pool if they were running a super cheep special, but I won't again pay 4 star prices for 2 star service.

Crysteel C — Google review

Just average, not special or exciting as a resort. The seemingly Above Average Room had a massive flaw.* that took away the stars. The room was clean, had 2 trash cans, great lighting, with a individual room thermostat that worked. The large bathroom; a nice roomy walk-in shower complete with soft fluffy towels.*BUT -the Mattress Was Worn-Out to the point (on both sides) that this 120 pound woman sunk way down into the old memory foam? and felt like she had hit the true bottom. Climbing out was near impossible. Despite the extra pillows,( requested ahead on booking ) it was a truly miserable cut short night's sleep. Definitely cramped up an otherwise nice room to be scored a big zero. While waiting for Valet, overheard another couple discussing the SAME issue with a nice room but a HORRIBLE bed.No, experience did not have me seeking Management, the Spa or in the Casino when not able to sleep. We checked out early.

Stayed here while in town for work. An overall nice hotel. The casino was fun, too. The staff was very kind, courteous, and professional. My husband and I enjoyed our time here. Variety of food options on the property, so literally not having to leave was fantastic after a 6 hour drive. We will be coming back for sure. Oh and the internet speed was amazing!!

Was so excited to have Dragos come to bossier. Planned trip to enjoy a dinner there last Tuesday changed hours only to find they changed hours. Only no longer open on Tuesdays.A five star place but only open half week. Weekends too busy. Back to Oyster Bar for my seafood fix.

Usually a great experience when we visit. However, these past few times, it seemed more and more machines were down. I also would like to see more of the Lightning Link games. The four along the back wall are always taken. I have even seen players playing two machines during peak times.

Cheryl C — Google review

I am giving a one star review. I am giving this review because they allowed their sprinkler to soak the inside of my car. I parked in the handicap parking area. The area on the back right hand side. The last handicap parking spot by the tree. The sprinkler was pretty much aimed directly into my window. I asked them to shut it off and they did not. It soaked my seat, my door, my center console, my radio, my plugs for my electronics, my cell phone, my interior passenger side got the most water damage but the entire front had water to some extent. My battery was dead and I couldn't roll my windows up. I was waiting on triple A to come give me a jump. They did jump my car, but by that time the damage was done. The casino did not offer anything not even a towel to dry my vehicle. I am beyond irritated and disappointed. I was unaware I parked near a sprinkler because there was no sign stating to be cautious of the sprinklers. I feel the casino could have done more to make it right instead I had to wait for a long time for my car to dry out. I do not recommend Margaritaville. Not to mention their machines are very tight and the free play is almost non existent I was getting it on a regular basis and suddenly it stopped. Even with my card being used in the machines and me playing the online app. I am also from out of state. So, it makes it even worse. I do frequent the area. But, I can say unless they make it right my opinion will remain low of this casino. I will spend my money elsewhere.

A. W — Google review

I really enjoyed my visit at the resort. It was soooo good to be back in Louisiana. The casino was nice with a variety of games. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. I'm still going to give it 5 stars although there was no microwaves in the rooms. Everything else was excellent 👌🏾.

Shanda W — Google review

Room was nice, checking was good. Waitresses sucked. I observed waitresses at the bar getting orders filled. All of em just standing there lolly gagging including the bar tender. While playing I was able to get a drink every 75 minutes. I even looked for waitresses bit couldn't find any, cause they were all at the bar. They would take like 2 orders at a time. Glad I don't come here at all. Only reason we stayed here was for a Dr's appointment. Never again. I'll bring my own beer and go to the room for a refill. It'll be much much faster than your waitresses.

Great Service from the front desk. The Woman behind counter was courteous, and made the transaction easy. I got there to meet my date and you know. I tell you these dating apps are great for a romp. What happen to the times i don't know, but i don't think anyone is looking for a relationship anymore lol. The company was great for the 1 1/2 she stayed, and i was kinda thinking she wanted me to buy dinner or something. So I had to play the "Pick N Roll" on her. You know the ole "Pick her up, and sent her home!" Shower was good and spacious. Overall the place was great, the sleep was great, and the Pick N Roll worked to perfection. Thank you Margaritaville the stay was great. I would recommend this hotel 10/10..

Our bellhop was great and when we called for maintenance they were great. My issue is if you spend THAT much money per night, you should get your room cleaned each day. Live and Learn…. Won’t come back!

Trey W — Google review

It wasn't a terrible experience, but it definitely could've been better. The biggest issue that my family and I had was that housekeeping was not great. We had to go down to the lobby not once but THREE times (over the span of about 3 hours) just to have housekeeping notified that we were requesting more towels. For there being 4 of us, two towels are definitely not enough. If the phone in the room would've been working, that might've helped, so we wouldn't have to keep going back down to the lobby. The crazy part is that housekeeping was only a few doors down from us, so not sure what the holdup was. It shouldn't take 3 hours for extra towels to be sent to the room.Secondly, in the casino, while playing at one of the machines, it just turned off with no warning. I asked security (since they were the closest) if they could notify someone to come to my game and they tried to make it seem like that happening was normal. Not sure how it's normal for a game to cut off in the middle of playing, but whatever. The lady that ended up coming to check out what was wrong barely said two words to me. After that, I didn't spend another dime in the casino. I've had better service at other casinos.

D W — Google review

Our room was very nice and had a great view of the river. The casino is starting to need some updating, it still has lots of the older machines but if that is what you like then that is a good thing. The boardwalk is very nice and clean with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. All the staff we encounterd were all very nice. We didn't win any money but had a great time on our two day getaway.

This was a nice place to visit. The rooms were nice and clean, and the view of the red river was nice. Also you could see the city of Shreveport right across the river. They did have a few food places inside, food was a little on the spicy side but good. The service was very friendly and polite. The slots a d table games had a good verity and you can actually win here. Overall Great place to go also kid friendly and you can bring your pets.

Brice B — Google review

Terrible for the price. Vegas last year was cheaper, including the flights. I’ll just start at the beginning. When we checked in we were charged more than quoted on the phone, or what the email reflected. We got to our room, which was great, but NO housekeeping service-dirty towels/trash/soap and tp replenishing was non existent. We even called to get housekeeping, and still had to find a guy with a cart to get clean towels. So, our trash piled up in our room, ran out of hand soap in the bathroom, and almost the toilet paper. Never seen such thin toilet paper in my life. The view was great from the room but for the price wasn’t worth it. Morale seemed very low in the casino. We ended up going to Horseshoe and the casino actually looked like a casino. BEAUTIFUL! Horseshoe has great food, a real bar, great music, high morale. The staff there was great! Anyways, we had booked our room at Margaritaville for 3 nights so just went there to sleep on their hard, uncomfortable bed. On a good note, the coffee bar & service there was great. At checkout there’s only 1 baggage cart. Crazy! So with all the luggage we had we had to wait for 45 minutes just to leave. Eric, the manager was helpful by adjusting our room rate to reflect what we were quoted. Still ends up higher than Vegas. We even saw him taking towels to a room. Hard worker, but he’s not supposed to be doing that. What’s really going on here?Overall, the hotels not very accommodating or considerate of people’s needs when it comes to common and basic needs of hotel guests. Will not be going back, ever. Oh and in case anyone is wondering, there are NO buffets at any of the casinos here. LAME!

I will definitely stay here again. Quiet and rooms were clean. Maybe more towels and clean the wood counters better under the sink. Beds seem like a full size and not queens. Other than that, our stay was exceptional. I also loved that they were kid friendly.

The rooms are some of the best in the city! If you get a room on the top floor with the bathtub, it's amazing. You have a double balcony and a dining table that seats 8. You could literally have a party in this apartment. You could almost live in it. It's beautiful exquisite taste and wonderful bathtub definitely large enough for two

Standard resort for the area. I stayed here for the room which was clean and spacious. TV deal can be annoying so I recommend using your Netflix account to save the trouble of the other apps. All of the staff were very nice and professional. You can walk to a few stores and restaurants from here also which is a huge plus. I tried the cafe near the main lobby bar and the food was hot and fresh.

The place is not bad. I will say, $350 for a weekend night is a bit ridiculous and completely not worth the price. The room was a good size. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The minimum bet of the tables seemed a bit high. There are way too many penny slots. The store onsite is closed which was highly inconvenient. Not all the restaurants are open.It is pretty close to the boardwalk shops which is nice. You could walk to them if you wanted, but the parking lots are connected so I would recommend just driving over. They do have free valet parking but we could not find a valet when we needed to park so we ended up parking ourselves each time.It is also pretty close to downtown.Overall, given the weekend price, I'd say it's not worth the price and would recommend staying elsewhere.

So our 4 night vacation started off bad. They put us in a broken room 1008, electrical outlet hanging out of wall with exposed wires, fridge did not work, ceiling fan broken, phone headset broken, coffee maker broken, shower handle fell off and ac unit had high pitched squeal. Then we asked to be moved, they sent up a very rude maintenance person, who wanted to fix it while we were in the room and told us they won't move our room. Finally after talking to manager they gave us a new room 3 doors down, wouldn't you know it, they took the broken coffee maker and changed it with that room we were moved to, so we had to get the good one back. Ther electrical outlet behind nightstand hanging out(just ignored that) in the new room. No compensation offered all.The rooms either has mold or something allergens every morning wake up sneezing and stuffy, after a few hours from room it would clear up.BRING YOUR OWN TOILETRIES!! They have used soaps and shampoos in large bottles that are gooped up a d could be tampered with toilet paper is sandpaper. Over chlorinated water will leaves skin red and burning.Decided to go to gym, our keys never worked, hotel desk said they should and didn't offer to validate. OK let's use the hot tub, ice cold!!! and no controls and dirty.Only have free valet on weekends, trying to get car keys took an hour ask front desk had to wait for security. The front driveway was being repainted. The outside hotel can use a powerwash with all the spiderweb and bugs stuck to walls.Ordered a club sandwich and they burnt the cursaunt. Rest of food eh just okHalf the casino was being remodeled, could not play all games, high roller slots room closed for some reason.Room service was closed, this being a Vegas owned casino payouts were very limited if any, always better payouts at indian owned casinos. The atmosphere on the casino floor was fun, casino workers, and cleaning staff friendly.Don't think we will return due to the issues we had from the first few hours.2 stars was based on hotel staff and management. Casino was fun.FYI kiosk machine round down so take your tickets to cashier cage.

I visited the casino 🎰 on a Sunday evening. Nice clean casino. I didn't stay overnight to experience the rooms. Staff was friendly. They had plenty of spots open on the tables. A nice selection of slots to choose from. I had the best luck playing the $1 slots. The Baboo Asian restaurant inside the hotel had good food .

The casino is great with a selection of slots and the staff was very nice but we were staying here for my moms early surgery just like we do every time she has to go in. It’s kind of a ritual to stay here at this point. And this time we had some issues. The room next to use was throwing a very loud party. And we were not the only ones to notice. Our room was at the end of the hall and the “party room” was right past ours at the very end of the hall on the same side. We complained about the loud noise but just wanted a different room… we didn’t get a new room but the front desk lady did call them, which did not help. They started partying very loudly again and we went down again to complain and at this point multiple people were complaining as you could hear them screaming and the music at the elevators. We yet again asked for a different room but she informed us they did not have a room to give us. But she followed us up stairs and let us get back into the room before knocking on their door and giving them a final warning or they would be removed from the premises. At this point we just said whatever we will let everyone else complain and sure enough they didn’t quite down. Finally got quite around 12 at night and we left our room at 5 am. We will be staying again because of how nice it is and we really do enjoy this hotel but I am highly disappointed with our stay this particular time.

Stayed at this location multiple times and have had a good time from food to room quality. The only downside this year is that the check-in staff didn’t tell me there was a master light switch so I thought some of the light bulbs were broken. There needs to be improved communication from the staff and hotel guests.

Wow. This place has went downhill. Everything from the staff to the establishment. We were very disappointed. Every year we stopped through here on our way to vacation and on our way back as welland spend tons of money. Booked our reservation for six and was guaranteed a two Queen suite with a balcony view as usual. When arriving to the property early around 4:30 in the afternoon after confirming the room we were told our room would not be available for at least the next hour and a half to 2 hours. 3 1/2 hours later when finally walking into our room there were only two beds in no balcony. Knowing there's no way this room could accommodate us all we went back down to the office to let them know about the mix-up. The staff sat there after previously confirming our room was the one we reserved blatantly lied to our faces and said they're not allowed to book the specific room that we reserved . On top of that moved us to an even smaller one king room. After the third time going down to the office explaining the situation politely the staff treated us as if we were the ones that did something wrong. After 45 minutes of arguing back and forth over the situation I decided to go to the VIP office and talk to a gentleman there about the situation. They were not accommodating either but when it was all said and done they finally offered us the room that we were originally comped at a ridiculous amount. Over 500 bucks a night on a Wednesday. Knowing that we had nowhere else to go and had to take the deal. Finally getting to the proper room after having to pay even more for our stay the room wasn't even cleaned. They were dirty underwear beside the bed trash out in the bins and on the floor and stunk like sour milk. Needless to say we will never be coming back here again unless compensated for such a horrible experience. It was one of the most embarrassing things we've ever witnessed at this establishment. Oh we were also scheduled to stay on our way back as well and promise the exact same room don't think that's going to happen not even going to chance it fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on you.

This should be a wonderful place to visit, but it is overrun with crime. My wife and I left the hotel without staying a single night. Fortunately the clerk refunded our money without issue but it didn’t appear this was the first time she had done this. I was disappointed with the city a whole. I ate at a great restaurant but had to drive through the hood to get there. Upon arriving back at the hotel I was greeted by a drug dealer and his friends who had an overwhelming odor of marijuana coming from them and they were clearly blitzed out of their minds as they we just standing in front of the elevator hoping it would show up. I moved around them and pressed the call button. When the elevator arrived we were lucky to have two arrive so we didn’t have to ride with them. No one to include security appeared to care they had copious amounts of marijuana on them. We made it to our room and where someone repeatedly knocked on our door until I answered it. Fortunately I left the door catch secured as it appeared it was a setup to get in our room. At this point my wife felt extremely uncomfortable and we decided it was time to go. This is not the caliber I expect from the Margaritaville Hotel brand as the one I stayed at in TN was very nice. They need to clean this hotel up or remove their branding from it.

We did not have a good experience gambling here. No one was able to help us activate our play card even when all information was correct. The attendants said that there was nothing they could do. I didn’t like gambling in cash or having to pay the atm fee. The room was clean but wasn’t much for $200. They say that you save up to 30% for being a first responder but when we saw the receipt, it was the same price as a normal room. No free breakfast and not very welcoming. Even when you are gambling, no one was walking around taking free drink orders. We sat at the bar and paid for a couple drinks. The only good thing about the whole experience was the nice man at the bar who made us some amazing drinks. They were very over priced at $10 for a small drink but they tasted great.

If you're looking for a "high class" hotel experience then don't stay here. The room we stayed in #819 was very dated. No USB plugs like most hotels have. The ceiling fan looks like it could fall at any minute. The room was clean. The bed was not too uncomfortable. I forgot to take pictures. But if I'm going to spend the money to stay at a casino hotel I'll stay at the Horseshoe.

We usually go to Boomtown but tonight we stayed at Margaritaville. Hotel room was good overlooking the river. Lady luck was on my side. I won my first hand pay jackpot, $5,520 and another good win. Overall the casino was packed but we had a good time

Had no issues with arrival. But at 6:30 this morning they decided to test the fire alarm, woke up the whole building and then turned off the power for 30 minutes to the whole floorAfter the power came back on, most things still were not working. TV was down. Electronic menus and casinos were downI understand maintenance is important. What kills me is none of- and I mean NONE - of the employees acknowledged the inconvenience it caused. They all acted like it was my fault and made me feel very unwelcomeEven the guy at the cafe downstairs, their electronic menu was down, so I asked what coffee options they had, he seemed extremely bothered by it, like was asking for a for a free 5-star mealDefinitely won’t be back

Ms. Raven was amazing upon our arrival. The check in process went very smooth, our room was ready at check in, and very easy to find the elevator. Our room was amazing 😍!! The room gave us a beach vibe feel wich was beautiful! The hotel it self is very beautiful from the staff to the decor to lounges !! The casino part was cool just wish it had some better slots. The pool was just fantastic! The view was breath taking ! We a had a great time and will love to visit again.

Our stay here was amazing. The room was beautiful and even had a ceiling fan which made sleeping so much more comfortable. The pool and poolside bar were great with an amazing view of the Red River. The drinks were tasty, although they didn’t have salt for the margaritas! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here and loved it. Won a little and wish we would of gotten a chance to try the other restaurants. Rooms were clean and the valet staff was super !!!!! They were so nice and friendly. Worth using them to valet and take up luggage. We will definitely be back. The pool was nice and everything was very clean. My only issue was the sports book restraunt was slow and the waiter was nice but not anything to write home about!

Lyndsey R — Google review

The jewel of the Shreveport market. A more intimate experience that brings fun for gaming and non. The changes in food options are very cool and delicious. The new expanded sports bar is fantastic. Missed Johnathan on my last visit? Still good food with amazing big screen sports viewing! While the franchise restaurant placement had a challenging opening, it has improved dramatically. Jimmy's remains a consistent jewel. Try eating at it's bar. Great relaxing high end with attractive service. Pool and spa are great. Ms Ford at check-in was professional and detailed.

Rooms are very nice. Tvs need to be a little bigger and would be nice to get to the hdmi ports on it. They wouldn't change sheets or towels till we put ours in the hallway. 10 minutes later they show up. Pool and bar where amazing. Live music was phenomenal.

It was the perfect weekend getaway and road trip. My daughter is a "foodie" and loves to try out different restaurants all over the world and she wanted to try out several restaurants in the area and at the casino. We had a great time, won a little cash, ate great food and simply relaxed. I most definitely will be back again!

Margaritaville is the first casino I've ever been to. It was great! I didn't stay in the hotel, but the casino had a lot of fun variety. Minus one star for no gift shop.As a note, I have a service dog. They were fantastic about him being there!

Alexandra J — Google review

Love the tropical vibes and valet staff. Front desk is only there to check you in nothing else. When asking for extra towels they told us it was laundry day and we would need to seek out housekeeping on the 3rd floor. The pool is gorgeous but expect to see one adult with 5-6 kids who may be in jeans or shorts. No swim dress code enforced. It’s like an unsupervised community swimming pool. DJ is phenomenal yet this is not a place adults can relax unless you don’t mind a hot rub and pool full of kids. Jimmy’s steak house is great and Drago’s a close second with poor interior design. I won’t be coming back and will return to Horeshoe Casino.

Lori H — Google review

My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay a great deal. Our room was very nice with a good view of the river. I thought their room pricing was fair in this era of hotel price gouging. The gambling was fun but the slots were oh so tight! We ate in the sports book several times and the experience was excellent. I recommend Margaritaville Bossier City and will return.

Wildlife park with alligators in their natural habitat & a petting zoo stocked with tame animals.

This was so much fun! Feeding the animals was the best. Then we got to watch the alligators being fed. It was a great experience.

Stephanie B — Google review

My kiddos first time seeing alligators! They enjoyed the feeding show (totally unexpected, yet very entertaining), we all got to hold and take photos with a baby alligator! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the exotic petting zoo and feeding the animals! Such a great time!

Jessica B — Google review

This was such a fun family trip. We had 11 altogether and went on a Thursday morning. Enjoyed all of the animals and a nice picnic lunch. Staff was courteous and helpful and the price was much more doable than the zoo in Tyler.

Great place to visit for the kids and adults. It's safe and fun. The merchandise sold there is pretty cool too. Overall great experience

Taurin W — Google review

This is one of our favorite stops when we are heading out of Louisiana. The animals are all well taken care of. The staff is friendly. They have so many animals to feed and pet. And of course our favorite is the alligators. They do live feedings scheduled throughout the day and a show where they bring in a baby alligator for you to learn about and hold. The bathrooms are clean. They have a gift shop. The snack shop was closed due to being short staffed when we were there. Come with your walking shoes and have a great time.

Great experience. Quite a few gators and a lot of other animals in the petting zoo. Zip line and go-karts are available when they have enough staff. Pretty decent price as well.

Jim G — Google review

One of the workers there (Kayleigh) was absent FABULOUS! She educated us on so much. She was very friendly and courteous. This is a really nice place to take children and it isn't very expensive like others. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Kristi J — Google review

Was a little disappointed because I was really wanting to do the zip line and it was not open😒 nor was the race track. I was informed that they will not be open until about spring of 2024. We were able to see the feeding of the alligators which was pretty cool. Also got to hold and take pics with a baby alligator. They also have other animals that you can pet and feed. They actually eat and interact with you not like some other wildlife places I've been too. It wasn't expensive to get in either. You can get a big cup of feed for $2.50.

Jessica G — Google review

We stopped here while on a road trip. Our family didn’t really enjoy it at all to be honest. During the gator feeding, we were expecting them to be informing us about the gators both in general and the ones there specifically but they just asked if we had questions. I was also really looking forward to the baby gator interaction but they never mentioned it when they finished feeding the big gators so my family took off to the petting zoo part after standing around for a few minutes after they did the feeding. Petting zoo in Texas often means you go in the pin with the animals and get to interact with them directly while feeding or just petting them. Here, you don’t go in the pin, you feed them through a gate that is kind of challenging to feed many of the animals through. The deer and goats have big gaps in the fencing that they can stick their heads through but other animals are harder to get to feed. When we finished in the petting zoo, I still didn’t see anything about the baby gator interaction so I asked as we started to leave and the people at the front desk said they do it after the gator feeding and the next one wouldn’t be for another 45 minutes at the time we asked. So we missed that because we needed to get back on the road. The zip line and go karts would have been cool to do but the website does let you know that those are down right now.I have two stars because I was able to pet a kangaroo and that was cool to me but all in all, my family doesn’t think this place is worth the stop. I hate to leave a bad review, I really do, but I just want to be honest for anyone else looking for something to do while traveling through

Krissy — Google review

Our experience was amazing. My grandson was tickled with the way some of animals were smart enough to motion you to give them some food. The area was very shaded and interacting with all the animals was tops. The height of the gators coming out of the water was crazy! Kalee did such a great job and was very informative.

B G — Google review

Very cool experience if your traveling. You get a big cup of food for maybe 5 bucks that let's you feed all the different kinds of animals. There's kangaroos, deer, goats, miniature horses, alpacas, lamas, sheep, a goose, and of course alligators. There are ziplines and a ropes course that go over the alligators water but they were closed due to it being off season. The go cart track was also closed due to it being off season. Some off the fences needed replaced and there's only one spot to clean your hands in thw whole park. Overall definitely recommend stopping by to check it out.

This was the coolest place ever to take my 9yo granddaughter. I don't know who had a better time, her or me 😀

Shannon R — Google review

I really enjoyed our trip to Gators and Friends. It's right on the border of TX and LA. We were lucky enough to arrive around the gator feeding time and I got to hold a baby alligator. They also have lemurs, deer, goats, sheep, and an emu. We were allowed to feed most of the animals except the lemurs and alligators. I definitely want to come back sometime. I'd say it's great for the whole family 😊

Lindsay G — Google review

Came here with our kids and had a great visit. Right away, we got to see the gators being fed. Immediately after that, we got to hold a baby gator and then went straight to feeding all the other animals. Overall, we had a great time!

Cypress swamp with camping, boating & fishing amid diverse birds & animals, including alligators.

We had a great weekend here under the tall pines. Even through the sleet and cold, we managed to hike and rent canoes. The front staff is very kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we want to go back when it’s warmer. Additionally, we stayed in spot 42. It was the first level spot we have stayed in with our RV. Such a roomy campsite! Thank you so much for the great time!

This was a great weekend trip. We camped at a lovely spot that was well spaced from other campsites and offered shade. We rented a canoe for 24 hours. It was breathtaking and ethereal gliding silently through the moss covered Cyprus. All sounds seemed to be muted and other senses awakened while paddling in and out of the groves.

Beautiful park. Serene vistas, placid mirror-like water, and friendly , knowledgeable, and overall simply great staff. The pads for sites 55 and 56 are entirely too close together. I shouldn't be able to hear the neighbor letting one rip. Some may complain about the adjacent bayou and the mudboat noise, but it's part of the charm for me. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. It's host to cool wildlife, including owls and raccoons. Help the rangers maintain the park and pack out your trash!

Erich R — Google review

the park is excellent!!! to be honest I think it should be more than a state park. it’s much more fun than Hot springs!! it’s a hidden gem.The best way to visit the park is to visit in late dec and rent a boat. otherwise it might be too hot.

Nywiigsha C — Google review

Loves this place! We camped in one of the cabins that has the screened walls. We pitched our tent inside where there’s a light and there’s a lock on the door from the inside. You can also bring your own lock to lock it from the outside. The rangers at the front station were nice and informative. We rented a canoe for 3 hours and it was $20. We paddled around the swamp and bayou and saw some beautiful stuff. We’ll be coming back for sure.

Beautiful State Park with wonderful views. There are elevated docks over the water with great views of the Bayou. The hiking trails were very nice and the trails were clear of fallen trees and kept natural. The steps up the hills were nicely spaced and not steep. Plenty of bridges that cross the small winding creek. The staff at the park are friendly and helpful.

David K — Google review

This is a beautiful park. The hiking trails are well kept but do have some incline. Make sure you bring insect repellent or you will be eaten alive.

Fiorella M — Google review

We visited in July, which I do not recommend. It is so hot. It is even more humid. The park is very nice and large. We stayed in a site with water and electric. The sites are nicely spaced out so you never feel like you are right on top of your neighbor. You can walk right down to the "lake" which I would call more of a swamp, but it is very pretty. Canoe rental is cheap and easy. My kids caught a spotted gar, bowfin, and bass all from the canoe in the pond area of the lake near the docks. The bathhouses are very nice and are kept clean, but they may be a pretty good hike from your site. Everything is bigger in Texas, including the bugs. The campground is also a short drive from a quaint town called Jefferson which is definitely worth the visit.

Patrick M — Google review

One of the best state parks in Texas.I have added pictures to show some of its beauty. You can get a paddle boat, bring your boat. Nice big trees. People are nice. The place is not crowded. The campsites are great.

A quick trip to Caddo Lake State Park. We stayed in a cabin. It was appointed with all the basics you need and clean (you do need to bring linens, plates, silverware.... your camping just in a cabin; they do have a coffee maker in the cabin). Remember it's not a hotel, but rather a way to be in the park and experience the beautiful nature of Caddo Lake. The park rangers were great and more than happy to tell you about the park, the area and much more. The trails are short and relatively easy. Saw Mill Pond is nice to just sit at and listen to the wildlife. There are canoes for rent by the hour. If you are looking for a place to stay in bayou territory this your place.

Love love love this place! We visited for 5 days and 4 nights in our RV. Best birthday yet 😍. The trails were nice. Our favorite was the one that went up to the ccc pavilion. We fished on the bayou, my hubby caught a little catfish. Didn't see any alligators, maybe next time.

We are staying in site 27 Armadillo Run Loop, it is very close to the Hwy 46 so there is constant sound of cars, if you walk down a few sites the sound is diminished and even better on the other side of the bathrooms. Those are pull through sites with full hookups. We would not camp in this particular loop again we would camp further away from the road.Bathrooms are large with showers, 2 stalls, one handicapped the non handicapped stall has a paper dispensed that intruders in your space.Great fishing peer, and kayak put in spots. There are alligators in these waters but they are not aggressive.Enjoyed the hiking loops, and CCC work that was done I. The 1930’sAlso nice boat ramp to put your fishing boat into the bayou that leads into Cado Lake.Lots and lots of trees great shade, but little sun to warm you in the fall and winter camping.

Really nice State Park. For camping, there are multiple options available. Then there is the opportunity for day trips, including group events. But, every visitor MUST tour the exhibits at the Park HQ. This is necessary to understand the ecology of Caddo Lake and how human intervention has changed the lake.

Homer P — Google review

Really great place to go camping. You can go fishing in the pond completely covered with old Cypress trees. You can go hiking on the trails or just hang out around the camp fire. Able to go in and out after paying for your spot. They have enclosed "shelters" at each campsite if it starts raining (which it did for us). Great amenities. The only negative would be the earth shattering noises at night. It sounds like a space rocket in the distance, very loud and consuming, almost worrisome.

Bradley B — Google review

This is a nice, but very small state park. There's one mile of hiking trails and canoe rental. After that, you're going to need board games. The park is relatively quiet and the mill pond campsites have great trees.

This was an unexpected stop one weekend. I wish I were better prepared because the lake is best seen from a canoe. The day was cool and colder on the water and neither of us had the right clothing to stay warm for an impromptu canoe trip! Yet, even from the two access points we found, one for boats and the other a couple of piers with canoe rentals, the lake is stunning! We are definitely planning to return.

Disappointed in the pizza. They don’t offer a margarita so I got the cheese pizza which was overwhelmingly disappointing. Tasted like a frozen pizza from the store. My friends got the supreme and pizza espana and they were relatively happy with it but felt it lacked compared to previous experiences. We’ve been there many times for both restaurant and tasting room and honestly they are dropping the ball. The restaurant side has been less appealing for the menu is lacking in luster and is always the same. We really wish they would switch it up sometimes. Not sure about their chef situation but they are in desperate need of one that’s more creative and can offer some diversity to their stagnant menu.

A lot to like here. The setting is gorgeous, the tasting room was spacious and comfortable, and the servers were very pleasant and very friendly. We didn't try the restaurant, though that looks very nice, too. But, I am afraid the wines were a problem. Between my wife and I, we tried about 13 different wines; 2-3 were good (though not great), 1 was truly awful (viognier), and the rest were barely marginal. The quality was just off, especially for the price. It's not that they were bland jug wines, they were actually generally complex and interesting, but just not good.Given the size of the facility and how busy the parking lot was, I think this place has great potential. I really want to like it and I'd be willing to try again in a few years. I think they would do well to maybe hire an experienced winemaker from CA or maybe someone who has spent time at one of the established wineries in Lubbock or Fredericksburg. Might also help to cut down the total number of wines; for the size of the winery, they have maybe too many varietals and blends. Most TX wineries of this size have maybe half to 2/3 the number of offerings.Anyway, I still enjoyed the visit. Best of luck to them.

Love this place! They have a number of really good wines, and they take their business seriously. As far as fine dining in East Texas, this is some of the best you can get. We joined the wine club and really enjoy the quarterly pairing events - so much so that we drive in from Dallas. Highly recommend a trip out to the country for this one!

Amazing experience! I brought my parents out of town and we were blown away by the incredible wine and gourmet pizzas in Enoch Stomp. Our favorite pizza was the brisket pizza. Everything cooked at Enoch is always fresh and delicious.

Have had dinner and wine here several times. Their smokehouse and pickle pizza is epic! One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, it won't disappoint.

I came here with a group of friends as a part of a weekend getaway. We did a wine tasting with Annabelle as our sommelier. She was very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the wines and foods. My favorite wine was the Enoch's Stomp Cabernet Sauvignon. It personally reminds me of Caymus or Joseph Phelps. At Annabelle's suggestion I ordered crab cakes, a filet with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The food was excellent and paired well with their beautiful wine. It was a great experience at a beautiful vineyard. I can't wait for our first return visit.

Food service in the tasting room was incredibly slow. Pizzas were great, ciders were over priced at $10 for a smallish glass but everything tasted fantastic. The drinking water REALLY needs to be filtered before service to customers.

Last night, we traveled from Louisiana to go to this restaurant we had been dying to go to. The menu looked amazing. Reservations were made 3 weeks in advance and accepted for 7 of us at 6:30. When our reservation time rolled around, we were told they were just waiting on another table to finish their meal. No problem, we decided to have appetizers at the tasting room. After waiting another 45 minutes with no seating, they offered for us to sit outside just until our reservation was ready. We agreed and ordered some wine while we waited. When it became obvious that we were not going to sit inside and just be expected to freeze outside (there were several tables inside they could have pushed together at that point to accommodate us, as the original party was still sitting at the table chatting and not budging) we did ask to speak to a manager. It was now close to 8:00, which they informed us was the kitchen’s CLOSING TIME. The manager was EXTREMELY rude and I would’ve been fired on the spot if I spoke to customers that way. She was condescending and basically told us that they had reservations too and the people at our table were “just finishing up and not ready to leave”. I thought it was unprofessional in the beginning to tell us which table we were “waiting on to leave” before we sat anyway. After she basically told us to go F ourselves, we were told to go back across the street to the tasting room so we could eat before the kitchen closed. We brought all our own drinks, silverware, etc. no attempt was made to help us RELOCATE. Then, when we got back there, the staff continued to talk about us RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. As if we did anything wrong except show up for a birthday reservation. At one point, one of the waitresses even took a potted plant and positioned it in from her face after she saw us looking and listening to us being talk about right in front our face. I hve never been to a “fine dining” restaurant in my life where I have been treated so poorly by the staff. Of course with a party of 7, they didn’t care at all because they were going to grat us, which the waitress did inform us at the end of the meal as one last dig since she was well aware of how completely ugly we were treated. As we were leaving, another waitress that I had seen in passing but had been with other tables came up to us as we got into our vehicle and told us she was SO EMBARRASSED for the way we were treated and that she had witnessed it all. That young lady was the only one who knew how to treat people with human decency. We will never, ever come here again and will continue to advocate for others to stay away if you want to be treated with genuine kindness.

Had the seafood pasta and our table had the potter's hand sweet red. Everyone at my table loved their meal. It's an absolutely breathtaking location as well. The restaurant is beautiful and the grounds are incredibly well maintained.

Great place to stop and visit, have a bottle of wine and just enjoy the view and rolling landscape. Fall breeze is enjoyable on one of the two porches they have. The tasting room and our door seating area are great.Wait staff were very polite and helpful. We order the red wine and the white wine taster along with the bear creek meat pizza. This was fun and enjoyable. We decided on the humble. The restaurant sits across from the tasting room is must see. Great area in the back to get married or propose. They are also expanding the cabins if you want to stay overnight.Go slow on the driveway it needs some maintenance.

Christopher N — Google review

Truly the worst dining experience I’ve had at this price point. Management was very rude and unapologetic for their own errors. Reservations apparently don’t mean anything. On the way an out an employee stopped to tell us how she was SO embarrassed on how we were treated.

Caroline E — Google review

A great experience! Ron was our tour guide and he was phenomenal. Facility was clean and accommodating. The food in the tasting room was awesome! I had a simple pepperoni pizza and it was fantastic. Learned a lot about wine and how it’s made and what types I prefer. Will be back

Cliff — Google review

I have had wonderful experiences here in the past, but the service was lackluster at best today. I took a guest with me and I was embarrassed for Enoch’s. It was almost like we weren’t there, and maybe we were an inconvenience. The food was good and the wine mostly good.

This museum uses full-scale dioramas to illustrate the East Texas oil boom of the 1930s.

I have passed this place many times and today was my first time to stop and visit this INCREDIBLE bit of history!!! I enjoyed taking my time looking at all the exhibits and visiting with the knowledgeable staff. The immersive style early 1900s walking museum was AMAZING!While I was there an elementary school was there full of smiles enjoying their best life! Definitely make time for a visit, you will not be disappointed! 😊

Oh my gosh! This was so cool. Michael and I went here just to check the place out. I really loved the projection of a face on a pillow that talked. That was the coolest thing I have ever seen. I REALLY regret not taking video of it! My only disappointment is it was so quick. (That's why I didn't give it a full 5 stars.) The tour was over before you knew it. But this was in Nov of 2020 so it may have expanded by then. I have never been in any museum this cool. Michael uses a cane to get around and I just wanted to share for those that may be disabled, you can get around the place. I don't think you could though if you were in a wheelchair. I also wish I would of purchased a t-shirt had they had them. I like to buy t-shirts of locations I go. But we both enjoyed ourselves and Mick said he too was impressed by the way they projected the faces. One was getting a shave and he couldn't get over that lol. So if you go make sure you have space in your phone for photos and videos. I certainly think kids would love this.

Ever since the frist time i came here as a kid and every time since then (15+ years) i just can't get enough of this wonderful experience. The staff is always helpful and the grounds are very well kept and clean. I hope this establishment is around for MANY more years so the youth of East Texas and those of us who enjoy history have a wonderful place to see history come to life. A hardy Thank you to the staff for keeping this place in such good shape. I am sure to stop here EVERY TIME im in Kilgore.

Fantastic little museum we had never known about! The concept and layout is sooo cute and well thought out. You can go into all displays like the drug store, bank, and a printing press. And there’s even a old time theatre you can watch a show in! I loved the elevator to the center of the earth “ride”! Highly recommend this little piece of history!

If you haven't been to this wonderful museum, GO! I was not expecting to walk through a life sized, re-created oil booming town, but we sure did, all tucked in this fabulous museum. My 10yr old hasn't stopped talking about it since we left. The ladies working there were very helpful and ready to take you on a tour. Or you can just enjoy at your leisure. My familywill be back for sure.

I absolutely could NOT stop smiling! This place makes a zoo look boring. We had an incredible time! They gave us food to feed the animals & I bought some extra food because I'm a kid at heart, however, the amount they gave us would have been plenty. The animals are all so friendly & come right up to you. This is one of the best days of our road trip, by far! Absolutely go if you get the chance! You will not regret your decision!

Such an amazing hands on experience. Specially if you're tired of the indoor activities. Venture out of your comfort zone and I say you pay this place a visit. Each admission comes with a 1lb. feed bag, but you can also purchase a 2lb. feed bag for $5+ tax. You get to feed the animals as you drive also they do stick their heads in your vehicle even multiple animals at a time. I just believe this was the best experience ever so far with animals. They are not caged up they are let to roam free such a beautiful purpose. I say if you come across this review consider visiting this place. They also have a gift shop, they sell beverages, snacks, etc., also they have restrooms they are CLEAN!!! As well there is a small box by the entrance where you can leave your spare change.

Awesome experience here! Animals seem very healthy and very well taken care of. Large amount of space for them. Took my mother who has dementia here and she had a blast, those with kids, this is a must go!

We all had so much fun, we couldn't stop smiling. This is definitely one of the best safaris we've ever had. The animals are so calm and friendly. This is a must come place. No one of us regret driving 140miles here. It was a great trip!

Snejana K — Google review

This was a fun trip. There were hundreds of animals to see. Most of them ran to the car and crowded around to be fed the food pellets provided. (More was available for purchase). Many of the animals were bold enough to stick their heads right into the car. Great close-up opportunities for photos. One donkey thought it was a great idea to chew the paint off of my door handles to get more food. :-(They had a chart available for purchase to identify the various animals but I didn’t discover this until afterwards.

Steven J — Google review

Such a fun experience! This was our first safari; lots of zebras, deer, cows, etc. my favorite was the highland cows!I had no idea just how large this park was so we nearly ran out of feed before we even got through the first quarter of the way. They have markers that indicate you’re a 1/4, 1/2, & 3/4 of the way through the park.Watch out for the camels near the end of the safari, it tried to bite our windshield off!

Angeli G — Google review

This place is absolutely beautiful, you should go with your family. I recommend you to take your family here, the trip is worth it. Although is around 3hrs from Houston but we loved it 😍.The only thing is you’re gonna need more than 2 bags of food to feed those incredible animals 🦙 🦓 🦬 🐪, and my husband only got 2 😒 because he was not convinced that we will needed until he was feeding all 🤣🤣 even though he was skeptical 🤨 that he won’t like it , and was true he love it 😍 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Yuliana T — Google review

What a nice little adventure. There are pros and cons but overall, i recommend if you’re in the area. I wouldn’t say it is worth a long commute if you’re driving for the sole purpose of coming here, however if you’re an hour away or so, I recommend.Pros: a decent amount of animal interaction, hands-on feeding of animals, the animals are lively and non-aggressive for the most part, there are certain areas for other cars to pass if needed, a gift shop and restroom in the “welcome center,” they give you one free bag of feed per paid customer, natural terrain that isn’t too difficult for smaller cars, hilarious donkeys, sweet llamas that like attention,Cons: a LOT of different varieties of deer… like other reviewers have stated, the vast majority of animals that are in this mini adventure are types of deer, not a big variety of other animals, for the money would’ve expected a longer “safari”, tiny gift shop with not much to choose from, workers there not very friendly or nice, bigger animals get in middle of road and don’t move at times, the restrooms were nasty but at least they had them available. The zebras were cute and friendly, the llamas were adorable, the camels were aggressive and stole a whole bag of food, so be warned, the big bird looks evil and is nosy, there are a few types that hop alongside your vehicle that are so funny and amusing. It’s not a mind-blowing experience but wasn’t all bad.

Friend M — Google review

First time ever going to one of these! Drove 2 hours away, and I must say it was WELL WORTH IT!! I don’t care what anyone says about it. Well worth it. Prices were good. The animals were amazing!! I didn’t wanna leave!! Ima a big animal person and this was the BEST EXPERIENCE of my life!! I WILL BE BACK!!

Jessica J — Google review

Lots of unique animals to see and interact with. Really enjoyed getting close and feeding the animals. The Bison are huge as are the water buffalo. Although I am not really a big fan of captive animals this is probably the only chance I will have to see these kinds of animals in a relatively natural setting. The animals all look very healthy and have plenty of room to roam. Buy extra bags of food.

ODonekanknobi — Google review

Awesome experience for all of us! Interaction with the animals are so unforgettable experience especially for my daughter. Will definitely come back here later❤️👍🏻

Amazing takes at least 1hr to drive through. Animals all come up to the cars. I absolutely love it and can't wait to go back!

Such an awesome animal drive through!! Absolutely loved all the amazing wildlife that we got to see and feed. I love that they are able to freely roam in such beautiful nature. Pretty scenery and awesome picture opportunities. The staff was very kind as well and we were even able to have a picnic at one of the many picnic tables they have at the front. This is the perfect experience for animal lovers. You learn a lot and are contributing to a great thing for wildlife.

Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary is a well-maintained wildlife refuge that offers natural habitats for rescued lions, tigers, leopards and other big cats. Visitors can enjoy seeing these beautiful creatures in their healthy environment during designated visiting hours and can even take advantage of the on-site cafe. The sanctuary serves as an important place for endangered animals to live out their lives and ensures a future for them that would otherwise be unknown. Donations to the sanctuary also help support the care of these animals.

Tiger Creek is a sanctuary for Tigers. They have beautiful cats!!Due to Covid it closed to public visitors. Might call and check status with staff. Great place .. great people!

Tiger Creek is another must-see in Tyler! The sanctuary is incredibly well-kept with lots of big cats to see! Our guided tour led by Kayla K was the cherry on top. Kayla was a trooper walking us through during the rain while maintaining a smile the entire time. This place is an animal lovers dream!

Janelle A — Google review

It is a bit pricey. But, I justified the expense as supporting the animals in the sanctuary. We went on Monday, and I was disappointed that there are no guided tours (only Wed - Sat this time of year). The "self guided tour" took us about 1.5 hours. But, I left feeling satisfied. At times, we were a mere 4 feet (and 2 fences!) away from these majestic animals.

K K — Google review

We were able to dry camp in their parking lot as part of the cost of entry into the park. We weren’t able to spend a lot of time there, but will stop again to walk through the park and read about the history of each animal they are taking caring for. When you first arrive you think you’re in a zoo. But, there’s something more to this place that seems to make it special. I would recommend this as a good stop if you’re in the Tyler, TX area.

Abner S — Google review

We have been to Tiger Creek twice. The first time we did the guided tour, which I recommend for first-timers. Each of the cats has an interesting story about where it was rescued from. The second time we did a self-guided tour which was nice with a small child. They give you a storybook to use while you walk around, which is a nice touch. As a mom, I was concerned about safety before we went. This place is legit, and the enclosures are safe. Although some of my photos seem to be missing a fence, that is just a camera trick. It is best to go in the cooler parts of the day or in the cooler seasons. The cats are more active.Bring water, and if you have a small child, bring a stroller or wagon. There is a good bit of walking and some of it is uphill. Our 5 year old got hot and tired after a bit.The cats are beautiful and fun, and this is a great experience!

This place is amazing! Being able to see my favorite animal so close was an awesome experience. I definitely recommend the VIP tour to get the best experience it’s very well worth it. The animals look well cared for, healthy, and pretty active. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will be going back😃

Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary is my favorite place in east Texas (other than my Nanny's house). Thanks to donations from amazing donors over the past few years, all the big cats are in large enclosures now. This was a plan/dream of theirs when I had first visited 7 years ago. It was nice to visit old friends and see some new ones. Each animal here has its own story as to why it needed a new loving safe space. Skanda was in a grumpy/talkative mood, but just as beautiful as always, it was great to see him again. 😊 Its primarily large cats like tigers, puma, cougar, lions, but their kind hearts have also taken in some other critters in need. Come get up close with some magnificent creatures and donate to a worthwhile animal sanctuary.

Treece R — Google review

We love visiting these beautiful creatures and helping to donate to their care. With out sanctuaries like Tiger Creek these animals lives and future would be unknown and I feel short. It gives us an opportunity to see these endangered animals in a healthy environment.

Kiepersol Winery is a farm-based establishment that offers wine tasting, spirits distillery, gourmet gifts, and a restaurant. Visitors can also opt to stay in their bed-and-breakfast accommodations. The winery boasts an excellent host who expertly explains the different wine and food pairings during presentations, leaving guests with unforgettable experiences. The family-owned winery provides ample parking and has an open atmosphere that welcomes all visitors.

My wife & I have visited Kiepersol a number of times. We have experienced the tour & history as well as the new tasting hall with the covered porch. We have dining experiences covering weekend breakfast as well as lunch & dinners. We have even experienced an overnight stay. All this is not to brag, but to say that the Kiepersol Experience is why we bring guests and family. The food, attention to detail, courtesy of staff, atmosphere, and story make this place a place to remember. As far a eating goes, start with anything, but I prefer the Duck Cigars. Ask about the history of the gentleman who, at least at my last visit, had cooked each steak I had eaten there. Bananas Foster you say? This one will have you questioning your table manners. Ok, you get the point, just go already. Relax and enjoy!

We went on a girls night out and had such a great time. This place is so beautiful. The staff was so sweet and so helpful on helping us pick the perfect drinks, and they were incredible. The atmosphere was amazing, we sat outside and it was perfect, but they do have a beautiful inside area. We ordered a light snack, but they do offer food. We were dressed very casual and so were most people, but it is a place where you could dress up. I would highly recommend this place.

LOVED my experience! We did the wine tasting (with an amazing host) and it was something I will never forget! To start with, the location- the views all of it no matter the season I think, would be worth the visit. When you first arrive for a tasting of the wines/spirits, there is a woman up front who is amazingly sweet and brings you to the bar.We had Kevin, and he was outstanding when it comes to support and advice towards wines and their pairing. He took amazing care of us for our small lunch with me and my fiance. The tasting area (along with the balcony) are very calm and almost chill. I love this winery and highly suggest adding it to a list of places to visit and experience. Also, Kevin taught us a little on wine that we hadn't known, we look forward to visiting again!

The wine was excellent! Our group had wanted to do the tour but there was only one tour at 1pm. We ended up doing the wine tasting and I had gotten the sweet wine tasting and all the wines were amazing my favorite was the Flight which was delicious. We also had gotten the charcuterie board and the spread was excellent. A+++ a must visit if you are in the area.

If you live in E. TEXAS or you're visiting E. We drove nearly two and a half hours to visit Kiepersol because we’d heard such lovely things about it and had enjoyed the wine we tried previously. What a massive disappointment. The setting, tucked in a residential area, is charming and the weather was glorious. We ordered two tasting flights and a large cheese board upon arrival. Our flights were ready for us in about ten or so minutes and were delightful overall. We particularly enjoyed the Syrah and Merlot. After 30 minutes waiting on our cheeseboard, I went inside to check. Our ticket was indeed lost and I was informed that it would be made immediately. I went back to our table to wait. After another twenty-ish minutes, still no cheeseboard. This time, my husband went in to check. After an hour of waiting, we had our food, and it was not worth the $31 they charge for it. There was not an attempt to rectify the situation. It was so disappointing. We finished our meal and flights and bought two bottles to take home. I don’t know that I would make the drive again or recommend this winery to others. If you plan a visit to Kiepersol, I hope your experience is better than ours.

In the past month, my family and I have visited the Kiepersol Tasting Room and Restaurant and have enjoyed each experience. I would like to thank Kristy and the staff at the Tasting Room for making us feel so welcome. It was an amazing experience with excellent service, a beautiful view of the vineyards, delicious food, and great wine! Thank you for making our Saturday afternoon so enjoyable and relaxing. As for our dinner at the restaurant, it was equally perfect, and Bailee, our waitress, was exceptional. The steaks were cooked to perfection. It was a wonderful evening. Dedicated to service, quality, fantastic wines, and delicious cuisine, Kiepersol and its staff are a true gem of East Texas.

We attended the wine dinner and stayed 2 nights at the B&B. Wines were good, my fave was the Mengsel (red blend). Even the dry wines have a smidge of RS, which seems to be the winemaker’s touch. B&B is very nice, great breakfast, The coffee could be better. We did a blind Merlot tasting a week later - 7 wines from across the globe. The Kiepersol was my #2 and my husband’s #1. Exceeding expectations!

The Tyler Rose Garden is a stunning, expansive public park spanning 14 acres. It boasts over 38,000 rose bushes as well as various other types of flowers and plants. The garden features fountains, gazebos, and walking paths that are perfect for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere while observing the butterflies and birds. Although entry to the garden is free, voluntary contributions are welcomed.

Weather was perfect. Rose's were in bloom. Still bit early for irises etc. It will be spectacular in a week or so! There is a beehive you can look inside. People were painting and taking photos of their children etc. Many areas to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Great family outing.

The rose garden is beautiful, and the largest in the United States. It also has a large flower garden that the local Master Gardeners maintain. Very peaceful. Great place for walks, meditation time, and special occasion pictures. Something is blooming year round. It has water features and a pond with Koi.

Bethanie C — Google review

What a wonderful garden that is FREE to explore. I am generally not a big fan of roses, but this garden is will make you love the bloom! There are all kinds of varieties of roses at this one location. We visited in April and the fragrance and sights were glorious.Great place to host a wedding reception. Cute gift store inside.Highly recommend stopping at this garden. It is thoughtfully laid out so all abilities can enjoy the grounds.

Donna T — Google review

This garden was impressive. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was that the roses are out of season so in regard to seeing roses, there were only trimmed bushes. However there are many other plants along the walk ways and the fountains and ponds are quite peaceful.

Petrus S — Google review

Beautiful place to go and see all the roses if you're in the area. There are dozens of different types of roses and it was perfect to walk through on an overcast day. Some of the roses were not doing particularly well, but it has been a brutally hot summer this year so that's not surprising. They have a honey bee observation hive which is pretty cool as you can open it up and see all the bees. Definitely a neat place to visit and it's free to walk through the outdoor rose garden.

Angela N — Google review

The roses are not kept up well this time of year. However, the side gardens are nice and worth the visit, which is free. There are places to sit in the shade in the various side gardens, and areas, and the Idea Garden (Master Gardener area) is really nice.

Kevin T — Google review

Always heard about it but never visited. We enjoyed all the beautiful colors of the roses and plants!Saw a few bees and butterflies busy at work pollinating .Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the fresh aroma of the garden. Not for picnicking, not a good place for pets (except the obvious service dogs).Restroom was inside bldg and down a long hallway, very clean.

I've always loved the Tyler Rose Gardens. Have been visiting there since I was a young child, with my parents and grandparents, over 45 years. I now visit yearly with my daughter, who loves it as much as I do. The layout is so beautiful. Along with the gorgeous, multitudinous roses, are rolling green lawns, lovely fountains, a small pond, and large shade trees with many benches to sit and relax while enjoying the gardens. Inside the rose center are a museum, a lovely gift shop, and very nice restrooms. One can spend hours wandering the many areas of these pretty, well maintained gardens.

Karen G — Google review

This is a beautiful free garden… Although voluntary contributions are excepted and appreciated. It’s most famous for the roses, yet there are a variety of other flowers. There are many places that you can sit and watch the butterflies and birds. It’s a very peaceful place and would encourage you to go for a visit to this beautiful oasis in East Texas.

Pamela M — Google review

Great place! Visited it in late May, the roses mostly stopped blooming, but the botanical garden was full of flowers of all kinds. Beautiful landscaping, lots of shade with benches and picnic tables under tall trees, interpretive signage throughout the garden. Very educational and enjoyable at the same time! Free admission. Small museum within the visitor center has fee.

Irene P — Google review

Huge gardens full of roses. Went in mid-late May and there were still plenty of roses in bloom. Took about an hour to stroll through with some breaks. It is wheelchair accessible and plenty of benches to take a rest and photos. Admission is free, but donations accepted. Nice, small gift shop, but the cashier seemed to be more preoccupied talking with a friend that came in than assisting us customers buying things. I literally waited with things in my hand while she just continued chatting with the friend, exchanging phone numbers. It's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

J C — Google review

It was bigger than I expected and so many varieties of roses and other plants. I would say that it's a great place to take a book and relax! The sound of the fountains, the birds....very relaxing. Everything wasn't full bloom yet, but if you like the outdoors, it's something to see. I definitely want to go back during peak time!

K C — Google review

Such a nice garden. The ground is well kept. Plenty of other types of flowers although the roses haven't bloomed yet during the time we visited. This is a photo op place. It also has a small museum and gift shop. We will come back when roses are in season. It has about 10-15 parking spaces. I am not sure if there's additional parking spaces somewhere to accommodate the busy season.

Tracy — Google review

We enjoyed the free entry to the 14-acre park with more than 38,000 rose bushes plus fountains, gazebos & walking paths love the gardens, gift shop and museum! The roses are a sweet smelling once you walk outside to the garden from the museum. The history of the Tyler roses and activities are interesting to learn about at your own pace. A must to check out the shop which has interesting beautiful souvenirs and gifts.

James R — Google review

Arrived in late May, Plenty of blooms still on the bushes. Be observant and look at the fountain from 1912, and a Rose named after Ringo Starr. Plenty of photo opportunities. Lots of spaces with shade.

Ivor C — Google review

We are pleasantly surprised to see all the beautiful roses on an early December day! The ground is beautiful. Not only the impressive roses collection, but also the autumn colors in the meditation garden. It definitely worth of the drive to visit!!

Wen-Mei C — Google review

Beautiful flower garden, has a museum as well but we skipped that. There are even active bat and bird houses around the property as well. Cool photo opportunity with the TYLER letters.

Julie W — Google review

This is one of the most beautiful gardens I've had the opportunity to visit. The roses are amazing and the grounds are filled with photo opportunities. It's best to plan for at least 1.5 hours for your visit. There are various sections to the garden, so be sure to grab a map. Tucked under a few trees and throughout the garden are relaxing pockets to sit and take it all in. I have found the best time to visit is late September to October. It's not as hot and the flowers blooming.

Gwendolyn H — Google review

Beautiful, the air smelled of fresh roses. A very peaceful place to roam around and enjoy the serenity. Also, quite a few places to sit down and relax.

Tracey S — Google review

It was gorgeous. Although it was first day of spring and inky a few roses on the bushes there was lots of other blooms. Enjoyed the museum and gift shop too

My family decided to go on a spontaneous trip to Tyler last Saturday. When we got there I googled "Tyler, TX", and this place popped up. So we went there expecting it to cost money, but to our surprise, it was free! Absolutly beautiful place to go to. I will absolutly keep coming back here. This is the perfect place for venues and Date nights alike!

Zoos & Aquariums

Caldwell Zoo is a well-maintained park spread over 85 acres, featuring around 2,000 animals from North and South America as well as Africa. The natural habitats are recreated to provide a comfortable environment for the animals. The zoo offers up-close views of the animals, unlike some other zoos where finding them can be challenging. Visitors can enjoy interactive experiences like feeding birds and giraffes.

Beautiful zoo! Very well kept. We were able to get through the zoo (adults without kids) in 2 hours. I liked how to at this zoo the views of the animals were up close and the way the enclosures are designed gives good viewings of the animals (vs at some zoos it's really difficult to see/find the animals). There's a nice area to sit (and eat) that overlooks the giraffe and elephant area. Would definitely come by again when in the area.

Marcy S — Google review

We have visited many zoos across the US including San Diego and the National Zoo in DC and we LOVED the Caldwell zoo. It’s the perfect size - all exhibits are very accessible in a single trip.We enjoyed seeing the animals up close (feeding the giraffes is amazing!) and were able to spend enough time in each section to see the animals go about their routines. The bird feeding area is lovely. Seeing all those colorful birds flit about is sure to bring a smile to your face. This is a fantastic place for kids of all ages (we saw so many families with young kids).

Harshal C — Google review

This is a smaller zoo, so you won't see stuff like you do in the big cities like Dallas or Houston. However, I enjoyed my visit here. I was extremely excited to see the rhinoceros. The park was very clean, The staff was friendly, and it was pretty easy to see almost all the animals. It's a nice walk, but if you're going to go in the summertime I recommend you get there when they open at 9:00 a.m.

Al M — Google review

This is a true gem. This is one of the nicest zoos that we have ever been to visit. The place is set up very well and it is easy to navigate all three of the areas that make up the zoo. The animals seem to be well cared for and have ample area to roam in, more like a natural habitat than in most zoos, where they seem more like exhibits. This allows them to be themselves, and it is a great sight to see. The landscaping is excellent, easily one of the best jobs anywhere. The entire zoo is awash in colour so vivid that in some walkways the landscaping is the attraction and complements the areas splendidly. The concessions are well placed and decently priced, with friendly staff and a very clean area. There is even an opportunity to feed the giraffes if you are just a bit adventurous. The entire zoo seems to encourage appreciation of the animals and their habitats with an emphasis on education and conservation. The prices for everything from admission to concessions to souvenirs are very reasonable and are a great value for the price. I, and we, would highly recommend this zoo above many others to visit both for the diversity of wildlife and for the beautiful landscaping. This is a definite gem - don't overlook this, treasure it.

Had the best time ever! What a cool zoo!The entrance is beautiful with lots of steps to climb down. You walk straight into the flamingo exhibit and they are gorgeous and fun.We started at the rhino pin where the handlers were feeding the rhino there.Giraffes, elephants, cool birds! So many things to see.We got to see a beautiful Lion and Lioness, also a white tiger I believe playing with a ball in the water. The penguins are adorable and one continued to play in the water right by the glass. The kids loved these exhibits.Lots and lots of walking, did maybe about 6000 steps. The gift shop was fun and they had lots of options and some really great plushies! They even had small plastic frogs and lizards for 25 cents, so even if the kids don't have a lot of money, they could get a small toy or pencil for under a dollar.10 out of 10 recommend!

Nina H — Google review

Highly recommend this Zoo! They are adding a whole new section and always have everything open. Very kid friendly. Free parking. We love this Zoo 🐘🦒🦁

Ashton G — Google review

Great medium sized zoo. Perfect for a good day trip. We were surprised and impressed that they have so many elephants, giraffes, and even a beautiful Rhino!Food prices are way too high, and it's sad that we just kind of have to accept it. Really looking forward to seeing the new exhibits and petting zoo or the kids. It's looking great!

Mark B — Google review

Very little crowding and cute exhibits. Also, sidenote the flowers and landscaping done throughout was just beautiful especially the plants near the bird exhibit.

Destinee H — Google review

This zoo is a unique gem in Northeast Texas. My family visited the zoo to experience the April, 8th 2024 total eclipse and we were not sure what to expect of the zoo, except that all of the reviews were good! We arrived and immediately realized they were true. The crowd levels were low, the animal exhibits were lovely, the food was good, and we were able to see everything the zoo had to offer without rushing or wearing ourselves out. We were very happy with our visit and we will go back next time we are in the area to experience the South America expansion currently being built!

Andrea C — Google review

The zoo is small, but nice. Lots to interact with. There's a spot where you can feed birds, another where you can feed the giraffes. So much to see, my family and I really enjoyed our visit.

Kasia S — Google review

I visited on a Friday afternoon around 2:15pm. The zoo closes at 3:30 on weekdays. Be prepared for walkways with winding curves and steep inclines. The animals were out and busy for the most part. There were several animal habitats that were empty with no sign explaining why. The zoo needs resources to build up its exhibits, educational offerings, and landscaping. There were plenty of restrooms throughout and a large covered food court with seating near the zebras and elephants. This would work well for a birthday party. There was a lot of unused grounds displaying nothing but tall grasses and trees. This zoo would appeal to young children, the 50+ crowd, or those looking for a good walking or jogging workout.

TD K — Google review

This zoo was a great place to take my family. It is not too large but big enough to have lots of animals with plenty of space them to not be crammed. My girls loved feeding the giraffes as bell as the birds. The Cafe is poised in a good spot to eat and view the giraffes 🦒 and elephants 🐘. My family loves to visit zoos of all sizes around the country and this one is a top performer for the smaller zoos. Will be back in the future for sure

Stone S — Google review

We absolutely love this zoo! We went recently and the weather was beautiful, but we have been before where it was so HOT. THANKFULLY, they have walk ways that are covered by vines and what not. Very friendly staff and security. Will continue to make this a day vacation spot for us! 🫶🏼

Ashley B — Google review

We were in Tyler from Dallas and decided to stop by here. It was cold, so there were only maybe 2 other families at the zoo. We had such a great time, it’s a small zoo but we loved how close you get to the lions and tigers. We’ll definitely be back.

Linda E — Google review

Wish there were more cats but the zoo was well maintained and beautiful. Great selection of animals. Will definitely return. Buy your tickets in advance online. You won’t have to wait in line that long.

Joseph R — Google review

We went around 11am the day before Easter. Park staff was friendly and helpful with giving us the best route thru the park. We were told to head left thru the construction that is going on first. We were told going left would allow us to walk down their steepest hills. There are leaf and paw prints pressed into the cement path that kids seemed to really enjoy "tracking". I watched others struggle heading back the opposite way from us (up hill) and our group was barely winded. Glad we took the park employees advice. 😆

Stephanie V — Google review

Always enjoy taking the family here. Miss the good old days when admission was free. Construction in some areas. Wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even security knows the animals by name.

Jessica B — Google review

Love this zoo (smaller than Dallas and Fort Worth zoo). It's shaded and easy to get around. The structures and the exhibits are beautiful. They are adding on to the zoo to bring in more animals. Definitely worth checking out.

Tracey S — Google review

We really enjoy coming here. I don't end up seeing the giraffes around half the time, so I need to figure out their schedule. 😆 My wife always says this zoo is better than the Dallas zoo. Overall, I'm really glad that Tyler has a zoo! We have been here around 10 times, and we have always enjoyed ourselves! We enjoy taking family members and friends here for a nice walk around the zoo. The food is actually pretty good as well!EDIT!!! If the ground is too wet, then you won't be able to feed the giraffes! The giraffes' schedules are from 9:30-11:45 and from 1:15-3:00 when the ground is dry. 🦒

Marc C — Google review

I have always enjoyed this zoo. It isn't huge, but you see quite a few of my favorite animals. I was skeptical about visiting while the weather was cooler, but the animals were out and viewable. Wonderful birthday trip for my 3 year old, and my 2 year old also enjoyed it.

Corina K — Google review

The smaller zoos always make for the best experiences. While the zoo itself wasn’t what I’m used to (like Dallas and Ft. Worth zoo) it was a good thing to not have to walk miles to see the different animals like you would at a standard zoo.We also had the pleasure of participating in an encounter with the baby animals. This included my family of 5 getting to play with baby monkeys, armadillos, and a baby goat. Such an awesome and unique experience!! I would love to return.

Rebecca — Google review

It’s small but lots to see and I can’t wait till they finish the Amazon River !! The staff are amazing and helpful! Everyone was so friendly! When walking around visiting don’t forget to say Hi to Joe !! He was a friendly staff member ! Great place over all !!

Virgie — Google review

We loved visiting the Caldwell Zoo. The Africa exhibit was our favorite. We appreciated that it was a smaller zoo because our little ones couldn’t last at a big zoo! The only downside is the indoor exhibits were too crowded to get through and some had an unbearable smell.

The views were amazing. The drive was very nice from the metroplex. The guides were very helpful along the way. They really made you feel comfortable before each zipline run. The whole atmosphere was very inviting and welcoming. Had plenty of opportunities to take pictures and views. Definitely recommend going with a few people, the more the better the experience. Extremely professional and courteous.

My girlfriend and I went out here and were welcomed by a very friendly staff. The operation here is very efficient and orderly. Big stand out here is that you are spending most of the time zip lining, with very minimum walking/hiking between lines (if any).We went during a little chilly morning but warmed up pretty quick.

Victor M — Google review

Very fun and the guides are top rate. They are super helpful to ease adults not so "excited" to Zipline. They make this place for sure. They keep you laughing and enjoying the entire event!! Will be back again and again. Book the 9 Zipline for sure. We did the 6 and was bummed it was over after 6. Next time will be the 9 and everytime after. Way more fun than you're thinking it is!!!

Absolutely incredible! Amazing views, great staff! The owner was absolutely one of the sweetest ladies. Loved her dearly. Will highly recommend and we will be back! Great family fun outing 👌

The owners are very friendly and full of knowledge about the local area. You need to make a reservation for the ziplines, we were just checking it out for future plans. Beautiful views, but pictures do not reflect them. Check this out and have fun.

Amazing! Definitely definitely don't second-guess yourself and do the nine lines you will not be disappointed the tour guys are amazing the zip lining is amazing everything about this place is great! So worth it.

We went with a group and let me tell you this was an INCREDIBLE experience!! The views are stunning, the zip line itself was so fun and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the staff! The young men that were working were all incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and made you feel super comfortable. At one point my son didn’t really want to continue but they knew just how to handle it and get him back zip lining and having a blast! The safety measures taken are 5 star!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

Autumn S — Google review

I would have given more star to this business if there were more.Absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful experience with this family owned business. We highly recommend this zip line for beginners to expert and it is just 2 hours from Dallas. They have 15 -20 minutes training for kids before the real zip-line experience which helped my girls (6 & 8 yrs old) as it was their very first time. Carson and his team were very patient with kids and made this enjoyable for all. My 8 years old ended up doing 9 line course. 😊Also, very accommodating and thoughtful as we booked the experience but got late because of the storm on the way . Carson and his team provided best customer experience and with no extra fee they rescheduled us for the next day zip-line. Also, suggested nearby places and activities with kids.

My wife, son and granddaughter spent the most wonderful afternoon on 3/10/2024 at Texas Zipline adventures. The staff welcomed us as soon as we stepped out of our car. The guides were all young but were so polite and took our safety very serious. We enjoyed the pictures that Miss connie took as well. Maybe adding an video option that we could attach to the helmets would be nice as well. If you want to step out of your comfort zone this is the place to go.thanks.

Where do I even begin? If Google allowed one 10 star review in the lifetime of my email, New York, Texas Zip Line Adventures would take the title. Aiden welcomed us and set us up for success. It felt like we’ve known Aiden, Christian, Carson, Carson, and Connie for years. They were all so kind, professional, personable, and SUCH a fun time. Their operations, setup, safety measures, and organization was top notch. As a woman who runs a successful, growing business, I was impressed from start to finish. This is a memory that we will forever cherish. The location and zip lining played a huge role in that, but this team equally impressed us and made this day unforgettable.

Mia G — Google review

I’ve been zip lining in Alaska, Mexico, and Canada. This was hands down, the best experience. This wasn’t solely because of the scenery and courses, which are absolutely thrilling and stunning, but what stood out was the incredible hospitality. My friend and I were welcomed by Carson, and immediately felt like a part of their pack. The course instructors , Wheeler, Christian, and Cooper were friendly and equally as stoked during our experience. I will definitely be returning! Thanks y’all!

Liana B — Google review

We found this place from watching RV Unplugged episode #2. We traveled to Louisiana and had no real plans to go to Texas. However, it was my daughter’s 16 birthday so being only 3 hrs away we went for it. Carson was awesome as I had contacted him earlier in the week to check things out as far as reservations go. It was super easy and we decided on the 9 line which took us about 2.5 hrs, however, we had a large group for the first 6 lines. It was so well done. All the guys and Mom were super friendly and explained about the area and how the lines came to be. From short lines to the longest 1500’ line, they were all awesome.

Stephen H — Google review

Friendly folks, easy to find, good value for the money. Ample parking and well organized check in. Highly recommend!

Tibor T — Google review

Absolutely an amazing experience. These are just some of the greatest people on earth. One of the Top places for recreational activities near DFW. The zip lines were high quality. The view is amazing. Their comment to safety is great. Each guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Carson was great to be around and talk with. He was awesome at motivating the kids in our group.I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a fun and exciting experience. We will definitely be back. Plus we need to hangout with Brutus again.

Chantal and her team are amazing!!! We had such an amazing experience. I tried scheduling massages and facials the week that we were going and she made it work for us. She was in constant communication with me and kept me updated. We were greeted with some really refreshing drinks and with her team ready. I definitely would go back here! The atmosphere was so relaxing and just truly enjoyed our experience. Thank you Chantal for the wonderful experience!! 5 stars for sure!!

I almost hate to say how good my experience at The Retreat has been because I don't want to compete for appointment times. Chantal is very accommodating and follows up to ensure everything runs smoothly. Jeremiah is very professional and finds all of those hidden spots that you don't even realize hurt until they don't anymore. My husband and I now consider ourselves as "regulars" and would never willingly miss an appointment.

Chantal, Stephanie (Massage Therapist), Kristen(Esthetician) were SUPER FABULOUS and knew what they were doing! Very professional and friendly. They accommodated my request for the Delightful Package for my sister and me on New Years Day morning. After a challenging 2021, I wanted to start the new year off "right" for us and The Retreat came through! They made that a reality for us! They are the BEST!

I was impressed by Chantels empathy towards my situation and shuffled some appointments around to relieve my issue. Like everywhere that's 5 star they are normally booked week in advance. Her many years being in the profession shines through from "hello" to handing back the credit card. I highly recommend being a good experience with lasting results.

Hands down the best Spa in Athens… Chantal is the sweetest, best massage therapist!!! About a year ago I called their spa in a lot of pain, she was booked up, but stayed late one night to fit me in! Ever since then I see her monthly, for a great massage!

We chose the Retreat for a lady's birthday weekend get-away. The owner, Chantal, went above and beyond to help coordinate our Special Spa day! The facials and massages were excellent! Every woman who attended said it was one of the best spa experiences they'd ever experienced. We don't live in the area, but we'll be back. Thank you for making our celebration so memorable!!💗

I've been coming here for 8 months now. Chantal is amazing! She works with my ever changing schedule (even very last minute changes). She's very good about reminder texts! And the massages! Omg, she's brilliant! I can't give a review of anyone else because Chantal is the only one I've seen! Why shop around if I found a great one? The spa is very warm, inviting and homey! Not a "clinical" experience! Will definately keep coming here!

Flea & Street Markets

Time-tested flea market open four days monthly selling antiques, collectibles & other unique goods.

This place is huge!!! There is a whole other section about a couple blocks outside the actual Market for Animals!! Be warned you may be tempted to leave with one.. we did ha! They do have atms and there are restrooms throughout the park. Be sure to grab one of the little newspapers they have a market map in the middle. Have fun!

Niki P — Google review

So much fun!!! Canton First Monday Trade days is a great pickers paradise!Anything and everything you can imagine. New or old. It’s probably 50% old rusty dusty goodies to dig thru and 50% new items, such as hats, t shirts, purses. A lot of Hobby Lobby type decor. You definitely want to rent a scooter. Not kidding about this!! This place is massive!! IMy scooter rent was $60 for the entire day. Yes, it’s pricey but you’ll thank me later. Also take a big shopping bag just to keep things together.Food and drinks are always pricey so take bottled water and just get ice. All kinds of food but again, pricey!! Eat before you go or take snacks.Bartering!!! Yes!! Love to barter for a good price! Most everyone Was taking reasonable offers. So don’t be afraid to ask. Now this is for the flea market items. I didn’t buy the clothes or Hobby Lobby type stuff, so I don’t know about those folks when bartering, doubtful tho.Parking was either $5-$10 per day.Go on a the first day they are open. Good Lord at the difference a day makes!! Like night and day difference!! Go early!!If you buy a big item, too big for a scooter to haul, they’ll give you a pickup pass to drive to pick it up. Ask the vendor and they tell you about it.Most of all…. Have fun!! You won’t be disappointed!!Check their website for the dates.

Jeanette I — Google review

This market is HUGE. It’s so fun and such a great experience! There are many food options and vendors. I recommend to take a wagon, comfortable shoes, and sunscreen! There is a map available and scooter rentals! My favorite unique find was a vendor that did pet portraits!! Parking lot is $10. The restroom are very cleaned!

Heidy C — Google review

***This is a very biased review***. I LOVE Flea Markets and searching for a deal and people watching. If you like flea markets, finding fun deals, walking and meeting people then take a Friday or Saturday and go visit Canton. Parking was $10. Lots of food options, (we brought our own though). We were there for about five hours and saw probably about 60% of the vendors. Lots and lots to look at. Make sure you bring a cart or wagon and lots of water! Most vendors prefer cash. Only one of the vendors was overtly rude and salty. Everyone else was very personable and pleasant. My favorite was the coins. Tons of unique things, plants for planting, craftsman creations, vinyl, books, clothes, Christmas decorations, homemade salsa, furniture, jewelry, guns, etc. Take a truck or van if you are the type to find large items for purchase. If you want there are carts, buggies, and motorized scooters for rent. One of the vendors said that they can get up to 50k people on a heavily visited weekend. I figure on the day we visited it was probably a quarter of that.

This place is HUGE! I had so much fun and spent way too much money and ate way too much food. All kinds of booths out there. It was so big I couldn't cover it all. Ready to go back though. While there I ate at Joe Mama's for breakfast and lunch was at Wings and Things and loved their strawberry and grape lemonade. They also had bacon bombs and nachos. Ten bucks to park.

Amanda D — Google review

Unique finds! Personalized items and great gifts! Tons of seasonal decor too. Come early and have your walking shoes on😄 this place is just great!! Most parking cost $5 even for close up!

Ashton G — Google review

First visit ever and we had a good time celebrating our 25th Anni-V here! Hubby knows all I need is an ENORMOUS flea market and I'm good, lol! 😆 Only "complaint" is: There's no clear cut walking paths to this huge place. Everything's- EVERYWHERE and you end up getting confused IF you've been down this way or that way. So, you don't get to really see it all. Ended up buying two out of the five items pictured and if I had planned this mini "get-a-way" trip right, renting a U-HAUL, I WOULD have bought them all!!! I'll DEFINITELY be back for those DOORS! Wait for me! 😄

Worlds largest and oldest trade days/ flea market. Over 200 acres of outdoor and indoor Pavillion shopping. Everything from junk and antiques to hand carved furniture, home decor, clothing, fine jewelry and everything you could imagine. Think of it as the State fair mixed with a shopping mall of the best kind with food, shopping, fun, people and entertainment. Occurs each month on the Thursday-Sunday weekend that is attached to the first monday of the month. They even have " dog alley" that sells every breed of pup imaginable plus livestock!

Lori A — Google review

First Monday Trade Days in Canton has Acres and acres of pretty much anything you could want to find. Plenty of indoor shopping now for those not so great weather days. First Monday is one of the oldest and largest outdoor markets and is visited each month by people from across the US.

This place is AWESOME! when my sister described it to me it sounded like a giant garage sale. Was surprised to find a TON of new things from furniture to tools to clothes and everything in between, it's a four hour drive for us but I am definitely going back

Adan B — Google review

This was our first time visiting Texas. Our Airbnb host told us about this AMAZING event! Over 5,000 vendors! It is HUGE!!! GET THERE EARLY! Mob scene of humanity. There is absolutely something for everyone at this location. There are lots of food vendors as well. The atmosphere was very fun. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. I am so glad we went.

Donna T — Google review

Our first time here and all I have to say is 1100 vendors in one place! 10$ to get in and do a bit of research because there is an art to coming here for this event! Vets park free! We liked the West gate entrance for ease of parking!

Tinker S — Google review

Hands down a fabulous experience! Vendors were friendly & it was fun to barter. Food everywhere was incredible! So much to see. In a little over 3 hours we scratched the surface on a quarter of it!

Teri M — Google review

From trinkets to dogs and exotic birds to antiques to plants and much much more in between you can pretty much find everything here! Great place to spend a day and hunt down hidden gems around this giant flea market.

Citlali C — Google review

This place is supposed to be the biggest place you can come like a farmer's market / flea market but it was very professional massively huge supposed to be the biggest in the world. I got a chance to come out here hang around and see a lot of good people and food and good vendors. If you were a vendor you could actually shower here and had restrooms all over the place. I would suggest anyone to come out here at least once in their lifetime and come check it out it is worth it.

Went to First Monday Trade Days *World's largest).. for the show that began the Friday Before April , 24 .. it was great as always. Found some Treasures such as a Large Round Metal Decorative Stand I used to Corral the Products on my Bathroom Vanity. Took a Brochure home where a Vendor takes a Photo and turns it into Graphic Art! Found some Linen Swimsuit Toppers..light airy Beautiful texture. Ate good food. Lots of Snacks and Drinks available. Bathrooms plentiful. Also there is Acres of used Flea Finds.. omg... you won't believe it. It is a big Treasure Hunt..definitely worth the Trip!! Victoria

Victoria S — Google review

Place is huge and didn't feel like I thought it was going to be. A lot of walking understandable there were some cool things that seemed very pricey and junk not garage sale prices. Then the buildings stalls seemed like infomercial stuff a lot of knockoffs. There were some authentic vendors like the honey, leather and but mostly china feel anyway im sure the place was good for most just not what i thought it be..such as a state fair homemade, treasures type anyway. Huge place maybe ill try another time.

Elizabeth L — Google review

This is such a huge market.. You will find just about anything you need..Can't see it all in a day..November and December are the busiest months, getting ready for Christmas.. Great place to go !!!

Lynnel B — Google review

Best piece of advice is to park far away from the main gate so that when you go to leave you won't be stuck in a field while other people won't let you in the flow of traffic. Bring your best walking shoes, plenty of water, a hat and sunglasses, and a cart if you plan on shopping. The food is amazing and some of the deals are unparalleled. If you are able to make to the lighting and chandelier booth they are my favorite. They always have excellent deals on fancy lights for fixing up your home.Highly recommend stopping to get a 1/2 lb Angus burger for $8, and I saw a red velvette funnel cake with cream cheese icing, the lady eating it swore we would have to try. All in all it was amazing experience for the whole family!

Outlet mall

Shopping-mall chain featuring a variety of brand-name & designer outlet stores.

Great place to get affordable name brand clothes. I like going to buy my dress clothes there. Like Haggar and Van Hausen. There’s spot to choose from no matter your gender or you age, you’ll find something you like here at a great price.

Mikey R — Google review

Nice small outdoor outlet mall with some basic stores in Terrell right off of Interstate 20. Unfortunately some of the stores from years ago have closed. Still nice to go for a walk and do a little shopping 🛍.

Ash M — Google review

This place is expensive. This used to be Tanger Mall, an outlet mall. They had reasonable prices. But now it is more expensive than anywhere else. Much better prices at other retailers online or at brick and mortar stores.

Brian P — Google review

Great place to shop for clothes and shoes. Also has a nice oddities and games store.

John M — Google review

My family and I spent the day shopping and having a wonderful time. Everyone was pleasant and very helpful except for Sun Riot. The owner/employee was extremely rude. We'll definitely be back but never to this store.

Cindy A — Google review

The shopping was slow when I was there because the stores had just opened for the day. I will have to stop in the future to do some shopping. That day was sooooo cold I had to get to Irving!!

Stephanie C — Google review

Went there to see what was there. Most stores close at 7p. So I was not able to go in many places. The Old Navy is large. Nike has a good selection. Crocs seems to always have a sale when I visit. And you can always find out what's going on in Terrell as they do promote the city rather well.

Charles T — Google review

There were some good stores here. Hmbut I wish there were more. It is a nice little outlet mall, but bit enough there foe me to drive all the way out there too often.

Tanya — Google review

Our family loves this shopping center. It's got great stores and I've never seen it very busy or crowded. The kids love the little coin ride-on cars etc outside

Shannon B — Google review

Something needs to be done at the Terrell Texas location. The mall manager is an absolute joke! He did away with the security guard. There are no cameras. I know of one store that has been hit 3 weeks in a row for over a thousand each time. None of the shops are properly maintained. Stores have to set out buckets when it rains. Yall need to quit listening to his lies about how "good" the budget is and check with the few stores that are actually still there. Before you have to close your doors permanently seeing how 2miles away there is another shopping center that is thriving.

Bobby P — Google review

Went to Carters. Bought some summer outfits for my granddaughter. Found lots of cute shirts. Staff very polite and friendly.

I love coming here still even though Crossroads has arrived I love the coziness and feel of The shops and I hope you give it back more life

Diana W — Google review

The food is good.My only complaint is they are stingy with their tortillas. When you order something that requires tortillas you should get enough to eat it. 3 tortillas with the queso flamado is not enough

Angela F — Google review

Been going here since I was young the shops change often but they are always good

Sadie B — Google review

Not too many stores left in this location. The scrub store was nice. Old navy had a good clearance sale that day.

Michele C — Google review

Went to eat at mariachi. Parking plentiful. Prices not great but doable at some of the stores. Be better if there was something going on outside every 3 or 4 stores. Pretty boring to walk around.

Mel M — Google review

Great place to shop! Lots of stores to choose from, the places I visited were clean!

Lorinda S — Google review

Heavily shopped on the week of the Eclipse. Reebok, Maurices, Sketchers, nike...just to name a few. Bucees is right close as are a few restaurants.

Rainman C — Google review

The individuals at the Nike store were amazing! I actually did not know I could wear a child's shoe. I saved over $150.00!!!I will definitely be back!!!

Tania A — Google review

They had great sales going on at the Old Navy outlet this weekend. Got a lot of great deals.

Just Don't care for this place mostly things for women. Prices are too high. The name is stupid, just because bureaucrats can't agree on a name.

We did a trail ride at Broken Bow the morning of the April 8 total eclipse, then hung out at the ranch to enjoy the eclipse. Really great experience that we’ll remember forever. Was the first time on a horse for my 7-year-old; he really enjoyed it and is eager to ride horses again. This place is a gem, highly recommend it!

My daughter wanted to do a trail ride for her birthday so we booked this location it was fun all the kids had a great time. Horses are very friendly and sweet. Friendly staff

Nunu G — Google review

My sister was in town visiting and wanted to go for a trail ride. She has been riding most of her life, and my daughter and mother are beginners. I have been on a horse a few times but am no rider. All of us had a great time. The ranch is full of wooded trails and gently rolling hills, the dogs keep you company all along the ride and there are horses grazing throughout. Our geldings were old but spry, our guide was easygoing and even let us trot for a spot. Highly recommend - best trail ride I have been on for fun.

Andrea V — Google review

Me, my daughter, son and mom trail riding yesterday, 1/26/2022, was a great experience, trail guide was friendly and answered all of our questions no problem, even took a picture of us on his phone and text me the pictures. all the pups I met, Jack, oreo and chopper were friendly. Will be returning and even looking into horse back riding lessons for my daughter soon. Horses are free ranged so while you wait for the trail guide Jeff you get the best view of all their off duty horses grazing and will be greeted by Jeff's dog jack with wags.

Very disappointed with this excursion :/. My best friend and I came from out of state to visit Dallas for her birthday. One thing she really wanted to do was horseback riding. We found this place that promised and said “Enjoy a trail ride with an experienced trail guide, spotting wildflowers and grazing cows or scampering squirrels and wildlife. Rest alongside the historic Trinity River under the shade of ancient oaks” which was not the case when we arrived. Also my friend got on her horse, and the workers all called it “a lazy horse” and “a slow horse”. When we started the trail my friends horse walked slowly and was very behind in the ride. It was not an enjoyable experience. For me, I got a “normal” horse, however the trail ride itself was very stressful, sharp branches everywhere, mud and poop. My hat fell off at one point. My friend trailed way behind and we didn’t even wait for her. It was a stressful experience. My friend did not get what she wanted. So after the ride, she emailed the company, and the owner reached out. We talked to the owner the next day. She felt terrible and promised a refund. However my friend has not received a refund to this day. Very disappointed, we ended up riding in Austin the day after. And had a much better time.

Daniela D — Google review

The ride was nice even though the bridles were all made from rope which seemed cheap. The barn was a messs it had a broken door look like a horse kicked thru it, stuff piled in the corners and the floor had round metal peace’s sticking up an inch every 10 to 15 feet where old stalls had been removed. The bathroom was an outhouse and the gate for the road needs to be marked and open better. The staff are extremely nice and patient and the horses are friendly. We paid $80 a piece and there were nine of us. We expected a little more.

My boyfriend and I scheduled a trail ride for our anniversary. We had an incredible time. Jeff was very friendly and made us feel like long time friends. We can’t wait to schedule another one and bring some family/friends a long.

Visited Broken Bow Ranch for a Bachelorette Party - had an AMAZING time! The ranch, the people, the horses - we had the best time. If we ever get a chance- we will definitely come back. Highly recommend if you want an authentic ranch experience and you love nature and animals. Special thanks to Gay Lee and Jeff!

We visited Broken Bow Ranch with a homeschool group and had the best time! We loved how many different activities the kids got to do. The ride was awesome, and then archery, fishing, and roping! We can't wait to go back!!

Amanda L — Google review

This was such a great Horseback riding experience for us. I loved the place, the people were really nice. We booked from phone, paid in advance for party of four. By cousins visited from Florida so wanted to give them some texan feel and this place was perfect for them. We did the trail riding which in itself was a great experience and the trail up and down was really beautiful. They even lent us cowboy hats to take pictures. My uncle and aunt didn’t do the horseback riding but they loved the Ranch experience. They also conduct some Summer Camps for kids. The place is perfect for family, couples or even if you just want to get the experience by yourself. The horses were really nice and the instructors were very helpful.

A good number of shops (~120 they say) offer lots of apparel and some beauty products. I missed electronics and other hardware and truly great offers, but then again...there are probably better shopping days if you have the flexibility to pick them.

Great selection of branded stores and designers shops are available at this premium outlet. It is similar to the West Edmonton Mall stores in Canada but just that the singularity of each stores makes the store massive and bigger than several shopping malls. There is also ample parking lots...

A great spot to shop and pick-up last minute items when you realize you forgot to pack a few things!(ok more than a few but who’s counting). The NAUTICA store was the chosen spot and I picked up everything I needed! I’m typically not a fan of outlets but I think I’ll make an exception!

A real diamond in the rough and one honey of an outlet shopping mall to do your bidding. Armani. Bath and Body Works. Samsonite Suitcases. Clark Shoes and so so much more! Loads of places to shop til you drop or eat until you fall asleep!? Come one. Come all to Allen Premium Outlets Mall, but come early and plan to stay late y'all! Otherwise YOU WILL get; lost, run over or shouted down in the hustle and bustle of the busy North Texas Shopper dear friends! Nice place though.

David D — Google review

Lots of brand outlets. Pretty exhaustive to cover in a day 🤪, but really liked the options here for shopping. For such a place was expecting more no. Of restaurants but there are handful only.

Anurag P — Google review

Parking is an issue during long weekend sales. You will have hard time not only finding parking but also good sales. Looks like online has a better deals than in store shopping. Definitely avoid if you are plan to just shop and not spend time with family and roam around. As shopping deals are better online plus you will spend good amount of time traveling if you are not close to this place, waste gas and time ( matters the most) . I experienced a generic sales scheme and didn’t find it worth going over hereBut upto to each individual. Like I said if it’s just shopping then avoid !!

Vinay — Google review

When I went to this mall on the weekend a lot of people took forever to find parking. But you can see every store at this mall that's the best thing and too many people don't have space to walk crowded.

Karun C — Google review

Great collection of stores. Enjoy walking down a corridor of stores in good weather.Outdoor outlet mall.Nice deals in MK & Gucci during black Friday sales.

P B — Google review

A lot of outlets to shop from everything having some or the other kind of offer. Lot of good varieties to choose from. Only if we got empty parking space it would have been better.

Aman C — Google review

Nice shopping place plenty of good deals. You need to download the Simon application in advance to guarantee additional discounts. Plan to expend your whole afternoon and enjoy your shopping! This area is very crowded on weekends.

Túlio T — Google review

Good for shopping deals, whole family can have good times. Hard to find parking on weekends but plenty of shopping can do, requires atleast 6 hrs to go over entire stores. You can find lots of refreshments, fast foods. Dress appropriately based on weather as you need to walk in corridors from store to store. Restrooms are available, also see kids play area. I think many stores allow strollers, pets too.

Downtown Plano is a place that has maintained its historic character and is perfect for photo ops. There are cute and charming shops and restaurants that make for a great getaway with friends or dates. The downtown also has its own train which makes it easy to explore.

Cute little historic downtown. The boutiques and eateries were stuffed with great retail items and wonderful menu options. Spend a few hours enjoying history with the owners of Main street shops and restaurants. Purchased a handbag, earrings, summer shawl and a wonderful recipe book for newlyweds at Lyla’s and enjoyed coffee and pastries from the local bakery.

Downtown Plano is a great place to visit. It's a cozy and quaint small town with a variety of restaurants, shops, and entertainment spots. You can find something to do no matter what your interests are. It's a great place to hang out with friends or spend an evening. You won't spend all day here, but you will have fun and enjoy your time.

Graviel — Google review

One of my favorites areas that I’ve found in the Dallas area since moving here two years ago. Good restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and other shops, with more than one public parking lot so plenty of space to park within a max of a block or two to walk if street parking for a particular place full. My favorites are: 32 Degrees (rooftop bar above urban crust pizza), 1418 Coffeehouse & Better than Sex (dessert shop). There’s also a plaza area and frequent events there. The whole area is cute and feels well kept and safe to walk around. My favorite time to go is during holiday season when everything is decorated and lit up😊

Hannah ( — Google review

Beautiful place to walk around with fun events year round, with plenty of easily accessible parking. The square is also wheelchair accessible. We visited this weekend to see the Dickens Christmas event! Carolers, Christmas-themed ballet and hip hop performances, and theater performances. Everyone was friendly and the shop owners in the district are always happy to chat and give recommendations. Definitely stop by for a few hours if you’re in town!

We love hanging out in Downtown Plano! There are fantastic restaurants such as Ebesu (Sushi) and Jörg’s (Authentic Austrian Food and Beer), fun bars such as Vickery Park with art and games, Fillmore with a great patio, and McNeal’s with Irish food and beer, and cute shops. There are also a lot of community events that happen here. Parking is ample and there is a DART train station for easy transportation.

Jodi P — Google review

I had a blast at downtown Plano! They were having a Halloween festival, and my family love the time we had there. Definitely will be going back to try several restaurants down there.

This is an awesome place for dates or to hang out with friends. Easily accessible by train and lots of locally owned businesses to support. Or if you are looking for a free date, the park is beautiful. There are also events and community theater performances on occasion, so check the downtown plano website for the calendar.

Nature & Parks

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is a 66-acre garden set on White Rock Lake with frequent concerts, special exhibits & classes. It is world-class and perfect for a relaxing day out.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The plants, trees, and flowers are so beautiful and well kept. The statues are so pretty to look at and they make the garden seem more regal. My favorite things in the gardens had to be the waterfalls and water fountains. There’s also a great view of the lake and lots of great spots to picnic. I would definitely come back!

Aliyah D — Google review

It took my new fiance and mother to this beautiful place by recommendations from my sister. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the weather was pretty good for that day and there was plenty of things to look at and enjoy. We wish there were more water fountains available is the only thing and maybe some misting fans. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the shade though and photo shoot opportunities. I give this place a four and a half Stars!!

Robert B — Google review

We enjoyed a delightful summer evening of music by the Coppertones at the Twilight Tuesday event. The gardens are lush and green. The beautifully landscaped flower beds are bursting in color. I highly recommend a visit!

Michael D — Google review

The best thing that you can find in Dallas if you want to go with your loved one to experience peace and garden. You can spend 2 hrs to almost a whole day here depending on your leisure, and also, most of the things you can do is have a photo shoot and spend precious time observing different types of flowers. The only downside is the parking price is almost the same as the ticket price, which they should review. Otherwise, this is the place where you can get a good view of a white rock lake.

Dhrumil A — Google review

If you like flowers, you’ll love the Arboretum. In Springtime the tulips and hyacinths are so gorgeous and plentiful. There are many other flowers at this time but those really catch your eye. In the Fall they have the biggest display of pumpkins I have ever seen. The grandchildren love running around and taking in all the beauty and exploring the property. Great place to visit, no matter the seasonal.

Carolyn M — Google review

I went there to celebrate my birthday recently and had a wonderful time! I love nature walks, so I really enjoyed it. Parking wasn't bad. The food is reasonably priced. This must really be a hot spot for quinceanera, prom and graduation photos! I will bring my daughter there for photo shoot this summer. It is also a great place for a day date! I enjoy taking photos of nature as well, so I had a field day with my camera! Enjoy the photos below!

Ms H — Google review

Beautiful Gardens! Huge amounts of space for kids and photos. Bring extra water because it does get hot fast and the breeze seem almost non existent. We will be returning for the fall/winter days for sure! (Discounted August day rates $3 and parking for $6)

Kylee S — Google review

As someone visiting from out of town, this place was on my list to check out and did not disappoint! It was beautiful with a nice variety of themes and flowers. The pumpkin village was also really neat. I would recommend if anyone else is coming for Dallas and looking for something to do, to check it out. Going in the morning is better if the weather is hot as there is a fair amount of areas in the sun, but there are also a good amount of shady areas as well, which were nice. Overall, it took me around 1.5-2 hours to go through everything with the exception of the children's area.

My children and I visited the arboretum this afternoon to celebrate my son's birthday. The displays, fountains, gardens and views of White Rock lake are beautiful!!! Plenty of photo ops as well. It was extremely hot today, so I wore a hat to keep the sun off my face. I recommend you pack a snack/lunch and drinks, if you have little ones in order to save some money. It can get a bit pricey! I saw several families with their coolers and picnicking, there is plenty of space for that. I had a pecan chicken salad and a root beer float. The kids all had drinks. They really wanted smoothies, but they were all out. There are several locations to buy refreshments. They have several activities scheduled during the week and on the weekends. There is so much to see! I recommend you order your tickets online. We had a good time and plan to attend again during the holidays. ,👍👍

More cultivated than other arboretums I've visited. The plant labels are a little sparse in my personal opinion, but if you're not a plant fanatic it's a lovely place to stroll and get cute photos with the kids. Bear in mind there's going to be crowds if you go for an event like the pumpkin patch. Plenty of food options as well. LOTS of iconic spots for special event photos. That also means you'll need to plan your visit and come early if you want to get to the best spots without competing.

I’m visiting here for Christmas lights and it was very pretty. They decorated the whole arboretum as a shining place and each section has themes. 12 nights of Christmas is the main idea and they display with amazing musics! It’s quite hard to get the tickets. if you planned to see night lights, it’s better to reserve at least a week in advance.

Beautiful and relaxing gardens east of Dallas. The horticulturists just planted 500,000 bulbs which are blooming! The are miles of walking paths featuring many water fountains and seating areas. This garden is on White Rock Lake! It’s so peaceful and calming. This is a beautiful garden & arboretum. I recommend paying it a visit!

Lovely place to visit. Food is average from the place at the front of the gardens, didn’t eat at the other place. The woman at the ticket window was very kind and informative. The seat cushions were moist, as if they were still drying off from getting hit by sprinklers, but that was okay. Plenty of places to sit everywhere, and decent shade. Saw multiple bunnies and robins and squirrels. Also there were lots of bees but that’s to be expected. An absolutely beautiful place to picnic. The koi pond was my favorite part, as it was nice and shady. I definitely would recommend coming when it’s cooler.

Beautiful views, lovely walking paths, great time with friends and family. My husband and I are in town visiting and we took a trip to the Arboretum. We spent a few hours walking around and enjoying the scenery and each other's company. Pricing was decent and we had a great time. Everything was clean and they have beautiful views of the lake.

Beautifully kept gardens, water features, paved walkways with lots of room to roam. Even some of the most popular areas weren't crowded. A great way to spend an afternoon. I encourage you to bring drinks and maybe a picnic lunch and a blanket to take advantage of the beautiful area to just relax and enjoy.

So many picturesque spots, and it was way bigger than I thought it was going to be which I loved. We got a lot of steps in too! The chicken salad sandwich at lunch was delicious and make sure you check out the tasting pavilion by white rock lake area. They make delicious recipes for you to try each week. By the end of our visit, we left with a membership for two because your tickets get to go towards the membership. Can’t wait to come back very soon for the concerts and events!

Beautiful walk. Kid area was nice. A couple spots for water play in the kid area, my kiddo was upset I didn't bring extra clothes so she could get wet. So bring extra clothes and avoid the melt downs. The gardens were beautiful. Plenty of photo ops, places to rest, and water mist stations.

I visited during summer, the heat was palpable, but the shaded areas and water stations provided a welcomed respite, enabling us to comfortably explore. While some garden patches felt the strain of summer, the dedication of the gardeners was evident in their relentless efforts to keep the environment alive and flourishing. The staff were notably outstanding. Their friendly demeanor and readiness to assist significantly enhanced our visit. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time, and the picturesque grassy area by the lake left us yearning to return with a picnic basket in tow. I’m keen to witness the arboretum’s transformation across various seasons. For those considering a visit during the summer months, I’d advise procuring tickets and parking ahead of time. And don’t forget to wear a hat and hydrate!

Beautiful garden!! Flowers were still blooming in early October when we visited. The pumpkin patch was decorated nicely with snoopy characters throughout the garden. Saw a couple of the trending pumpkin houses as well! You can purchase different sized pumpkins on your way out. They also have seasonal drinks to try at the cafe. Great for groups and couples!!

I've visited here several times over the years. I love coming for the Autumn at the Arboretum event. The fall foliage is beautiful! I love the pumpkin displays as well. We visited the last weekend of the event, so there weren't as many pumpkins out. I suggest if you visit for this event specifically come earlier in the fall, like early to mid-October.

We went to the Holiday at the Arboretum celebration. It was amazing the work they put into the 12 days of Christmas scenes. As you walk around the park, you'll come across each one. They look like carousels, and they were moving presentations of each step. The holiday village was fun for kids. The historical house was beautiful with all the Christmas trees and the 600 Nutcrackers. I'd love to go back and see it at night!

What an absolutely beautiful place to visit. The weather was perfect and the variety of blooming flowers was perfect for this time of year. The cherry blossoms were stunning! I look forward to a visit in the spring when the trees regain their leaves!

Lathan C — Google review

One of the most beautiful botanical gardens I’ve seen in the world. Not as many flowers as other places, but it’s laid out nicely and isn’t crowded. The children’s section is like a children’s museum with lots of info and exhibits and is just as entertaining for adults.

This was an amazing experience. It is 100% kid and family friendly. The atmosphere is as relaxing as it gets. We went on a very busy weekend and there's so much space for people to move around, it didn't feel busy. There's a wonderfully educational kids center with a two story treehouse and a boardwalk in the tops of the trees that was so fun. The discovery center teaches about the different souls in our states, plants that grow, animals that live here, and even our atmosphere. You will learn so much without even trying. And the tulips were blooming all over the place. Just beds and beds of beautiful, eye catching color! Do not miss this place! The entrance fee is so much lower than nearby attractions and, I think, a much better deal. Look to spend at least a couple hours here.

Family centered, amazing, and wanting to come back over and over again. It is one of the most beautiful Christmas light displays in North Texas 😍. It is also gorgeous in spring and fall. You will be blessed with flowers and the scents. When you walk around the arboretum, you are surprised at how wonderful the whole garden is. Not only are you seeing, but you are also hearing and smelling the mother nature. There are a total of 12 themes. It is a family Christmas event, so bring your camera 📷. From small toddlers to loving grandparents, everyone is happy to be here. Make sure to wear warm clothes, because it gets cold at night. Avoid weekend nights because it gets extremely busy. It is also cheaper during weekday nights. Parking #4 is located on the opposite side of the arboretum. With the security personnel around everywhere, you and your family should feel safe. The only downside is the unbearable traffic on 635.

First time going and I absolutely loved it. I took my fiancee as part of her birthday weekend and we had an awesome time. The displays are absolutely beautiful and if you take your time you can spend a good 3 or 4 hours there. There were a ton of people but parking was painless and once we got in the gates there was plenty of room and didnt feel crowded. I will definitely come back in the fall.

Amazing! Beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed walking through all the well maintained gardens. Totally GEM. The rose garden needed some attention. I was somewhat surprised at the price for parking. $15.00. A bit on the high side.

3.9.24 I'm from CT, and this was my favorite thing to see and do in Dallas after visiting for a week. The entrance and parking lot is huge, but note, it does fill up. I went just as they opened so easy in and no lines. The grounds are immaculate, tidy, well maintained, and beautiful. If you're into photography, walking, enjoying nature, or the outdoors, you must stop here. Please note that you can buy tixs in advance. You can also bring in your own picnic, snacks, and waters, BUT there are places to buy food and drinks too on the premises. I went during Tulip season, hence my photos. You'll also find lots of benches, a koi pond, young children's area, wedding banquet area, fountains, "living" wall which has real plants growing... it's just all awesome.

I was surprised with the new cover parking lot opposite of arboretum, there is underground tunnel to get to entrance. The settings of the entrance were really awesome and every corner has beautiful colors of spring. I also noticed there tables and chairs for picnic. Was sitting at one of the picnic pavilion and listening to piano playing. Lots of things going, was a very pleasant visit.

We went at the holidays and it was magical! From the 12 Days of Christmas displays to the interactive holiday town. This is a great destination for the entire family! They have a cute wooden ornament for your tree to remember your visit. Highly recommend and I hope to go again!

Beautiful place to visit near the central part of Dallas. Although it’s not really an arboretum—it’s more of a well manicured garden—it’s a great escape from the city and right next to the peaceful White Rock Lake. They have seasonal themes/events, including the current “Dallas Blooms,” which is definitely worth seeing. If you live nearby, the annual membership pays for itself pretty quickly. They participate in the reciprocal admissions program, which means you can use your membership to get into hundreds of gardens across the US (including the one in Fort Worth—also worth a trip). Also, be sure to get the soft pretzels when you visit! 🥨

Fantastic place to spend the day with family, alone, friends or kids. Lots of blooming spring flowers. There is a special area for kids. There are counters showing different kind of rocks and fossils. There is 20 min show for kids, water fountains, wetland areas, vegetable garden, fruits garden and various other biomes to observe. There is a skywalk and a restaurant too within the area.Overall a good place to spend a whole day. A picnic area overlooking the white rock lake is beautiful! Coming back again for sure!

Our flight was canceled so we decided to visit here. We love this place. Impressed with picturesque view and flowers. The white rock lake unfortunately is outside the garden . We can see the view ! Great blooming flowers! Another garden I visited thy that has the similar qualities is Huntington Botanical Garden in Pasadena, California.

Zoos & Aquariums

The Dallas World Aquarium is a privately-owned aquatic wonderland home to countless varieties of marine life from all over the world.

A great place to visit for any family. The entire zoo/aquarium is indoors so no worries about the weather outside. Parking is plentiful and around $10 unless you get the highly coveted meter parking spots.I have 2 young boys and we went through the entire place in a little over 2 hours. There are a number of areas to sit and rest, including a cafe in the middle of the jungle exhibit! Lots of bathrooms and of course the gift shop at the end.If you can go earlier in the morning, you will avoid the large groups and crowds. Navigating in the zoo/aquarium is pretty simple. You just follow the path and it will lead you through all the exhibits. A great morning or afternoon stop during a vacation or a special day with the family.

So much fun!! We spent almost three hours walking around and really enjoyed every minute of it! It was pretty packed, but we were still able to see everything we wanted to and everyone was polite and tried to share the views with others.Coming from a smaller city with only a small zoo, this was amazing to see so many beautiful animals! The exhibits were clean, beautiful, the animals looked extremely well cared for and well fed!Wonderful experience!!

Greta for kids AND adults…loved seeing peopleOn dates as well as kids enjoying all the animals. We got a coffee at the cafe where the staff was so sweet! We loved that there are more than just aquatic animals (although the turtles, sharks, penguins, fish and manatee are SO cool!) but also the birds in the aviary, flamingos, monkeys and even an ocelot AND the rainforest…so awesome! Definitely worth the money and time spent!

LINES... LINES... and more LINES!!It was a nice aquarium but definitely not worth the price. Two adults (one military) and one kid (3 yrs) almost $82.00. Parking across the street was $10.35 for a 24hr spot. We came on a weekend and the line was long to get to the main entrance. We purchased out tickets online, thankfully. The staff tells you to start on the 3rd floor but maybe stay on the bottom and work your way up. The place is small... even though the name has the word "World" in it. There is a lot to see but when it's over crowded, you're standing in lines just trying to get through it all. There are not enough bathrooms to accommodate all the people who go during peak times,so be prepared to stand in another line. The gift shop is decent but with everyone in the room it gets crowded quickly and it's hot.Overall, would not go back.

We drove in from Georgia for a concert and decided to stop in to the aquarium. I was skeptical at first due to location. However, the overall architecture was incredible. The collection of birds, fish, and reptiles blew us away and made us feel like we were in the jungles of the amazon. Phenomenal experience!! Extremely well maintained exhibits.

Mikel H — Google review

I didn’t have high expectations for a downtown city aquarium. But I’m really pleased to say that my expectations were wrong. The aquarium was excellent, so many birds, reptiles, mammals and fish to see all really well presented. Definitely an attraction to add to your to do list while is Dallas

Adrian B — Google review

We loved this so much. I wish there were more animals out BUT most were there. It was a cool adventure and definitely worth visiting. I also appreciate that they have curriculum on their website. We homeschool and used it as a lesson. So that’s perfect.!

Kaela J — Google review

The facilities are beautiful and well laid out. The habitats are open and perfectly landscaped making the animals feel so much closer and uncaged. The pelicans were so close I could actually touch and rub one. I didn't. I'm not crazy. And they offer adult beverages. Hello! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The reason for the 4 stars is because the facilities are a bit small and the shark tank was small and disappointing. And I had saved that for last. I would revisit.

NICHOLE J — Google review

A lot packed in a small looking building. Has multiple levels to walk through and see different animals. Is more zoo vs aquarium though but kinda combine the two together which is cool. Was very busy when we got here on a Saturday afternoon, the line to get in wrapped around the building but was steadily moving. Due to its business trying to walk through and see some animals were hard. So be mindful and try to go at none busy time.

It was cool. Got there super early with my daughter. Felt like we bought out the place. The animals are friendly and can tell are be token care of. The sharks had a sense of humor. They will try to sneak up on you as a joke. We enjoyed. Get there early! If not will be in a long line.

Loved exploring the aquarium! It was pretty, clean and wonderful to see the wildlife. 🐟 However, we were disappointed that there wasn’t any vegan choices on the menu, not very inclusive. 😢It would be great to see some food choices here that are vegan and gluten free. They have some sort of vegetarian options but without any sort of protein. Especially after seeing so many animals and fish.Fish are friends, not food! 🐟

Violet R — Google review

The aquarium wasn't technically all an aquarium. There were tiers to the experience. Floor 1 was birds, and we had the pleasure of a toucan type of bird flying with us and through our party. Floor 2 was more amphibious/land animals and some water dwellers. Floor 3 was the huge aquarium, small aquariums (some were deep sea creatures where you couldn't use flash), then the one feature our kids absolutely loved was the Shark tunnel. You walk through the middle of the shark enclosure and can kind of see the sharks swimming casually out, and then all of a sudden, they're next to you! There were 2 saw sharks that were ginormous and very cool to see. It was a fantastic time and worth the trip! The Penguins were a huge deal to but off to the side, and not many people visited them.

Erick S — Google review

This is an animal lovers wonderland! Their enclosures are big and beautiful and they have a plethora of different species to see. From the moment you enter you are greeted by big, beautiful birds and stunning foliage. From there, the walk through the aquarium is seamless and intuitive. You really get to see everything up close and if you come in the mornings when they open, you can even stroll leisurely and take your time. Warning: if you attend anytime after 11am on a weekend you will be close quarters with other visitors and will have to share views and shuffle through with the crowd. Either way, this is a wonderful place to spend a few hours in Dallas!

Natalie P — Google review

Such a great experience! We took our kids and had a blast. They love learning about different animals and seeing the ones we've studied in real life. This place has so many to see! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, willing to answer questions and make your trip more enjoyable. The paths are stroller friendly and there are even nursing rooms if you need to find a comfortable place to feed your baby! Don't hesitate to come here with the whole family 😁

Susana U — Google review

This place was amazing. We had such a great time. They had a drink station halfway through where we got frozen margaritas! I loved seeing all the different animals. It was so diverse with both fish and mammals. So great you should definitely bring the family. Set aside about two hours minimum.

I live in Wimberley, Texas and I drove to Dallas to visit with my daughter on her birthday. We decided to visit The Dallas World Aquarium. It was on a Tuesday afternoon. The parking was easy as there is a parking lot right next to the aquarium. There was no wait. We walked right in. We didn't get out ticket on line but it is possible to do so. The place is really beautiful and well maintained. There's even a bar with beer, coffee and pizza. I had coffee and it was surprising pretty good. My daughter had beer and pizza, which was pretty good as well. There were a lot of people there but it wasn't crazy busy and it was Spring break. There are three floor and plenty to see. I took lots of pictures and chatted with my daughter. I would probably go back again

Jimmy A — Google review

Absolutely beautiful. It's like half zoo, half aquarium which was neat but it was super busy. The whole place is made up of these really narrow one way paths and while this design might work in theory to get people to go in a set path, in practice the result was every time someone stopped to look at something the whole line ground to a halt which resulted in a lot of waiting. If you aren't on a time crunch, it's very casual and beautifully designed but be prepared to do a lot of waiting in lines if it's busy and don't think you can easily go back and look at something.

Ali B — Google review

They have a lot more than just aquatic animals, very cool. A bit pricy and was a little confusing to navigate all the levels and see everything.Got in without a mask, just told them we were medically exempt and they seemed to honer it.Definitely fun and pretty impressive to see all the different animals they have in the building

Jaxon S — Google review

Usually packed but that’s pretty much expected because it’s the aquarium and everyone likes to bring their family, friends, & loved ones here. Honestly a really fun place. My favorite part was the penguins, and cheetah because they’re so cute! Nothing really exceptionally unique about this place but definitely a great place to go to if you like animals! Some places have AC but I would definitely recommend bringing yourself a little fan or using a pamphlet to fan yourself if you get hot!

Anna G — Google review

Family fun. Some animal exhibits were not open, which is disappointing for the price you pay. Have improved on flow of traffic in order to see exhibits. Pre-paid parking is recommended-by very confined parking area. Should improve and limit the amount of people allowed into facility all at once-becomes very chaotic with big groups and baby strollers in narrow/small spaces.

Kathy C — Google review

Absolutely amazing! It was my dad’s first time being in an aquarium, and it definitely blew his socks off! We both loved it and saw some very cute creatures! In the gift shop, a older lady who worked there was telling us about the big manatee and how she was a rescue. She was very knowledgeable! The staff at the gift shops were kind. Definitely will come back! The parking situation was kinda weird, we bought a pass while getting tickets. We aren’t from the area, so finding the place to park was a bit of a hassle. Signs would be nice!I also love they partner with many different animal rescue groups to help bring endangered species back! I’d definitely support in any way I can! Loved it here!I’d definitely buy tickets online wayyy in advance. Makes everything less of a headache!

Enjoyed our visit with my girlfriend for her birthday. Large venue and worth the trip. However, it is very difficult to navigate all areas inside and all the different levels. You could easily miss an area if you didn't take the time to make sure you found everything on the map/brochure. Need to come up with some way better to follow a designed pathway from start to finish.

Corey P — Google review

Great place for kids with lots of interesting creatures. I don't recommend going on a weekend because they let more people in than they should and it is difficult to move around. They label some of the enclosures with what is inside but not all. I would prefer more labeling with educational information. Most of the time you have to identify what you are seeing from the 4-5 page booklet they give you and then have to google the species if you want facts about them.

Nate F — Google review

We went on a school field trip. Parking can be relatively close but can cost about 10 dollars. The aquarium is nice and has a very outdoor feel inside. Lots of different animals not just aquatics. Buy tickets online would be my recomendation.

Grayson B — Google review

Nice aquarium overall. A lot smaller than many regional aquariums I've visited. Surprisingly, it was about 50% an Aviary/ Terrarium (lot's of birds, monkeys, snakes, frogs, and other land-based animals). Nice variety.Be sure to pick a less busy day to visit. We went near a holiday (also a Tuesday when most other museums are closed), and many sections had us waiting 15 minutes to walk a total of 30 feet with the crowd shoulder to shoulder). It doesn't seem that they limit how many people can enter. It would have been 10x as enjoyable if there were half as many people.

Phillip B — Google review

There is so much to see here! They had some QR codes to scan to learn more about the animals, but I would’ve appreciated some printed signs. It was a very busy day, but we still enjoyed our visit. I did feel that the enclosures were quite small for some of the animals.

Valerie R — Google review

Wonderful! It was part zoo, aquarium, and bird sanctuary. I have been to many aquariums, but this was unique in the way that it displayed the eco system at 4 different levels. Level 4 was at the top of the trees with birds and monkeys, mid level 2 and 3 with birds, frogs, snakes and an anteater, the bottom level with fish, manatee, octopus, and fish. It took us 2 hours to view and read everything. It was worth the visit.

Helena R — Google review

Loved this place!! We were visiting the area and it was recommended we check this place out. We are so glad that we did! Aquarium isn't the right word. It was so much more! Monkeys, flamingo, manatee, birds and so much more! It was like walking into a jungle. 10/10 recommend. Also so much cheaper than the Aquarium we have at home!

Leigh S — Google review

Tight spaces, confusing layouts, poor signage, and too many people made this place a pain to navigate. With so many stairs everywhere, I can’t imagine bringing someone with a wheelchair. Some pathways were barely large enough for two people, so if one person stopped to look at something, it clogged up the entire passage. The map given at the start was very confusing to use and didn’t give an accurate sense of how big or far apart places were. The few directional signs were poorly designed; I saw a sign with an arrow pointing right for penguins and turned right, not realizing it actually meant DOWN a set of stairs I couldn’t even see. I had difficulty finding our way back to anywhere or even leaving. Several turns even lead to dead ends with nothing. Trying to find how to go up/down a level was also troublesome. It didn’t feel educational as there was no information about the displays unless you scanned a QR code, assuming the QR code was on the screen and it wasn’t rotating through other non-informative images and videos. The upsides were, as other reviewers mention, the place is beautiful and packed with displays. Seemed to have something in every nook and cranny- you just won’t know what it is since there’s no signage. I imagine it would be more enjoyable exploring when you’re not jostling against elbows. A lot of it felt like it was outdoors despite being under a roof. There were some very nice views of the fish and animals and a cool underwater tunnel.

F R — Google review

The top is a zoo, the bottom is an aquarium. On a Tuesday in April it was pretty packed with kids, there was very little space to move around. Very neat exhibits though. The pathways are pretty narrow, and with so many kids, I would not recommend trying to bring a wheelchair here.

John T — Google review

Great little aquarium that makes good use of space. Aquarium and bird exhibits are on multiple levels that are easily reached. There are elevators that will take you to the top and you can wind your way down a gentle decline.

Matthew B — Google review

They have lots of birds, animals, frogs. The lower level is where you will see some fish. We went on a Sunday mid-day, it was pretty crowded. Many of the exhibits are not labeled. That being said if you aren't particular about what animals you are seeing there is quite a lot of habitats/animals to view. We spent about 2.5 hours there. Plan to eat before or after, because the eating areas while we were there were packed.

Allison — Google review

Great place for a week-day outing. We went on a Saturday! The weekend crowd was chaotic and packed (to be expected); but the humidity inside was so high!!!! My son seemed comfortable, but for a Mama pushing a stroller - it was a SWEATY task! Overall, exciting environment and my son enjoyed!!!

Science museum

Large-scale state-of-the-art interactive & multimedia exhibits & educational programs for all ages.

This is a really lovely museum. My husband and I zoomed through in about two hours. If you have children with you (which would truly be perfect) you’ll want to plan on longer. You’re taken up to start the adventure on the fourth floor via escalator. There are elevators available if needed. It’s very easy to follow the flow of the layout so you don’t miss anything. Tons of hands-on activities along the way.

Really cool and easy to navigate through. Lots of different levels and very interactive. We visited during the 21+ Thursday time so not much of a crowd but I can see it getting crowded easily. I will definitely be back with the family! Parking was easy and across the street, gps was accurate.

Fantastic museum! So much to see and do for kids and adults alike. We went on Labor Day weekend so it was much busier than it would normally be. Despite that, this museum is very spacious, and easy to get around unless even if you have a stroller like we did. There is a tendency to form a long line at the elevators, but we just carried the stroller down the stairs, it helps build muscle. Also, the map is easy to read (which can't be said for the Dallas Aquarium but that's in another review), and you can find everything with relative ease. If you are a veteran you get in free so that's awesome as well, and you get a discount for everyone in your party. Overall we had a great experience, and successfully wore out the kids.

Awesome museum! Easy access, plenty of parking around it, and cost less then 10$. The museum is gigantic, 5 floors; each with a different theme. Could easily spend the whole day there. Great place to bring kids as there is a varieties of activities to make science fun. Would definitely come back with friends/family. Entrance is only 25$, totally worth it. Recommended.

What a wonderful experience at the Perot Museum! We really enjoyed our visit. The museum is very family and kid-friendly and a great place to bring the kiddos. They have many exhibits and activities that taylor to the kids with hands-on activities. We stopped by on an early Sunday afternoon, and the museum was not terribly crowded, which gave us time to explore and really enjoy the exhibits. The dinosaur exhibit and the Minerals Room were my favorite. It's not as large as some of the nature and science museums I have visited, but it is definitely worth a visit. It's a nice way to spend some time learning about nature, science, and history. They offer plenty of parking, a food court so you can get drinks and items to eat, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and I recommend watching one of the short movies they offer. It is a stop I highly recommend!

Sarah J — Google review

Make sure and get your timed tickets before going! We were late getting them and ended up with a 12:30 time slot. But it was amazing. Floor after floor of amazing interactive exhibits that you can easily take all day to see. It took us four hours and I felt like we were moving pretty quickly. My four kids (ages 3-10 years old) loved the dinosaurs and robotic areas the best, but really it was all fantastic! We will be back to explore even more.

SO MUCH FUN!!!! I thought it might be a little bit too much for my 2-year-old, but I was WRONG! It was great! The only problem was we didn't have enough time to see everything! I remember loving it when I was a kid, but I think it's only gotten better with time! There's a children's area downstairs that was so much fun, and then lots of interactive exhibits that were perfect for ALL ages. There was something for everyone, and we can't wait to go back to see more!

Here is the deal! I was in this place for 5 hours. It felt like an hour. It's so much to do very educational for the entire family. I really enjoyed the hands-on educational tools they offer. I have an absolute educational blast, and I would encourage everyone to go.

We spent a decent amount of time here exploring but it was difficult to navigate with all of the school groups that were there. It was very crowded and felt like we couldn’t truly experience and take all the exhibits in. However, I was super impressed with the minerals room. So many unique and breathtaking pieces that I haven’t seen at other museums. There was a lot of hands on stuff for my child to do and learn as well.

This museum was a really fun experience. My husband and I went there as a date because we both love science and nature. There was plenty of parking (though it is paid parking) which was right next the museum which almost never happens so this was nice. You can tell the museum tries to enthrall adults as well as children because it has teachings/facts that vary between quite simple to fairly complex. My husband and I's favorite section HAS to be the jewels. The many MANY precious, colorful, and (sometimes) GIGANTIC, jewels they had were absolutely breathtaking. I can provide photos but they did not do justice in the slightest. I would say definitely give your more than 2 hours there. We only had 2 hours and we had to zip through the cosmos section and a good bit of the fossils/birds section. This museum can keep one entertained for many hours. There was a food court, but we never went since we ate and didn't have the time. For my hubby and I, as 2 adults, it was $25 each which I say is a good price. I am just giving this place 4 stars because of its obvious, should I say, agenda? (I wish I could've given more like 4.5 though). It has a section showing "where man came from" of course with ape-like people. I guess that is how science is today, so I am not surprised and the section was small so it wasn't too preachy.

This is a fun museum! We visited on a Friday afternoon, and this is definitely a popular place for school groups. The kids seemed to be heading out around 2:00, so if you are looking for a calmer experience the later afternoon may be best! The second, third, and fourth floors are full of interesting exhibits. The various levels have wonderful views of the Dallas city, and the museum is highly interactive. Parking is $10, and easily accessible. The cafe has some reasonably priced options if you are looking for a quick bite!

I wonder how many people drive by this Gem everyday and never go in. So this activity was part of the Dallas city pass. We had various option and thought we would just pop after all how much really is there to see. Well there is a lot. Don’t do what we did and just try and see it within a couple of hours that won’t work.Let’s start from the entrance. If you use their parking it’s 10 dollars so use it because everything else in this area is more. This place is built for you to stay all day. They have food and a ton of bathrooms so no need to leave until you’re done. They have 5 different movies about different aspects of the museum so check them out. We only did one and I was sad because we underestimated this place. Mr. Perot may have seemed boring on tv when I was younger but I have a whole new appreciation for what he’s had built here. From the fossils to the exhibits about energy and the stars it’s incredible. I’m not going to try and describe everything because I didn’t see everything so I can’t. I will let the picture speak for themselves. If your in the area and you have the city pass spend the day with your kids listening to them saying wow and how cool is that.

Victor V — Google review

Great play area for kids on the lower level, each floor has its big hit, though floor 4 has a ton of fun activities! Took our little one and had a blast.Only reason for 4 stars is because their additional Lego exhibit was an extra $8 and I find that to be a bit pricey for what you get.Only reason it’d be worth it is if you have a little builder to sit and build in a somewhat dimly lot ballroom.Wish they would make these included in the price.Other note is that they’re pretty strict about mask wearing - apparently “science” is a marketing ploy ;).

Chase A — Google review

Clean and modern museum. Stroller allowed. The children museum is included in it, which is good for younger kiddos. I’ll recommend to come early or weekday. It gets VERY crowded.$10 Museum covered parking is great. ($5 for members). OR you can come early and find street meter parking.

Shirley L — Google review

This massive hands on museum is a perfect way to beat the heat! The indoor areas are filled with amazing and interactive exhibits. Our family loved exploring the facility. Just big enough to spend a full day here but each floor is well monitored enough to let the kids wander a bit. All of the staff members were kind, knowledgeable and welcoming into each room/activity/program. We had lunch here and we were so thankful for some really nice food options! We tried the pizza, burger, pretzels, and chicken. Covered parking ($5/$10 for non members) keeps the car cool when it's time to head home. If you have the chance to visit you should!

Tiffany B — Google review

Wonderful exhibits, plenty of variety and tons of interactives for kids and adults alike.Information on displays is somewhat outdated and occasionally slightly inaccurate, probably to facilitate better presentation. Also a little small, but it is limited by its location.Overall a nice museum. Fantastic for inquisitive kids.

The nature and science museum was incredible. So many cool exhibits, plenty of hands-on activities for kids. We spent about 3 hours but could have easily spent more time. Everything was so cool!

Lots of great exhibits. Different interactive exhibits. I wouldn't suggest going on a weekend like I did today. Very crowded and hard to maneuver at times. I still enjoyed the different displays and info about each thing.

Wow, what a fun and interesting place! We took kids ages 5, 7, and 13 and they all found things they loved. There's a small play area downstairs for the toddlers, there's a robotics room, the gemstones were my personal favorite, but we also saw a Mars Rover replica with videos detailing its mission, and a dinosaur exhibit (was extra$) that was there for a short time. Don't miss out on the 3D short movies! We saw one about Blue Whales and I kid you not, it was the best 3D graphics I have EVER seen. They range from 20-40 minutes. Overall I was impressed and would recommend coming here!

Shelly W — Google review

An excellent place to delve into history, explore dinosaur artifacts, and engage with science experiments. You could easily spend more than 2 hours here. For optimal enjoyment of all the experiments, consider visiting on a less crowded weekday.

Riyaz A — Google review

I went with a few friends on a Sunday and had a great time! There are so many floors of exhibits and interactive discovery games for all ages. There was so much stuff to see and do that we didn't even get to see it all. Well definitely be back sometime later in the year to see the rest.

Taran — Google review

Well curated, up-to-date natural history museum. What a treat! Dinosaurs are updated to the most current understanding. Other science topics covered on lower floors, including gemstones (a family favorite). Architecturally impressive precast concrete. Decent food options of you make a full day of it, too.

There are so many amazing, beautiful, and interesting things there to see. It's such a great and fun way to learn new things. I and my hubby had so much fun lol. I can already imagine how much the kiddos will enjoy it. There are also fun activities the employees provide, today we made finger bird puppets! I highly recommend it, especially for families.

History museum

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is a repository of information about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, which took place in its very building. The museum contains artifacts and exhibits that explore the life and death of JFK, as well as the various conspiracy theories surrounding his demise.

Historic museum! It tells a great story about the assassination of JFK! It really provides thorough explanations and narratives and sets up the actual location of the gunman. The surrounds are also nice to explore. I’d recommend arriving thirty mins before your appointed museum ticket time to check out the X spots and take photos. I recommend the earliest time for museum as it is nice and quiet! There are lots of tourists!Parking is $12 for all day basically. Tickets are only purchased online so be sure to buy it online beforehand!

It’s a sad place I have to say, you’ll find a lot of information of the sad event by either watching some short movies/documentaries or by walking the museum and reading the information and seeing the picture. There are two floors, the upper floor mainly has the view of the Elm street and the surrounding and different places where you can watch movies about the incident. It’s mostly like a big hall compared to the main floor where you can observe some exponats. At the time of my visit, there were many people, we had to wait in line a little , however, it went by pretty quick. The ticket to enter was $18 for adult.

Comprehensive view of the events leading up and following the JFK assignation. The museum was very engaging and really did a good job of portraying the feelings of a city and country that had lost its President. Would strongly recommend a visit.

I visited the Sixth Floor Museum on a recent visit to Dallas and was very impressed. There’s a paid parking lot next door which was super convenient. The museum isn’t huge and there were a lot of people navigating it. Although busy, we were still able to see everything that we wanted to. The museum was laid out really well. It allows you to really visualize what took place and where. If you ever have a chance to visit, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a great learning opportunity as well.

Alicia M — Google review

This museum is well planned. The displays are professional looking. They focus mainly on the assassination. However, there are all of two panels on the conspiracy theories, which I think deserve more attention. There are literally thousands of documents citing evidence on this topic. That was an unfortunate choice. Staff were very friendly, and the gift shop has a nice assortment of products. Great experience! It's my third time to visit.

Mark C — Google review

It was too crowded on. Weekday at 1pm. Hardly had space to stand and read the exhibits. I guess it was because of the SC2022 crowed. The good - informative, good insights, exhibits and information, also it was an actual side gave another perspective. The bad - writings were too long to stand and read, some people can't stand for hours just to read the material. It was a good idea to show some of the videos, those were good but the text was bit too much. Could be replaced with audio guides.Parking - paid (I guess it was $10)Ticket price - $18 for adults and we had a 5 years kid with us, they charged $14 (youth). I reminded them that he is 5 years and she re adjusted the price.

Great museum. Highly recommend if you want to learn about the assassination of JFK. Information is well presented and very educational. I really enjoyed watching all the video presentations too. It took me just over 2.5 hours to go through everything and I love that with timed entry they don’t overcrowd the museum.

Story telling Museum of JFK assassination. Lots of reading is required to have fun, though. It was an inspiring place for me since I love histories

If you are a fan of history, you will like this museum. It is a great museum, but it’s also about of history. It’s kind of strange being in the building, knowing what took place in the location l, but that’s what makes it great. Looking out the windows of the sixth floor makes you feel like you are looking into the past. No matter what you think about what happened that day, it is a nice museum that is etched in America history.

The C — Google review

Upon confirming my trip to Dallas I was most excited about visiting this museum and it definitely did not disappoint. Obviously the historical significance alone would be worth the visit but the educational aspect of the museum is spot on and really helps paint the full picture of the events that led up to the assassination, what transpired after, and who may have had a motive to kill JFK. I would plan on spending at least 90 minutes here to truly experience everything this awesome museum has to offer.

Andrew B — Google review

The Sixth Floor Museum located in Downtown Dallas is a very interesting museum that provides a lot of information of John F. Kennedy ranging from when he was born to the conspiracy theories after he died. There are a few places around that will show video of the assassination and the aftermath. I think it's very informative and a fun time for anyone who is interested in Dallas history or the Kennedy family. I do wish that the line for tickets and to be let in after buying tickets could be faster but I understand that they probably don't want it to be too crowded as certain areas were crowded.

Sears C — Google review

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday the other day. We’ve talked about going for years now. We’re both from Dallas yet have never been. I’m so glad we finally went! It’s a self guided/paced tour which is absolutely perfect. It can take quite some time to read through everything and watch all the videos, but definitely worth it if you want the full effect. There was just so much to see and learn. Even if you think you know everything about Kennedys death, once you go here, you realize you really don’t. It’s amazing. It’s a part of history, and it’s amazing to be in an area where history, insanely sad history, took place. It definitely makes you feel lots of emotions. So glad they’ve made the building into a museum and I hope all who get the chance can tour it! It’s well worth it.

We were able to take a few hours away from conference to visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza to learn about the historical tragic day of JFK's assassination. Excellent Museum. Highly recommend to purchase your tickets on line to guarantee your admission.

Michael H — Google review

Great museum, lots of historical information on the tragic day of JFK's death. It was very busy on the weekend. The building has great views of Downtown Dallas and surrounding areas. I would recommend you visit if you like history.

Stanley M — Google review

I really wasn't expecting this museum to be as crowded as it was. I could imagine the crowds during peak tourist season. They do a ticket by the hour type of system. We did not buy ahead but at 2:15 (on a Thursday) we were still able to slide into the 2pm entrance time. The queue looks long but they allow about 15 people into the elevator every 10 minutes or so the displays can be quite busy with people reading. You don't have to stay in line so if there is a bottleneck you can skip around. I honestly don't think I learned anything new since I've read several books about Kennedy. But it was good to see so many young people there probably learning the details for the first time. Also maybe foreigners. Worth the visit. It was expensive at $25 each. If you struggle to stand it walk for a while there are some benches in the display area but not many. Across the street is the Grassy Knoll you can go to.

Cindy R — Google review

Amazing place and very informative. The entry fee is reasonable too at $25 for an adult. The museum takes you through the build up to the event from JFK's election right through to the investigations afterwards in lots of detail, including the many conspiracy theories. It takes around 2hrs to do the self guided tour so it's a reasonable amount of time and it was quite busy on a Saturday morning. The shop is quite pricey too so be warned - and not everything has a price on it!

Dave ( — Google review

Amazing tour! Very detailed information that takes you from JFKs early life, through his presidency, and then the assassination. The tour was very organized as they take limited groups up to the 6th floor, and then you can wander through at your own pace.

Dave C — Google review

This museum does a wonderful job of celebrating the life of JFK and his impact on America, while providing an honest account of the tragic events surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy. They also do not shy away from decades of conspiracy theories and encourage visitors to draw their own conclusions. There's plenty of genuine artifacts, detailed photos and drawings, and personal accounts from people who directly interacted with the President. The building has been meticulously maintained and is very clean. There is a gift shop for souvenirs. If you enjoy learning more about the history of our country, this is a highly recommended stop! Pro-tip: There's plenty of parking at $10 a car, and tickets can be purchased beforehand to speed the entry process.

Colin B — Google review

What an amazing museum. Everything was done well, from the early part of Kennedy's presidency, to the lead-up to his assassination, to the hectic day itself, and the investigation and conspiracies after. The museum doesn't seem to take sides on what it thinks happened, but reports the facts as-is.Taking a walk outside afterwards brings it all home, and the Sixth Floor website has a helpful (if sparse) online guide for when you walk around the assassination spot. The only negative was that it was fairly pricey for a museum of its size, but I would have no problem paying it again.

David E — Google review

This is a must see in Dallas. Right across from the Grassy Knoll. The exhibits were interesting and lots of historical context was provided for the JFK assassination. It is a lot of reading but they do a good job mixing it up with videos, models and displays. I think it could get crowded on weekends and holidays so I’d be sure to buy tickets in advance.

Tyson D — Google review

We really enjoyed the museum! It did a great job of covering JFK’s visit to Texas as part of his reelection campaign, the day in Dallas, and the assassination. There was plenty of focus on Oswald but they also provided information on other theories related to the killing. This was a great way to connect to an important part of American history.I gave 4 stars because of the staff. To a person, they were unfriendly and gave the impression that they were bothered by the visitors. Thankfully, the museum can be enjoyed with minimal contact with them.

Jeffrey H — Google review

What an experience I just got here..It is a lifetime experience, trust me you should visit the same and experience the history. Please reserve your ticket inside for smooth walkin. You will go through the entire journey of Mr.Kennedy from his childhood for being Mr. PRESIDENT.They have movie room too where you can watch all his video and conspiracy theories about the assassination.

PRRATEEK C — Google review

We opted not to do the tour due to time constraints, but we still wanted to check out the gift shop. Unfortunately, they make you pay to take the tour to get to the gift shop, so we passed on that as well. Very interesting business model. Instead, we explored Dealey plaza and took some photos before leaving.

The revamped observation deck at Reunion Tower offers guests a 360-degree view of the city from its top floor. The stylish space also includes interactive activities to acquaint visitors with Dallas, as well as cameras that let you zoom in on downtown streets.

Great tourist spot to see the city from the top! Admission is $18 per person. They do a photo-op and you can get your photos emailed to you for free at a kiosk in the tower! They have an inside viewing room that has interactive screens. The outside view is cool but very very windy! The elevator ride up is quick and fun to see the city as well! Would definitely recommend visiting! There’s also a small gift shop downstairs that’s reasonably priced!

This 560 ft observation tower of Dallas, a major landmark is definitely better than similar structures of other cities in terms of 360 degree panoramic views and interactive digital experience. I loved this one of the most important and iconic structures of Dallas skyline.I anticipated the nice experience as soon as we rode through the glass elevator which takes 68 seconds to reach observation deck. I love the breathtaking views of interstate and flyovers with moving cars rolling on.Unfortunately, we couldn’t experience the rotating floor and the restaurant due to renovations. I think, considering this they should give some kind of concession. We saw only the Geo-Deck floor, which is the main attraction anyway.Hyatt Regency Dallas is connected to the Reunion Tower. You can pose with the fun props in front of Dallas skyline. This is walking distance from where the President John F Kennedy was assassinated. The Reunion Tower is the “Reunion” between the old and new of Dallas downtown. I guess, it would be more beautiful at the sunset time with hazy pink sky as the Sun goes down.

We went up to Crown Block Wednesday to have a drink, enjoy the night lights, and watch the final game of World Series. Drinks were great, and we loved their crab cake and double chocolate cake for dessert. Was a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion and to have great views.

Great experience. Definitely recommend going around sun set. The view looking downtown with the lights is beautiful. Most of the staff is friendly with great personalities. There was however one young lady working at the top of the tower who was extremely rude to guests that were from out of the country and the only reason Im giving 4 stars. Overall my family had a good time and was able to take some beautiful pictures.

I recently visited Reunion Tower and had an incredible experience. My advice to anyone planning a visit is to purchase tickets and make reservations in advance to avoid any hassle. Finding parking was easy, and once inside the lobby, simply take a right to head downstairs where you’ll check in.On busy days, there might be a wait, but it’s worth it. The photo session with the Reunion Tower background wallpaper is a nice touch and it’s complimentary. Plus, if you want to take home some professional photos, they offer packages ranging from $8 to $60.The elevator ride to the top is thrilling, and the views from the observation deck are absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas. And if you’re planning a special moment like a proposal, they have setups available for reservation.Overall, Reunion Tower provides an unforgettable experience with stunning views and excellent service.

Went here for the perfect date night on a Saturday evening. Tickets were around $25/person.Reunion Tower is connected to the Hyatt hotel, located near downtown. The tower offers a view of the beautiful Dallas skyline at 470 feet in the air (the best angles I’ve seen for all sides of Dallas). It’s best to go near the time of the sunset as the city begins to literally light up.They do offer engagement and date packages (which I imagine would make a date even more special).***I would definitely go back, but my only concern was about safety precautions when allowing people in the tower. Bags and people were not really checked.

Very cool tower to visit in Dallas especially if you’re into stunning sunset and view! We also had free photos taken and got them sent for free on the top of the tower. Such a highly recommended place to take your date to! It’s a little packed but still worth it.

I visited the tower during the day and I was able to get a great panoramic view of the city. They even have some information of what some of the buildings in the distance are. It costs about $20 per person and the elevator ride to the top takes about 1 minutes. I believe there are 24 floors . The tower has a restaurant / cafe on top which was not open at the time of my visit. You can also exit a side door and get outside to go around the tower. It is a great experience if you are visiting Dallas.

It was a perfect choice for something to do at night (I don't know if I would have enjoyed it as much during the day) Very educational and the views were spectacular!Put this one on your list to do when in #DALLAS 🫠

You will not regret purchasing tickets to view the city of Dallas from a 360 degree angle. Parking is a short trip down the street, $10 dollars. This trip is worth every penny. It does tend to get a bit crowded in the elevator and on the observation deck itself. You will get a picture taken (props optional) with customized frame options before the ascend up the tower. 10/10 recommend to anyone.

Carlos G — Google review

Parking is a little crazy but seeing Dallas from the top was cool. I wish we would have been able to see it at night as well, but we ran out of time! I recommend getting the pass where you can go during the day and then Cole back at night. On their website I also saw bundle deals with the zoo which I think is a good idea!

Kara R — Google review

We visited the observation deck after eating at Crown Block so that we could walk around and get full views of the city and not be rushed. Years ago you could visit the observation deck for free and simply take the elevator up to the observation deck but now it’s two separate long elevator rides lol. We spent about $40 for two to go up. We were trying to go up quickly as we heard them discussing a party of 82 coming behind us! However, we had to stand in line for the obligatory souvenir photo, that we politely declined but the people in front of us did not, before we were allowed to go up. The observation deck is open and was very windy the evening we were. There’s an inside viewing area with limited seating and a gift shop. We enjoyed the views of the city even with limited visibility from the weather. It was crowded and we had a wait to go back down with an overcrowded elevator. However the crowds were. it that surprising. Overall, we had a good time.

Brooke N — Google review

Beautiful place to go to. The views were incredible. I got there during daylight, close to when the sun was setting and all the lights came on. Absolutely stunning at night time. It's a must see if you visit (or live in) Dallas.

Desi — Google review

A great place to admire the skyline of Dallas and the flat lands surrounding it!The open deck located 143 meters (470 feet) above ground offers 360 degree view, but honestly only a small portion of the view is interesting and that is the one towards downtown. The rest (excluding two bridges) is a bit boring as there is nothing else to see other than the flat lands.Dallas has a decent skyline and the view from the deck captures everything there is to see. I did enjoy the view after sunset much more than during the day (mainly because most of the skyscrapers were not aesthetically pleasing to me apart from Fountain Fountain Place).I imagined a place like this would be busy with tourists, but it was not. Very few people visited during Thursday afternoon with the exception of sunset hours. It was busy but not crowded, manageable. There are free stationary binoculars to use.The viewing platform has also an indoor seating with informative boards and interactive screens, a small gift shop and a restroom. Unfortunately the restaurant is not accessible without prior booking, so we could not even enjoy watching the sunset with a drink.I enjoyed the elevator ride as it passed through a glass shaft offering a view to the intersection nearby. The price of 20 USD is very affordable for what this experience is.There are plenty of shopping and eating options down at the tower lobby as it's part of the Hyatt Hotel complex. Reunion tower has its own dedicated parking lot with more than necessary spaces, so you won't have a problem parking.

Pavel D — Google review

Elevator ride makes your ears pop. But the Geo-deck is beautiful!! Especially at night with the Dallas skyline all lit up. The views are just great! My only complaint is the wait for the Elevator back down, they have no clear indication where the line starts or ends so alot of people were skipping. And they were doing some type of work outside and it smelled like sewer so that was less than attractive.

Kaci F — Google review

A must see! Best you come during sunset and when sun is completely gone. The whole experience 360 was breathtaking. The city illustrated at night with stunning colors of lights. You can lounge for hours and bring a date or go solo like me. Highly recommend it.

As far as any observation towers, buildings or decks go, this was one of the better experiences I've had. Ever.Monday night at the end of September is perhaps the best time you can choose to come here, as there was literally no line going up or down the elevator, no crowds blocking your view on top, and perfect, clear weather to enjoy the lit-up town below you.And unlike in New York, Chicago and basically everywhere else, you get free digital copies of photos they take of you downstairs. Next time, I'm going to try the restaurant on the top floor.

One of the best place to visit in Dallas, Downtown. The city view from the tower is really awesome 👍. The total floor is the 50th floor and the 171 mtr height tower. There are enough parking spaces and a parking fee of $10 which is for 2 hrs and it's reasonable. They have a small gift shop in the top viewing area and some games for play. They also take a picture of your group or single in the waiting area while waiting at the elevator and at the top floor there is a screen where you can scan your ticket and get all the photos into your email. Overall it is a remarkable place to visit.

Our half-day exploration of Dallas began with a bang at Reunion Tower, and what a fantastic choice it was! The 360-degree views from the top floor were breathtaking, offering a panoramic glimpse of the city skyline and beyond. But the true highlight was our encounter with Jayme, one of the tower's knowledgeable ambassadors.Jayme's passion for Dallas was infectious, and his insights into the city's history and hidden gems made our visit even more enriching. He transformed our half-day tour into a personalized itinerary, pointing us towards must-see landmarks and lesser-known treasures we never would have discovered on our own.If you're planning a trip to Dallas, don't miss Reunion Tower. And if you're lucky enough to meet Jayme, be sure to engage him in conversation and please send him many thanks from Tzvee Shahar – you're in for a treat!

This tower is like the Tower of the America's in San Antonio. It's certainly more spectacular at night because of the color changing lights on it and across Dallas, but day yime visit isn't a waste. It wasn't horribly crowded which was great. The gift shop is really small right now because it's upstairs due to the remodel, but you can find something unique. A giant pencil cost me $10 and a wooden monogrammed pen cost me $14. They take your picture before you enter the tower so be prepared. They offer hats and signs you can use if you'd like. There is a bag check but it isn't invasive. We didn't have to wait long to go up it was about 20-30 minutes.

It was nice to get the beautiful views from the tower. Everything was well organized and clean. No one was rushed or ordered around. We could relax and enjoy the view as long as we wanted. The staff was kind and helpful. 360 views of Dallas.

Went 4 the Texas Bear Round Up (TBRU) ans what a TREAT. The staff were friendly and did their utmost to make everyone feel welcome n valuable. Clean facilities and nice folk. Go here, for certain.

Definitely buy tickets in advance and if you want to see the sunset, plan your scheduled time for 30 min or more before the actual sunset since a long line to get the elevator up. If it’s a clear day, you’ll love it! Thanks and enjoy!

The view was good. I wouldn't say it was great because all that you see are some skyscrapers and flyovers. Its not as good as the view from some of the other tall buildings in the world I assume. There is nothing really to complain though, entry is $20 per person, took about a min for us to reach the observation deck, looked around, clicked some pics, sat for some time and came back.

Amazing views of Dallas. The best time to go is around evening perhaps 30min before sunset. Then stay until it is dark to see the perfect view of Dallas skyline all lighted up. It was simply awesome. The reflection of the sun on the tall buildings were amazing and then all of them lighting up in the night with different colors was magnificent. My college buddy from Seattle had come over and he found Dallas view from Reunion Tower has been the best one he has seen around the country from different towers.

Beautiful observation tower in the heart of downtown Dallas. Tickets are a littke pricey for typically spending about 1 hour there. But great 360 degree views of Dallas from the observation deck. For those concerned for weather or less adventurous, you can enjoy the view from the indoor platform. Ticket price includes printed & digital photos of you with the Reunion Tower.

Lois F — Google review

It's a fantastic spot to enjoy a panoramic view of Dallas all at once. There's a dedicated parking lot for the Reunion Tower, conveniently located nearby. I visited on a late Sunday afternoon and found plenty of available spots. Parking cost me $10. I purchased a tower admission ticket from the official website, which included the opportunity to take photos before riding the elevator. Ticket prices vary depending on your admission time. I tried to print my photos (which cost around $9-10), but the quality was poor, so I wouldn't recommend it.

We had visited several observatories and this one was probably the least impressive. Bright, colorful lights inside the observation deck reflected on the glass, making it challenging to view the skyline at night. This significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the observatory. I don't understand why such lights are required inside an observation deck when the main objective is to view the city.I think the experience would be a lot better during the daytime when there won’t be any internal lighting. The only thing we liked here was the display showcasing a documentary on JFK's assassination and the option to view the skyline from multiple live cameras. Unfortunately these couldn't compensate for the disappointing experience we had because of the excessive internal lighting that obstructed the view of the city at night.

My husband and I went here for our marriage license and the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful! Cassie was the one that helped us with the certificate and she was so sweet! We were in and out in 20 minutes! Great experience!

Terrible customer service I got a ticket on the December 24 and had to call everyday until January 21 to get any information and still got put on hold to no one ever coming back

Jaden B — Google review

Website says office closes at 5pm. They close at 430! Took part of a day off work to see the County Clerk...what a waste of time.

Julie L — Google review

Went there for passport got there like an hour before they close and The security guards in front at the check entrance are very rude they say they’re close when they are not just because they have some people in their that doesn’t mean they close so I insisted to go in and they attended me and not even close to time they close. If you go with plenty of time and they say they are close they are not. They did that to me twice ☹️ the first time lost half day of work took my child out of school early for nothing . Made meMad after they try doing that the second time 😠

I called multiple numbers that were given to me so I could call and make a payment. Each time I was sent to a voicemail where I left a message asking for them to return my phone call, which they never did. This is very frustrating, because I have a due date for this payment and am paying by card

This people are awesome!!! We couldn’t find any appointments to get our passport done in any post office, we went there and had no idea they do passports!! They took us in with no appointment and got it done super fast and super helpful. Thank you soooo much

Viper W — Google review

I had a great experience with Mary Ann she was very helpful and walked us throughout our passport process she took the time to explain and provided us with the information we needed. The other lady who works there has no costumer service and bad attitude and was no help at all.

I live near Palestine and made the trip twice to get a copy of my divorce papers, i searched the big book and found two different cause numbers and they were unable to find either one. Who looks for these how long do they look and,d and how hard do they look?

I had a good experience at this location 5/2018. I was in & out in 10min. I downloaded & completed the paperwork at home and had photo taken in advance at Walgreens. All I really had to do was drop off paperwork, have it notarized on site, and pay. I couldn't believe it when my passport arrived in only about 10 days. Generally, government workers are not known for customer service but that being the case I thought the staff was cordial.

Charlotte S — Google review

I chose to go to this location because the Dallas locations are always packed. I kept calling to see if they took passport pictures at this location (like they do in Dallas) but no one would answer the phone. I walk in and there are two ladies seated at the counter, and both just looked at me. I guess that is how they greet customers and let you know they are willing to help. I was disappointed to find out they didn't take pictures on site. Go to CVS to get the pictures . I return, and again the same greeting, just a stare. I guess I interrupted breakfast because they both were eating something that looked like a Poptart. I'm sorry I interrupted your breakfast, and I am even more sorry that I am making you do the job that you chose to work. If I ever need anything else, I will just wait in the Dallas offices. What ever happened to customer service?

I called this morning on the morning of 02/04/2019 and the phone was answered by district court staff of Ellis County, and i hate to speculate, but I'm sure I was hung up on. I began my question to the clerk's office and was followed by a tone. I proceeded to call back, then I was swiftly sent to voicemail repeatedly. These are legal matters that affect the lives of many and if the personnel of this district clerks office doesn't care enough about people's live, they should find another profession. I wish that i could upload the audio to show that I have to motive to fabricate such a claim. This is a court clerks office, not a call center. These people have no business presiding over important legal matters of other individuals lives if they are just to answer the inquiries of people within this county, just do your job. Trust me, I wouldn't call this court if i didn't have to. Awfully rude, they can be with lack of professionalism and integrity in what they do.

Riders Field is the home of the RoughRiders, where visitors can enjoy a lively game atmosphere. The night of the Jung/Young Bobblehead give-away was eventful, with some frustration over people receiving multiple bobbleheads. Despite this, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially in getting stamps for the MiLB Passport Stamp books. Unfortunately, a power outage caused a two-hour delay and led to a lack of energy in the stadium as many fans left before the game even started.

Great family fun!! The staff is always nice and helpful! There are plenty of food options and we have never had a bad thing to say about any of them. Fun for all ages with affordable ticket packages! And there literally is not a bad seat in the house.

Beautiful place to walk around. The pool area looked like fun with a DJ working his magic. Yes!! - to simple styling of swimsuits and flip flops! Melt in makeup at your own risk! Wish** I was better prepared for lawn seats. Note: Always keep a blanket in the car.

Beautiful field. Seats with lots of legroom. Great minor league experience. Definitely recommend for families looking for an affordable baseball experience.

There isn't a bad seat in the stadium. The staff are super friendly and want you to have a good time. There are lots of opportunities for kids to participate and get into the sport. Parking is easy and not expensive.

Frisco Rough Riders are my favorite baseball team. I love this minor league team, the stadium, the games, the players and especially when the players are called up! It's family friendly and affordable!🎶TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME🎶

Great game experience. Kid friendly theme for holiday. Perfect family night out. 3rd base side gets shade before first base. Fireworks show was cherry on top.

What a disaster! People screaming. ADA Parking is a terrible. We got kicked out of the handicapped spot so the bus can park there. Employees don't know where else we can go and don't care. The ones we can see are blocked off.Update:talked to a supervisor, Ryan. He let us park in a lot on the south side that they had blocked off. No other people with placards were accommodated.Tried to buy event tickets online, but it's a nightmare too! Epic Fail

So much fun!!! I don’t know if this is the only place in the world that has this…. But there is a lazy River in the outfield!!! If you aren’t floating around to outfield… what are you even doing with your life?!?!? The park has a vintage feel and is so cute! Everyone needs to check this place out!

Brittani M — Google review

Great family friendly venue. Prices are very reasonable, parking is close, and the field is right there from your seat! You can't get this experience anywhere else for what you pay here. Summer nights are tolerable if you can get a 3rd base side seat.

Loved it. Very nice field. Riders got smoked but I still had a great time. If you love baseball you'll love this place.

My daughter, two grandsons and I attended a RoughRiders game. We attended the night of the Jung/Young Bobblehead give-away. It was frustrating seeing people walking in and out to receive multiple bobbleheads. At one point a worker came up and tried to put a stop to it, but some people were walking around with bags full of boxes… We have the MiLB Passport Stamp books and the lady in the store was very friendly in helping us get our stamps and validating our stamps. Most all of the workers we interacted with were very friendly! I felt bad for the team since the game was delayed by a power outage for two hours and most of the fans left. There was no energy at the stadium.. I’m sure this is not the case for all games, just this one since it was 9 before the game even started. We will be back next season for another game!!

This was a very fun activity for 4 of our children,, my wife & I and our parents.I have to say that I've never been interested in baseball even in the least.....but this was a very enjoyable night! I had my father in-law to walk me through the ins and outs of the game.We lost. They played very well and the events were fun and made you laugh. The park was well kept, clean and the layout made it so there is no bad seating. The lazy river was awesome....just go check it out..trust me.We enjoyed kettle corn, peanuts, and a couple Shiners. To finish off a memorable night we all walked on to the field and watch a very nice fireworks show.It was better than the fireworks down in Ellis County at 4th of July!

The ballpark, the amenities, and the staff were great , but the concession stands left much to be desired. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a hot dog because they did not have any ready, even though the ballpark had been open for at least an hour. They also had issues with their POS system. Not sure if this is a regular occurrence but it made for a so-so experience.

Debbie R — Google review

The Frights and Lights event is very geared towards kids. I would not recommend it for adults. You not only have to pay to enter and park but have to pay for every event inside. Also, the stuff is dated and falling apart

Lizz C — Google review

Seriously! The best ball park I have ever been too. Full disclosure I am not a huge sports-ball person. This isn't the biggest or most prestigious ballpark I've been too but I liked it the most. It's set up like something right off of Main st in Disneyland. True Americana for a truly American pastime ⚾🧢. The park feels quaint and intimate. Dr Pepper being the sponsor is definitely felt everywhere but they are a Texas company and Frisco is a Texas town. The food was great ☺️👍. Not at all what I expected. We got nachos and quesadillas from the cantina, pretzels, cotton candy, dipping dots and Dr Pepper of course! They had a lazy river! How cool is that! Going tubing while you enjoy a ballgame. Behind the food stands they had a tree lined path to stroll and enjoy with a bar at the end. There was an epically cool kids playground for free, 9 and under, and pay to play inflatables and other activities for bored kids that aren't going to make it a whole 9 innings. We went for a scout night and my kids' troop was able to perform a flag 🇺🇸 ceremony before the game. They were so welcoming to the scouts and had fun little contests in between innings. We topped off the evening 🌆 with an incredible fireworks 🎆🎇 display. This place was a fabulous 🤩 experience for our entire family and I won't pass on an opportunity to go again 😊❤️
